Highly recommend!!! Dropped in after purchasing a brand new bike for my child, it was already assembled. We decided to have training wheels placed on it because he is still learning to balance. However, only after 2-days of riding, the chain was then rubbing against the tires and unable to ride it. So I checked around for the nearest local bike shop. Actually had a little drive to this location, but very much worth the drive. Danielle was awesome! She not only completed a quick assessment on the bike, she fixed it too. It didn't take her much time at all, I know she has her hands full with many other customers bikes. She was so patient with us. And her dog Paul is super sweet. He works hard and so very friendly. I will definitely be utilizing Danielle for al my future bike concerns. After all, he will out grow his 20" bike at some point. Incredibly rude and was unable to have any service provided. Stopped by at listed time for opening and was told from the back they were closed. Had the audacity to ask when they were open and was rather rudely told again they were closed by a yell from the unseen back. Not the service worthy of a return visit and was enough for me to download this app again just to review how poorly it went. Store could be good just catch them on the right day apparently. Bad experience! Dropped off a bike to box it up. Told me that the bike will be ready last Friday and this did not happen due to outages. Saturday is what they told me next and no one called me. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday closed. Called today "Wednesday" and they just hung up on me. 4:30pm and they closed without a phone call back. Not sure how much longer they will ignore me. I stopped by today to drop off a bike I bought to get the gears looked at. Nice guy met me when I came in and took a few minutes to look at it and fixed it for me in a couple minutes. I'm 52 and haven't ridden a bike for real since I was in high school. I recently purchased a vintage mixte bike from CL and while it was in very good shape, I wanted to get it adjusted and fitted for me. A co-worker recommended Torrenti and since I was tired of putting my bike in the back of my Nissan sedan AND combined with the fact that I wanted to work with a woman for some "fit" issues, I sent them an email. Danielle emailed me back promptly and I told her what I thought I needed. Despite living on the other side of the Triangle from her, she was very accommodating of my schedule. She came out and was able to get my bike set up relatively quickly. My son came out and we had several department store bikes in the garage and asked her if she could take a look at one and get it working for my son. She was more than happy to help. She was able to get one of the department store bikes set up and working despite having been neglected for several years. She even rode out with my son to make sure everything fit and helped him understand how to use the more complex bike. Then came time to pay. Having taken a vintage Raleigh Road Bike to Oak City Cycling Project and having them charge 175 for a tune up of one bike, I was expecting a bill of at least a couple hundred dollars (she had been at my house for nearly 2 hours). I was shocked when she gave me a total bill for less than 95 bucks -- and that included a new seat post and pedal extenders. Both bikes work great. Danielle was TRULY a pleasure to work with. These folks have repaired my grand children's bicycles over the past 8 months or so. The repairs has included bent rims, brakes, tires, adjustments. Very impressed! I'm so glad we called to get our bikes repairs by this company. They came out to our home the next day after calling. We had a boys Trek bike that needed a new tube and brake repair and a men's Trek triathlon bike that had a spoke missing. They repaired both by the next day and even ran a few tests just to make sure they were safe. It was so easy, we didn't have to take the bikes anywhere and got them back, delivered, the very next day! The prices were very reasonable as well. I called Torrenti and scheduled an on-site visit in Holly Springs for three poorly-maintained bikes -- one for a minor tune-up, one for a major tune-up including badly out-of-true wheels, and one that was so far gone I thought it might be totaled (broken fork, 20-year-old hardware, stuck shifters, etc.) They did a simply amazing job, doing the minor tune-up on the spot and transporting the other two back and forth to the shop for free. All three bikes are in great shape now. They were on time, fairly priced, and super friendly/helpful for a casual rider/non-expert like me. They clearly enjoy and take real pride in their work, and went well beyond my expectations. I'm an infrequent web recommender but they were just too good. read more
