They also have a great variety of unique premium fruits that I haven't seen anywhere else, which makes every visit fun to try something new (to name a few- pink mango, pink cosmo blueberries, chinese bayberry & white sapote). If you stop by during strawberry season, don't miss their strawberries... they're some of the sweetest & best I've had in California. Also, thank you Ray for the excellent customer service. He was friendly, knowledgeable & took the time to answer all of my questions. Overall, it's a great place if you're looking for premium, high-quality fruit & a unique selection. I'll definitely be back!

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

There are lots of varieties of dried plums, prunes, and sugary coated hawthorne fruit. Along with that, there's the selections of dried beef, pork, and fish jerkies. Other dried items include taro chips and sweet potato chips. The back wall holds tubs with the "wet" fruits of mango and plums. And, a few tubs hold individually wrapped candies--sesame, butter, and other flavors. Don't worry if you don't know what you want, the ladies will pretty much let you try them all! With all the tubs of snacks, the only thing you have to do is point and tell them how much you want in a bag. It sells by the pound--ranging from $8 to $16 (meats are more expensive), a bit pricey. But it's definately a bigger and fresher selection than what you'd find in the isles of 99 ranch market. One thing to be aware of, even if you tell them you only want a pound, they tend to over fill it. And unless you specifically tell them you don't want it all, they'll just seal the bag and charge you (hence no five stars). But after you purchase it, they usually throw in a few extra of the individually wrapped candies in your bag. Overall, everything tastes pretty great --it totally depends on what you prefer (salty, sweet, sour, crunchy snacks)--they've got it all.

I believe it was about $12 a pound and true to Jenny's statement - they did over fill it. However, they asked me if it was ok or if I'd like to take some out. While appreciated I didn't really want to make her walk over and adjust the weight - especially since I'd have no trouble eating it all ^_^ This is a slightly smaller version of an identical store I used to visit in LA's Chinatown (I want to say off of Broadway) but for the life of me I can't remember the name!

It was nice to see certain items that I had not seen in so long. The store is a bit on the smaller side, but whichever way you look, there's something for everyone. Goods are a bit pricier than most, but not many places sell goods directly from Taiwan. As others mentioned, it was very clean and have a good selection. It's been ages since I visited Taiwan but I do remember all the good food! The shop is tidy and they manage to pack a lot of items in here while still making it feel uncluttered. Some items they had for sale when I was here were various high grade oolong teas, the Taiwanese version of Otter Pops, pineapple cakes and soy sauce. They have a frozen section in addition to their shelf stable foods with items such as fish and various dumplings. While the cashier spoke both Mandarin and English, the person giving out samples of oolong teas only spoke Mandarin (In hindsight I should have asked if she spoke Taiwanese too). I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area to get more goodies for myself and as gifts.

But if you park around the plaza, just walk to the front, and get to the center of the plaza square, then you will find the restaurant facing you. I went at lunch, not too many people, probably because it is new/not well known. I was able to easily order my food and find plenty of seating. Very convenient for moderate to large size parties I think. the staff members were very nice, and helpful. I ordered the Grilled Steak bowel and it was perfectly made, medium rare, although they did not ask me if I wanted medium rare (that is how I eat my steak). So if you want it more cooked, you probably want to specify it beforehand. The meat was well done and the veggies tasted fresh. The price was very reasonable as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this place for lunch. Would definitely go again! Parking is easy. Food was great! Staff was helpful and nice!

I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm, and my first impressions walking in was the interior is clean and pleasantly warm. I ordered the creamy mala seafood pasta since it was the most unique dish on the menu. Service was good but nothing special. Creamy mala seafood pasta, 2.5/5: The pasta was inoffensively average. There were some bites that were creamy and some bites that weren't. I honestly thought it could use more cream or butter to add some more richness. The pasta itself was al dente. There wasn't much flavor overall with the dish, and the mala was very mild (for reference, I can handle medium spice levels at other restaurants). The seafood quality was okay for the price. Overall, I thought the ambiance was really nice, but the pasta I ordered was average at best. Maybe I will give this place a 2nd chance and try something else.

I was in snack and tea heaven LOL. I ended up buying several bags each ranging from half a pound to one full pound. Funny, as I was trying to leave, I would see something else I like. I actually got 3 rounds of goodies and spent a good amount of moola for them. Quality goods come with a price. At the end of the day, it's all worth it. Cheers to good health!!! 1st round: - Pork jerky (yummy!) - Dried squid (decent) - Black sesame candy (amazing and can be addicting!) - Golden Green Tea (100 packs) (really solid green tea!) 2nd round: - Dried jujube aka Chinese red dates (very sweet and delicious!) - Dried logan (taste is a bit peculiar, but still okay) - Dried tofu (haven't opened the bag yet... will soon) 3rd round: - Six Flavor Herbal Grass Jelly Tea (very herbal and refreshing!) - Longan Red Date Jelly Tea (same as above) - Assam Black Tea Jelly (same as above) I had a wonderful visit. I learned a lot about the health benefits from eating certain dried fruits and drinking certain teas. Thank you Diane and Ling for your warm welcome and hospitality at your shop. I appreciate your help and service. I also enjoyed our nice conversation very much. I'll definitely return here for more goodies.
