Cubana Torta, this has everything in it and it's huge

What can I say? This place was great. They have excellent variety of tortas in the bread is made on site. This thing was a good size. I normally can eat the whole thing but about 3/4 of the way I was stuffed ready to roll on home. Owner is very nice With great service tortas are big come with an appetite you will not be disappointed

We blinked and we missed it then we turned around and found it. It's in a weird spot in the shopping center and the GPS has you almost pass it if you're coming from I-35. I yelped a lunch location on the way to Austin. I was with my ex MIL who is from Mexico so she knows authentic Tortas when she eats one. This is the real deal. Lots of options too. 29 torta options plus other things. The sandwiches are huge and we could have split one but we didn't know. The lemonada is fresh and came in a huge cup. It might have been the highlight of the meal.

Service is terrific. The dining room is clean and friendly. Ordered 8. Chilanga. Sooo good.

Couldn't wait to eat it! Cuban Torta

We had the Cubin minus the chorizo and jalapeño and it was FANTASTIC. The homemade bread was my favorite part. We also ordered the Horchata and it is the best I have ever had! The owners were very very sweet!

The food was amazing! The potions are huge and at a great price. The service was fantastic. The lady that took our order was so nice and helpful. She gave suggestions. I ended up with the Zacatecana (grilled beef and chorizo)

Absolutely amazing and a must try. The size of the sandwiches are massive and don't forget to try one of the many drinks. Can't say enough about the flavors.

This restaurant is fantastic, and I could not recommend it enough. The staff is friendly, the food is hot, fresh, well-cooked, and delicious, and the homemade horchata is to die for. Get the Chilanga Torta or the Oaxaqueña Torta with the aforementioned horchata, and don't forget the chipotle paste. Keep businesses like these alive, because they deserve your money far more than any Tex-Mex chain in the Waco/Bellmead area. Such a hidden gem. Will be back... almost every week.

I come from Atlanta to Waco for work often and I make it my business to stop here every time! The food is mouth watering and the service is top tier!

Good prices, great tortas, lots of options and the kindest people running the place. One sandwich is lunch and dinner, huge serving.

Relatively simple and quite delicious. The bread was great. The cheese was great - I ordered it without meat and it was really nice.

Very good selection. I have really enjoyed everything I have tried. The sandwiches are made fresh and the hot items are grilled to order.

It kept dancing me between yelp and instagram and then updating the apps then logging in, etc hahah. I just wanted to search chicken bowl in Waco , and i failed Then typing club sandwich kept recommending places that sell club sandwiches. The food, vibe, and friendly owner make this run around worth it .

The man out front was friendly and we got to chatting about where he gets his ingredients; there aren't an Asian markets in the area so he has to drive a good distance to get stuff. I ended up getting the 'trash can' bowl with beef and maxed out on all the veggies. The portion was ok-a lot of rice a couple bits of protein with a squirt of the sriracha ranch which was 'totally mild' as advertised. If you think about the Magnolia siloes as an amusement park then I understand this place, you're paying a slight premium for something that's just ok because you're in an area designed to part you from your money while you're caught up in the atmopshere.

That's why I was genuinely disappointed to find out that the chicken Caesar sandwich has been removed from the menu. It might seem like a small change, but for regular customers like me, that sandwich was a standout item and one of the main reasons I kept coming back. It had a great balance of flavor and felt like a reliable go-to every time. Taking it off the menu without a comparable replacement feels like a missed opportunity and, honestly, a bit frustrating. I completely understand that menus evolve and restaurants need to make changes, but it would mean a lot to see fan-favorite items like this either return or be replaced with something similar. Milo's still has a lot going for it, which is why this change stands out even more. Hoping this feedback is taken in the spirit it's intended--supportive, but coming from a very disappointed regular.

In particular the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts caught my eye, unfortunately the latter was sold out so I went with the sweet potato Both dishes I had were really good! The candied bacon paired really nicely with the creamy deviled egg, the hot sauce vinaigrette didn't add too much flavor, but honestly adding a significant amount of heat would've probably taken away from an already very tasty dish. The baked sweet potato on the other hand had a nice dose of heat from the Calabrian honey vinaigrette, the sweet heat combo worked really, I'm surprised I'd never come across a spicy sweet potato dish before, but I'll definitely have my eye out for it in the future Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely be back for future rest stop meals between Austin and Dallas!
