We checked out the new location on John Hayes and Pebble Hills, right across from the high school. I'd never tried their food before, but my first experience was a great one. The jalapeño burger was delicious -- perfect charbroil flavor and really flavorful jalapeños. Portions are generous, so come hungry. The fries were crisp and seasoned just right.It's a small, cozy spot, but the food tastes incredibly fresh. While looking for something that wasn't the same ol same ol on a sunday we came across this little spot on the eastside. With a name like Not Just Burgers you would imagine that I would want to order something other than just a burger, sadly that was not the case as their burgers smelled and looked pretty good! Went with the fam and ordered A Chorizo burger, a Hawaiian burger and my son got the kids hot dog. Prices was what is about average for eating out nowadays (little over 30) but my son liked his hot dog so that was a pass already for me. Their burgers were delicious, although the bread could use a little bit of a softer feel to it, I think it's mostly because they probably toast the bread as it felt a bit warm to the touch when we received them. The hawaiian had ham on it which made it feel like a Mexa style burger to me and the sweetness of the pineapple really brought everything together. They did serve their burgers with a Chile Toreado and that was a good kind of spicy for the combo. The fries were golden brown and delicious but nothing to write home about, they were just good for being fries. We plan to visit again and try their tortas and tacos so we can see the other things they offer but for now this is a pretty dope burger joint for those looking for something a tad different from the norm. read more

First and last time here! The food is not good. I got a chicken Buffalo sandwich and the chicken had a bone in it. I bit into it, very nasty. My son got a barbacoa torta and it hardly had any barbacoa in it. Fries are not very good either. I do not recommend this place. read more

Service was rushed as they were to close in 30 minutes and we were warned when wanting to order. The staff in the back was preparing their own food to take home and ours as well without any protective gloves. Restaurant was dirtied with food and napkins on the floor. So excited to finally taste the food at Not just burgers. It smells so delicious walking in! Christina was the cashier that helped us. Very wonderful, she went over the menu and informed me of what are some of the favorite foods. Obviously from the name they sell a different variety of food. Corn in a cup, churros rellenos, flautas ahogadas Chico's style (not sure if they compare), tortas, hot dogs, wings, fried mushrooms, tosti elotes. Just to name a few*. Inside is a little small but very clean. Soda fountain is kinda hidden behind a wall. Salsa bar for your tacos is available. For small children there is high chairs available and kids menu. Some breakfast items are available* I had the Deshebrada torta and the meat was so tender, full of flavor. You get a side of French fries with your combo that don't come seasoned, but you have salt, pepper, ketchup, available at the table. Combo also comes with a drink. Food looked great on line. We ordered for pick up. Elote in a cup was undercooked, grainy and had a ketchup sauce. Wings were a nice size. Flats were over cooked and dry. "Not Just Burgers", is a diamond in the rough, amazing smoked flavor, hefty portion sizes in fair relation to pricing, mild atmosphere that accentuates the aura, and they bring the food out to you. I absolutely enjoyed the menu options I chose for my, first of, very many visits I'm entirely sure. The cashier was quite friendly, and eager to aid in my selections, the "Jalapeño" burger, and the "California" burger are what I started my, "Not Just Burgers" adventure with, both very flavor packed punches of deliciousness. The Jalapeño burgers grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, and bacon made for such an exciting combination of a caramelized eruption, followed closely with a succulent beef patty, and nice crisp veggies, add the gang of the burger sauces, and I was already more than eager to bite down into the next one. And, upon doing so, I was quickly brought right back to sunny California, because I could taste fresh avocado throughout the "California" burger, when the green chile entered the party, and everything secondary I loved about the first burger, sauces, and veggies alike, I knew I'd be back for more, much more! I had one of the two burgers in a combo, the fries unfortunately weren't as amazing of a surprise, and delight as the burgers, but they are a secondary additive to the main even anyways, they weren't terrible, average, and crinkle cut. Drink selections were also average from the beverage bar, although they do offer special drink selections, such as lemonade, and canned sodas for those on the run. I didn't care for the music, but there were no horrible wait times, quite speedy service, and I had no difficulties finding somewhere to sit down. I'm going to without a doubt continue to visit this wonderful eatery, even after I've had not just burgers, but everything on the menu. If you find yourself anywhere near Pelicano, or Montana in the great city of El Paso, Texas of Mexico, this place deserves a visit for sure! There are various burgers we come across in life, the fast food types like Burger King, gourmet burgers that you find at the better restaurants, homemade burgers and my favorite just the good ol' classic type juicy burgers with all the fixins. I was eyeing the California burger (avocado and green chilli), I asked the cashier if he could pick one burger what would he get and he said the California and so it was meant to be. After about 7.2 minutes (yes I said 7.2 lol) my order arrived perfectly cooked big burger (reminded me of in-n-out) and perfectly cooked fries and their fountain sodas have crushed ice! Needless to say there is a reason pictures don't exist. There was only one bite where I think there there was too much "charr" but I went in hungry and left satisfied... Food is great, I honestly haven't had anything bad from here. Customer service is great if you get the right person. We have food allergies and our orders are specific they have messed up a few times but always correct it. The only time I had an issue was when they messed it up on a delivery I had all my kids with me and because I didn't bring the sandwich in that was messed up they wouldn't fix it. It was my bad for not bringing the other one but I didn't know too and with three kids in tow I wasn't going back a second time. Saw this place on Apple Maps and thought I'd give it a try. I just ordered a double cheeseburger with everything it came with. This cheeseburger was delicious, i damn near inhaled that shit from the first bite. But all jokes aside if you like flame grilled burgers this is the place to go! The fries were on point not to soggy and not over fried. I give this place a 4 star only because I'm from California and the only five star burger I had was a chili cheeseburger from Tommy's other than that this place beats a lot of hole in the wall restaurants in my opinion but you should definitely give it a try it's delicious and for the price you pay you get what you deserve! These burgers were very simple, this isn't one of your new-fangled gourmet burger joints. They took the burger and perfected it. No frills needed when you just want a quality tasting burger. My burger was satisfying and seasoned just right. Yum yum. The location is very small and near a high school so keep that in mind if you go during the hours of 2-4pm.
