Have you ever thought, "What I wouldn't give for a potato the size of a small watermelon that's covered in brisket, cheese, sausage links, and a rib?" Me either. But then I happened to stumble across Dos Mundos (Two Worlds) and the Big Papi plate and I suddenly had a desire to try this delectable monstrosity. With my wife and father along for the ride, we tried out three different, and amazing menu choices - me with the Big Papi, my wife with a baked potato covered in chopped chicken and chipotle ranch (yum!), and my dad doing the original with just brisket. The verdict? Home run on all three choices, with leftovers on top of full stomachs, and a desire to come back and try all the other combos - like the Bodacious with a chicken fried steak on top of a baked potato, or the Hot Wing with hot wings on top of a baked potato, or the Breakfast Spud with eggs and bacon (or chorizo or sausage) on top of a baked potato. Bottom line? Skip the usual boring choices of Wendy's or McDonald's and go get you a baked potato covered with more toppings than you ever imagined. Thank me later! read more

We ended up getting two spuds, one large and one small, and honestly they're both pretty big spuds (we could have just shared one large spud to be quite honest). A great small footprint potato place. The people are amazing and very friendly. We went in the late afternoon and there was one other family there. My wife and I split a large Hot Wing Spud and two cokes - was about 14$. The food came out in 5 minutes and was fresh and hot. They serve all meals in take out containers and a bag- they expect you to take some home. The potato was amazing and filled us both, though if I was hungry I could have eaten 3/4 s and I'm not a light eater. Will be back again to try the Big Papi and Big Bodacious. read more

Oh Wow!! I only have one regret about this place. I should have come sooner! I have driven by a million times and finally stopped by today. Absolutely delectable! They take a boring baked potato and turn it into a a fantastic culinary adventure!! I got the Big Papi smothered in melted cheese, chives, brisket and sausage. And it was huge! All I can say is WOW. I've been craving this type of food for years and let's just say living in Hawaii these past few years have left me hankering for some good Tex/Mex food. But not just any food. A nice good sized potato with some awesome fixings, i.e., ribs, sausage and brisket. It was ridiculously delicious (I ordered the Big Papi plate). I could seriously not stop stuffing my face. The plate is very generous and worth it's price. The owners are the friendliest ppl you'll ever meet and the atmosphere is loud and welcoming- perfect for my loud two year old who is currently enjoying using her voice. We went in off of a recommendation From my sister in law. When we got there about 6:30pm right before closing they had told us the had run out of bbq. A little disappointed but we understood because we were there so late. But we were assured that we would still find something great. I went with the Big Country, which is a spud with sour cream and butter along with an amazing chicken fried steak that is chopped up, very filling, bring your appetite if you getting the large. My wife had the hot link spud with a chopped up links and bbq sauce, very good. My kids had the Santa Fe which has bacon, cheese, butter and a grilled chicken with chipotle ranch sauce that is so delicious! The prices range depending on size of the spud, from $6.99 to about $12.99. The decor is simple but comfortable. Very friend and informative staff, I really recommend you try it out! First time here and finally made it after seeing all these delicious pictures on Facebook my wishes came true! I had the Latina spud size small and it's been almost two hours I'm still full. It was so good that chipotle ranch is so tasty the Southside fries were so good and can be customized to your style. What a surprise! The menu takes a bit of an explanation and the nice lady at the cash register accommodated beautifully. I had the chicken fried steak spud and it was remarkable.
