A very elegant steakhouse nestled near the sea in this tropical paradise. If you like good food, good people and great service you will love it here. The hours of operation do change from time to time, so make sure you check. This past Friday they opened their doors at 5:30 pm. Which ment you you want to get in line by 5. This restaurant is very popular and will get busy. So get here early. The food is fantastic cooked to order. My wife and I had the ribeye steak with sides which was very flavorful. The staff were very polite and professional. We received the appetizers right away as well as our drinks. The atmosphere was 5 star of course some folks felt the need to dress up, but the majority of the people were casual. It's the tropics yaa know! They do offer outdoor seating where you can take in a gentle ocean breeze with your meal. All and all I give this place three thumbs up. However if you arrive one hour after they open, be prepared to wait a little longer for you food. So keep that in mind, that 50 to 70 people all walk in at the same time. So be a little more understanding and patient. Coming early helps alleviate a little of the sting of father time. Everyone is doing their best to ensure people have a memorable time here. If you have reservations you need to be on time! Bring your happy face, it doesn't hurt to smile. All inclusive doesn't mean don't tip. It goes a long way and is appreciated.

The all inclusive dinner here and the ambiance were great! Nothing better than sitting seaside with a glass of wine waiting for your meal to come! Started off with a wedge salad and shrimp cocktail. Then our main course was two filet mignon, rib eye and New York steak. The side dishes were garlic mashed potatoes, mixed veggies and French fries! Dessert consisted of cheesecake smothered with strawberry topping, thick piece of carrot cake and a warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream. Very nice experience at the Hard Rock Riviera Maya!

The Market has everything under the sun with flavors that will challenge your taste buds. From veggie only options to seafood, chicken, beef and pork. To soups, salads and mouth watering desserts! The staff here will make sure that your cup/glass is always full. If you prefer wine with your fish they bring the bottle tableside and pour to your satisfaction. Many of their wines are from Spain and other European countries. At the meals end a nice piece of cake warshed down with some of the best coffee I have ever had in any restaurant back in the USA. If your in a hurry and have things lined up like tours or music events for the day. Going to a buffet style restaurant is your best bet. The breakfast here is amazing.

For a buffet, the Market does a great job! There is always such a wide variety of food available for every meal! For breakfast there were the usual suspects....freshly made waffle & pancake station, omelette station, plus tons of American and Mexican entrees. There was a pizza oven where they warmed tacos for a taco bar at breakfast and made pizzas at lunch. There were always fresh fruit and green juices and horchata water. At dinner there are different theme nights (Italian, Steak, etc.) We walked by when they had the seafood buffet and it looked excellent with lobster, crab, and many varieties of fish. The staff served beverages and was always very helpful. Sometimes the a la carte restaurants at the Hard Rock were disappointing but you could never go wrong at the Market.

The smoothies were terrible. Don't bother. Orange juice tastes like it's fresh squeezed. That was a nice surprise. I did go for a quick bite at dinner time one night. Taco bar is the only decent thing I had in there. At any rate, the other restaurants are all booked up most days so this is a good option.

The station had lots of topping choices and there were 2 going at the same time, so no waiting in line. I usually only eat turkey bacon at home, so the real bacon here was a real treat to me! And who doesn't love eating FRESH SMOKED SALMON with breakfast - what a treat! I also had a cantaloupe and pineapple plate and the fruit was so perfectly ripe, it was almost hard to pickup with a fork! My fiancé had the french toast after we heard another couple talking about it at check-in last night ... it truly didn't disappoint! You could see the granules of sugar on top mmmmhmmm! He also made his own chilaquiles ... look at that pickled onion on top - amazing! He also had this really delish candied pear that had a plop of whipped cream on top, as well as other fruits. It was the perfect level of sweet and tart mix. Of course don't forget to order your mimosas and bloody mary's to go along with your epic breakfast!

I honestly didn't expect a lot, but we were all pleasantly surprised by the wide array of options, and the fact that virtually all dishes we tried turned out to be really good. Now keep in mind that my 5 star rating is not based on an absolute scale, meaning that I'm not putting it in the same category as a 3-star Michelin joint, but it's based on what I expected from an included dining menu at a hotel. I actually tried to get something different every meal and everything I tried was good. Lunch, in particular, was outstanding. The queso fundido, jalapeno poppers, ceviche, calamari, etc were something we got over and over. The only disappointment was the pork loin medallions my wife got that were overcooked and super dry. But seriously - I will not hesitate to use this option again. Service is a little slow, but you're on vacation so enjoy.

This restaurant is located behind the entrance gates for the Coba ruins (sorry, yelp, for reporting…read morethe place closed, but the location doesn't match up with the yelp map). It is a big, two storied facility that faces the lake, and the huge parking lot makes it popular with tour groups and daytrippers. They have a full bar and serve dinner, unlike most of the other places in town, which have no alcohol and are often only open until 6pm. They have a buffet, but we ordered a la carte. Food was served up quickly. The food was pretty good but definitely not as good as the other places we tried in Coba. Prices were slightly higher than at the little places outside of the gates. But the place definitely felt clean, and if you want servers who speak English (or even French or German), this place is your place. We had the guacamole, which was very good but not as good as other places in Coba. My husband had the quesadillas, which were really big. My kids had kid meal things. I had the roast pork, which was well-seasoned. It came with a small amount of rice and beans, which were fine. The beers are served ice cold, which is nice after hiking around the ruins.

This was good. A lot of cheese but it was fresh and not oily at all. The spaghetti with meat sauce was a little bland but good just the same. We also had a fresh fish dish that was good. Not sure what kind of fish it was. This is a good option when visiting Coba if you check out the ruins, eat, then drive on to the cenotes or back toward Tulum.
