I have never had an issue with any staff when I have shopped at the MoVal location. Everyone is so helpful. They have a lot of outfits in stock, and if your size is out, they will order online for you. Plus, they offer good suggestions on pieces that I might not even look at. read more

The staff at this location was very helpful. I was able to use my Torrid Cash and my birthday coupon very easily. I saved a lot of money. My only complaint was that a few of the things I wanted had a small selection of sizes. But there was a huge amount of merchandise in the clearance section. I would go there anytime. Shopping on the app was not fun, it wouldn't let me use a gift card and the merchandise I ordered didn't show up for almost a month! It was after the event I ordered it for. She makes me feel like a long time best friend because she remembers small details about me and always recommends pieces she knows I will love. The store is always kept very clean and organized. I'm still in the parking lot but I had to write this before I left. Woman named Francis this morning STALKED me the entire 15 minutes I was in there. I don't know if I look like a shoplifter or what but every 2.5 minutes on cue "can I help you find something?" "Can I get you a room?" "You doing okay?" Jesus god LEAVE ME ALONE This store is the smallest one I've ever seen to begin with and apparently they're upset if you take your time looking around. Glad I don't live anywhere near this store. I love Torrid! They always have such great things! I always go to the Torrid in Moreno Valley Mall and that work there are always friendly and welcoming. They always are helpful and make great suggestions. The store is always clean and organized and the displays always look fashionable. Normally I give Torrid a 5 stars for friendliness but over the weekend I went in shopping Sat 3/27 . And the girls who were at the counter ringing me up were not friendly at all . They had a very bad attitudes and just seemed like they didn't want to be at work, you can tell by body language. I asked a few questions about items I really wanted and they told me what ever is out on the floor . I just wished they could have called another store or recommend something similar in the store . Or even just been a little friendlier. A great reminder you know know what someone is going through so why not just be just a little nicer especially if your in the customer service field . read more

Great staff but the price is super expensive I always gotta wait for sales but even with sales it's still too pricey

I just had a baby & gained weight & chest size grew. I needed new bras for my new body & I went to Torrid thinking they have compassion for bigger women but I was wrong. I did buy 2 bras & spent over $100 but they ended up being extremely uncomfortable & it was stabbing my side. I wanted to return them... They would not let me return my bras because I already wore it. I'm sorry but me trying on a bra for 2 minutes in the dressing room does not compare to all day wear & for me to actually feel if it's comfortable for me. My body is still adjusting to its new norm & it's been a struggle for me. I've never had to shop bigger sizes before. I came to Torrid to help me feel somewhat normal again after having a baby. Something as simple as a comfortable bra makes you feel better. But now I have a scar on my side from tye bra stabbing me & creating a raw wound. I'm out $100 & I feel so guilty since I could have spent that on my baby. I wanted to do something nice for me but it really backfired & I'm really disappointed... read more

I just left this location and had the worst customer service ever! Fran was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to use my card so that I could purchase clothing. She tried blaiming my card when every store I've been to has NOT had an issue with swiping it. If it wasn't for the cash I had on me, I would have been refused service because didn't bother to offer any other payment methods. Last time I checked, other torrid locations were able to pay online orders with muy card information and my consent. I el be in contact with corporate due to the fact that I know I was over charged and she didn't even bother to count the cash in front of my face before asking me for more cash. This is all on camera, which I suggest should be looked at. read more

I hate the mall, when ever i need something i like to get in and out as fast as possible. I love coming here; first because i know everything will fit, 2nd the service is always great, when i need a size they always look stuff up for me or in the back. This is not only one of my favorite stores but this is one of my preferred locations. Kierra and her team have a great attitude and the energy is just wonderful. The only thing is that is get's really busy there and when it get's like that it's hard to get the service you're use to. It is good that they are busy. I think Torrid sometimes ask too much from the staff. You have one person running the register, getting product out, customer service, handling orders, phone calls, and other administrative things. I havent been to torrid in about 10 years. Kierra was really nice and helpful and she was definitely holding the store down she wasn't just standing there she was folding, cashing out, doing dressing rooms so I respect that about her work ethic. This is a good store. It's a little cramped, but the clothing is always well displayed and neat. The staff is almost always pleasant, cheerful and very helpful. I go here 3-4 times a month to shop. I will go out of my way to go to this store instead of Torrid in Tyler Mall, where I've always been disappointed in the selection and staff. The only bad thing I would say about Torrid is they are over-priced on lots of items, but the clothing quality has improved over the years. read more
