An angus beef patty topped with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and toreado chiles, it's got the all the heat and flavor one would expect from list of toppings. Skip the fries and order the perfectly fried onion rings, or better yet, go with the toro tots. These are tater tots smother in chile con queso, diced green chiles, toro sauce and ground beef. The Buffalo chicken is delicious but the Buffalo sauce is a bit too spicy, so opt for the honey chipotle version instead. The sweet heat is perfectly on point and one of my favorire sandwiches. Or opt for the sauce on an order of wings. You won't regret it. First off, I came in and the girls that were working didn't even acknowledge me because they were on their phones. I ordered a watermelon mint lemonade, literally tasted like water with MIO flavoring in it, no vodka. The gentleman that sat down next to me asked about IPA beers on draft and the bartender had absolutely no clue what was on draft. I deemed this the 'Last Supper' as we ate here on the Wednesday before Easter and the day before we hiked the Guadalupe peak trail. I was with somewhat novice hikers and avid burger fiends. The burgers are all of the zany, cookie variety in terms of toppings. one of the peeps in our party got a burger with mac and cheese on it. The craziest one I saw was the Flaming Queso burger. It was a burger with Hot Cheetos and of course queso cheese oozing all over it. If I'd have eaten this one then it indeed would have been my Last Supper. I instead opted for the Hawaiian burger. It consisted of Canadian bacon, an orange teriyaki sauce, pepper jack cheese and a pineapple jam. It was really good and had just a hint of sweetness. The burgers are a la cart so if you want fries then you have to pay a couple bucks extra. The burgers are around 7-10 dollar range so it's not a bad deal. I got the chili lime fries which are fresh cut fries with chili lime salt on them. It's the same price as regular fries so I didn't feel slighted. We washed this down with a few beers from their fully stocked bar. No room for the shakes after but they looked delish. read more

I heard great things about this place. Came in at 1140 for lunch, we were a party of 8. Our order was taken at noon, and our order was not served til we told the waitress we had to go, so they brought it to go and charged us. That was at 1250. Yup, that happened. Huge disappointment. Smaller parties were served their food, and other big parties like us orders were delayed but not near as ours. We were in military uniform, we do not know if that was the reason. Tasted my food about an hour later, I got buffalo beef for my burger, it was delicious thats the only reason I did give it 2 vs 1 stars. I came here at 2pm after I flew into the El Paso Airport. The parking lot was small but still had spaces to park. There were a few people eating here and even one girl at the bar. I was told to pick a table to eat at so I did and was handed a menu. The menu was mainly burgers and each had a description of the ingredients which was good. The guy who took my order recommended the Toro Burger ($8.25) or the Green Chile Burger ($8.25). Out of the two, I chose the Green Chile Burger as well as ordering the Toro Tots ($7.00) and a coke ($2.50). The Toro Tots was a lot but it tasted good to me. It definitely would be enough for two people to share for an appetizer. The Green Chile Burger took a while to cook and to come out to me. Everything in that burger tasted good and I thought it all complemented well with the other ingredients. If you like green chile then that burger would be my recommendation. Good burger place! So the other day I decided to visit Toro Burger for lunch because a friend of mine from out of town swore by this place. Well, that...and I kept reading reviews describing their burgers as "the best in El Paso". And whilst I can't say for certain they are indeed the best in town, I can definitely say they possess great potential. One of the first things I noticed about this place was the outstanding and attentive service. Let's just say I never saw the bottom of my water glass. Granted a lot of this could have been attributed to the fact that I was the first customer of the day and only customer for the first 15 minutes, it seemed apparent these folks really like their jobs. I also noticed how just about every server in the place was sporting Converse All Star shoes (my favorite brand of sneaker). Not relevant to the quality of food, I know. But kudos for having consistent fashion trend regardless. Before I even set foot in this place, I previewed the menu as I do with just about every restaurant with a website. I had my eye on the Rise and Shine burger because I'm a huge fan of breakfast and...pretty much anything containing egg in it. As I take a bite into this thing, I feel what I assume is just grease from the burger coming out the back. But...wait...no. The egg exploded. Yeah, it frickin exploded. There's no other way to put it. And why did it explode? Because they served an over easy egg inside a sandwich configuration. See, normally when serving a breakfast sandwich of any kind, it's usually common practice to serve a fried (over hard) egg. I dunno...I guess some people prefer their burgers messy. But not me, since I'm OCD as hell. Well, this one was messier than a burrito at Chico's Tacos. But how did it taste? Honestly, it was pretty tasty. Granted the beef was slightly under seasoned and the hashbrowns were barely noticeable, I dig the concept. The style of burgers here is very rustic, but fresh. Not to mention the fries were perfectly cooked. I could totally come back here and try a different burger...perhaps a mushroom Swiss of sorts. I imagine this stuff must taste pretty phenomenal when you're buzzed, drunk or high. And they DO have a full bar. I was looking for a burger joint that I could not find or was not familiar with in other cities. A quick google/Yelp search brought this place up. Figured why the hell not, let's try it out. I had the SOB Burger which is basically a burger, with bacon and BBQ sauce. I swapped out the fresh onions with grilled onions. The BBQ sauce was not bad just runny but the burger tasted fresh and was shaped so. I would definitely stop by here to check this place out as it also has a good selection of craft beers and a full bar. They have a good selection of beer on tap and my fav is the pineapple ale with Tajín rim. I have tried most of their burgers and I haven't come across one I didn't like. Most of the servers we have had have been good except one , his name was Lupe or Guadalupe and he was phenomenal. Amazing service and great recommendations when asked. He made the experience amazing. However! This is the only reason I deducted a star: they are slow. The food and orders take FOREVER! Be prepared to be there 1-2 hours just waiting on your normal food. And this is during all hours, peak or not. Honestly, I can't say a single good thing about this spot. Walked in, and the floor was sticky, should have known that was indicative of the care taken of this facility. Food was terrible, service was terrible. We ordered 2 burgers, two plates of Mac and cheese. Not only did the order come out wrong, but the food was cold, and flavorless.
