Amazingly convenient, fast and trustworthy tire shop. On Jan 1 I woke up to a flat tire (yay 2021!) and tried filling it with air which actually worked... for about 48 hours. In desperate need of a fix on a Sunday, I started calling every tire shop in the area but found out that a lot of people were having car trouble (I.e. Costco was booked solid for a week). A friend found Torreron off of a google search and sent their contact info to me. The reviews looked positive so I called directly. They asked me to pull around back when I arrived and no appointment necessary. You pull into a parking pad and call the business number. 2 men came out and asked what they could do. I explained the issue and they told me to feel free to sit back into my car. They jacked the car while I stayed warm in my vehicle and within 10 minutes, they replaced my flat with another tire, rotated the 2 on that side, and showed me the old tire that needed replacing. It was $60 cash and I was on my way! I was impressed and confused all at the same time because in all other experiences, I've had to drop off my car, wait hours and pay a lot more. Fast repair for a nail in the tire, easy access in back alley though a lot of construction is happening around there. I went here with the usual expectation of $10 nail removal like most other cash only quick fix tire spots in the area. I got duped unfortunately after the 5 min repair was done and the head guy said I had to pay $20. I always tip at these places so chalked it up to a 50% tip and didn't want to argue with dude, but I won't be going back here. He cashed in on an opportunity and I lost in the end. I'll stick with Tello or Elmos they're honest and do the repair right in front of you, unlike this place where they take your tire and the machines are inside where you don't get to see what they're doing. read more

I was told by a large National chain that I had tire rot and needed 2 new tires. Torreón was recommended by my regular mechanic for tires. They are a bit hard to find as you have to pull in the back alley. When I did pull in several of the guys were out back grilling. They looked at my tires and said all I needed was the rim cleaned on one. In and out in 10 minutes for $20. Good as new and I got a tasty taco as well! read more

DO NOT TRUST THE FAT OLD GUY!!! I've been coming to this shop since I was 5 now 33. My parents used to always bring their cars here for tire repairs. I had a leak in a brand new tire and they told me the tire wasn't good anymore due to a small slit near the rim so they sold me a used tire and kept mine. After constantly having air leaks I went to Firestone with an almost complete flat tire and was confirmed they sold me the wrong size. After going back to confront the old fat scammer his worker remembered me and recalled putting on the tire they sold me. The fat old man completely denied ever even selling me the tire. Said that's not of his business and what does he have to do with the wrong size. Even tho his worker was telling him I was right and telling the truth because he recalled putting on the used wrong tire. Walked out with no resolution, not even acknowledging that he sold me the wrong size instead asked if I needed him to look for any nails. Such a Dick read more

Left work one evening only to realize I had a flat, I was so pissed. I called the pep boys across the street the guy on the phone says "Sorry we're closed can't help you." Once again I was directly across the street from them (what an a**hole). My boyfriend met me at work and google mapped a tire shop and these guys were around the corner AND still open. We went over there and they didn't have my tire size but luckily they had a size close to it. The guy told me call back in two days we'll have the correct size and swap it for you. My bf bought the tire for $45 and we drove back and put it on my car. I called two days later they had the right size, went back and they swapped it free of charge. I see a lot of ppl complaining about the language barrier, maybe you guys should learn to speak Spanish lol. read more

Do not go here! I came here based on the good reviews and because it was close and open on Superbowl Sunday. I noticed a deflated tire the night before and filled it with air. Although it hadn't deflated again, it seemed like it might be a little low and I wanted to make sure it wasn't punctured. The guy was friendly and asked for my tire lock key. I fished it out of the trunk and gave him the brand new never opened key received from the dealer. He put it in his drill and proceeded to break the key inside my tire lock. He then said "sorry man, you have to take it back to the dealer. You need a key and it's broken." I said to him "I just gave you a brand new key that came from the dealer." He just kept saying "sorry, I tried, but it's broken. You need a new one." He got his buddy who came out with a different set of tools and tried to unlock it, but this didn't work either. Apparently, that was the end of their efforts and they just insisted I needed to take it to the dealer. Then the first guy said "well, I can check your tire pressure." He checks it and concludes "yeah, your tire is fine." Why didn't he do this BEFORE breaking my key inside the tire lock I don't know. The guy basically stood around looking like he was expecting payment. I just said, "I can't believe this," got into the car and drove away. Not sure if the tire is ok and obviously will need to get it repaired properly now. read more

You see it all. . . the men pounding away at the frame. They clean the tire. All while you are sitting up with I am assuming the owner watching horror films from Mexico. They will also go outside and work on your tire if they need. There is one huge room and it is full of tires. They sell tires for dirt cheap. The service was dirt cheap. The men were pretty nice and good people. I had cash so I have no idea if they take credit cards. Methinks I will arrive there later in the year to indulge in their bounty of cheap tires. read more

I went to this tire shop last weekend because I kept experiencing a flat tire on the front right side. A car repair shop near me on Belmont advised me to go to Torreon to check it out. They took my car in right away, checked out the tire, and charged only $10 for a repair. It was so quick. I didn't have cash so they even trusted me to drive off and go get cash for them. My car got a flat right down their alley. I was able to pull in and have them take a look at it. Unfortunately they didn't have my tire size but were able to fix my busted spare, which I greatly appreciated. I docked a star since the spare the fixed got flat the next morning and when I called to see if they had my tires that they said they would get, they had not gotten it.
