We made an appointment for Monday afternoon at 4:30, he never showed and when I reached out he said he forgot to add it to his calendar. Okay, things happen. We made another appointment for Thursday, again 4:30, i came home about 4:20 to find his business card in my door. I called, he said that he had it down for Thursday afternoon and showed up at, if I understood him correctly, noon and when I wasn't home just left, didn't even call, just left. He said that he could still make it tonight possibly around 5:30, to which I agreed, but I felt it was reasonable to say that if he couldn't make it, I wouldn't try rescheduling again. His response was that he doesn't really work on a strict timeline (paraphrasing) and that he knew my time was valuable so he would pass on the job. My job is a relatively small job, I want to add a dog door to our slider, so I get it the it wasn't worth his time, but then say no at the start, don't give me a rough quote and then schedule an appointment just to miss it. Several people I reached out to have already told me they don't do the work I'm requesting, which is fine. I can't judge the quality of work, but the customer service, at least in my case, wasn't good.

We wanted solid wood doors that are hung from the top instead of the typical bottom track. Redlands Door was able to find the hardware to accomplish this. They ordered the doors and had them painted to match our current color. Two bedrooms had double mirrored doors and the master had three plain doors. All are non-standard sizes, which made buying them from a Home Depot or Lowes impossible. As mentioned, Tim was very through and made sure everything was installed correctly. He found that there was some additional siding that needed to be added to be sure the doors closed with no gap. It was extra challenging as besides being non-standard, the wall are slightly off square. He also did a great job in cleaning up the area when done. I would not hesitate to recommend Redlands Door as well as call on them again.

Several of the windows in my home face due south. Although they were double pane, they had almost…read morezero insulation remaining after 25 years of massive sun. The temperature in the south facing bedroom on a hot 90 degree plus day would always be nine degrees hotter than the rest of the house. I decided to replace not only the four windows in the south facing bedroom, but six other windows that can be viewed in the same field of vision from the street, to keep the aesthetics consistent. The replacement windows I selected are double pane argon gas filled to help keep the heat out during the summer season. I put out a bid on Yelp and narrowed the field down to two companies, Note I did not select the least expensive bid, but actually selected the most expensive bid. My reasoning was a solid five star Yelp rating, BBB A+++ rating and the knowledge and excellent follow up provided by the salesperson, David White. Other factors in my decision were silver coating on the glass to reduce the intense green hue that most argon gas filled windows exhibit and exterior window casings that are solid without decorative ribs that would collect dirt. I was provided with a detailed explanation of the process and same day estimate. The process from start to finish took five weeks. This would have been as little as two weeks if I did not have an arch top window. Curved windows take longer to build, at least for Ameristar. It took me a while to prepare the two rooms, so I was not in a big hurry. The installation was done yesterday. The crew was on time, polite, and from my view, was extremely careful and exhibited excellent attention to detail. The 10 windows were installed in one day. The crew cleaned up their mess very well and everything went according to plan. I am completely satisfied with the entire process. The windows are very elegant looking, not so green and make the house look better. I trust that the temperature in the south facing bedroom will level out with the rest of the house with the argon gas in the windows. Five stars all the way. Well done.

The guy didnt even ask for the address to look up the account for the repair, immediately asked for pictures and immediately said he has no records of it being done! Immediately said it would fall out the same day not later. Well my boyfriend called from his phone to set up the appointment/order to get it done. So he literally already was not trying to do something about this from the beginning. Had my boyfriend call, he asked for pictures so we sent them, asked for the receipt of course sent all that, stated he would review them and call back. About a hour later we call back since he never called back to his paying customer, he once again said it would fall out the same day, that the warranty is past 30 days that it wouldn't have fallen out from there work. Rude as can be even called me "homie". Let me tell you, the screws they used were self tapping well supposed to be and yet they didnt lock into anything, there so tiny its insane! They used double sided foam and glue that it still wet to this day!! They refuse to fix it even though its not my fault this happened it was clearly the work this company provided. Now it has to be done by another company and paid for AGAIN!!! Also wanted a paper receipt but they dont give you one and by the way he says they wont do nothing without a paper reciept so watch out for this also! My experience:…read more So i reached out via yelp to andres and was replied to pretty quick. He was able to visit the following day to get measurements / estimate price. He was nice and explained everything. Plus gave suggestions... I gave a downpayment of 10% for everything to proceed. They then ordered it. Rough estimate would be 3-4 weeks for the entire process. They have a physical store in norco which was being run by Andres' wife. After 3 weeks or so give or take... i got a message that they were ready to install. Well within the time frame.... They informed me when they were on the way. They probably took roughly 2.5 hours. Lucas, Andres' son was present. Nothing was rushed and i saw how they handled everything... They can reuse your old door handle... but in my case, i bought a new one... just because. The price: It's pretty fair. It isn't cheap but you get what you paid for. For the peace of mind... ill do it again. Since i got a door replacement, everything was included. From removing the old one , to clean up, trash, installing... and thankfully.... the door i got doesn't need any paint. So it's pretty good. Threshold was top notch. And it seems water / insects wont be able to pop in. Will i choose to work with them again? Probably yes... Once i opt for a screen door... maybe in a couple more months once it gets a little bit cooler.
