I love this Tory Burch location. I've been here a few times and each time I have had a pleasant and comfortable experience. Most recently, I went in to purchase a pair of heels I had seen online. I called ahead to make sure they had my size in stock and the woman on the phone was very friendly and told me they would hold on to them for two days. The following day I was greeted at the door by Ellie F. and was offered a cold beverage which is always a nice touch. Ellie brought out the shoes I had previously called about. While I was there, I saw other styles that I liked and Ellie was helpful in bringing out various styles, colors and sizes to accommodate me. She was extremely friendly, patient and made this shopping experience an enjoyable one for me. I walked out of the store with a few pair of shoes and feeling like I had just shopped with a friend. I highly recommend this location to everyone. Never did I feel pushed about making a purchase. The location is small but it has a very good collection of merchandise and all of the associates I have encountered are friendly. read more

I stopped by on a Thursday night and there were two sales ladies, and one of them greeted me right away. Liked being welcomed without someone hovering over me, especially given how small this store is. That said, it had plenty to browse through and the sales associates offered just the right amount of help and advise when needed (even a drink!). This cute boutique, tucked away in a far corner of little w 12th, does not aim to attract mass crowds like the shops on Broadway do. Instead, Tory (or her interior designer) created a homely and personal environment for her customers. The carpeted boutique is divided into two main rooms, one of which you see as you walk in the store, with some clothes on the sides and shoes at the back. The other room is on your left, connected by a corridor, with more clothes and accessories. Interesting layout. It only took me 6 years of living in the city to realize that heels look good, heels are also for impressing others. Now I want to impress my feet, so I came to the store in search for some comfy flats, with a sprinkle of fashion ;) ok hopefully. I browsed the modest shoe selection and picked out a pair of snake skin Reva and a pair of golden flowery espadrille. The sales associates were not pushy but one of the them was conveniently next to me when I needed help. She had a british accent and answered any questions I had. When I wanted to switch colors, she was glad to bring out a few more pairs. When it was time to pay, she took my card (and my fnf coupon ) and disappeared into the curtains. Tory knows I don't like to see my card swiped! While there was a glitch with the payment, the sales associate was quick to rectify it. That was a week ago. It must have been a good shopping experience for me to add this business on Yelp and write about it. I had purchased a Robinson purse online from Tory Burch. The first week I used it the closure broke on the main flap. I decided I would take it into this store on Sunday August 18 since I had another errand to run nearby. Even though I did not purchase it from them and I did not have a receipt, they were very nice about it. The initial sales associate was very friendly while we waited for another associate or manager to come look at my purse. The associate who took over was Kathryn. She was great - very helpful, extremely nice. They did not have my purse in store, so they were going to send it out to see if it could be fixed and if not, order me a new one free of charge. She told me it would be 5 to 7 weeks since it was an online purchase. I told her it was not a problem. I received a call and email from Kathryn yesterday (Wednesday August 21) letting me know that they had a brand new replacement purse for me, and I could stop to pick it up at anytime. I picked it up last night while Kathryn was there. She had already checked, but we pulled it out of the bag to look it over anyway. It was perfect since it was brand new. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had a retailer. I would highly recommend this store. read more

I am a huge fan of Tory Burch and this store did not disappoint! The employees are all super nice and I love how there are comfy couches for the bf to sit. So, I have mixed feelings about this location. I've been in here a few times without make up and maybe dressed too "down" for anyone to pay attention to me. Excuse me, my money is just as good as the next persons, I just didn't think this store was worth an extra 30 mins of getting ready time. However, my purse broke and I took it to this location to get it fixed. They covered the cost and I had it back two weeks sooner than originally told. When I went to pick it up, the woman who helped me was very nice and I was in and out in 5 mins. I guess it depends on the people working at the time. read more

One of my favorite things about my favorite brand for accessories is that the employees are always very friendly and helpful. They seem to like their job and love their product. I've yet to have a bad experience in any of the four retail store locations I've encountered. That being said, this was the first location that offered me a beverage while I shopped. Greta service, beautiful shop, and amazing location! The store doors look like you're entering a secret palace. Once you open its full on Tory burch overload! A women's dream! They sell all the handbags, shoes, watches, and clothes that you find online. The ladies who work there are all super nice and professional! The purses are top notch quality! If you are willing to spend a bit it's worth the money. My favorite are the Fleming collection. The store also gift wraps your purchase free of charge if you would like. I finally had time last Sunday to pick up a pair of Tory Burch flats I had been eyeing, and I called ahead to make sure they were in stock at the Meatpacking location. The associate seemed friendly enough on the phone, and I looked forward to the experience. Wallet in hand, I excitedly entered the store, and from that moment on, this Tory Burch trip became a terrible shopping experience. There were four or five sales associates standing in the store, chit chatting with each other. When I walked in and smiled at the two closest to me, they paused for a moment to look at me out of the corner of their eyes, then went back to talking. Wow, that was really rude! Brushing it off my shoulders, I went straight for the shoes where two shoppers were trying on some flats. After browsing the shoe section for five minutes or so, while the sale associates stood chatting with each other, I found the flats I was looking for (which were disappointing in person) and tried to get the attention of the sales associates so I could finaly try them on. Surprise, surprise, same rude treatment. They saw me, shoe-in-hand and looking for a little help, then turned away and continued ignoring me. At that point I wondered how this store ever made a sale with such terrible service. Then two more shoppers walked in, long blond hair and dressed similarly as me, and multiple sales associates flocked to the door to greet them and ask if they could be helped. Seriously??? Why deliberately refuse to help me? Was it my clothes or my hair or the fact that I was not a classic blond American that determined I was not welcome at Tory Burch? I refuse to speculate, but the conclusion is this Tory Burch store had some of the most offensive customer service I've experienced and I certainly did not think any sales associate was deserving of commission from my purchase. So I left the store and made a mental note to Yelp it out. Fellow shoppers, don't let yourself be subject to this kind of terrible and prejudiced treatment. I received a Tory bag as a gift for Christmas. It was pretty but not my style so I needed to exchange it. I went to this location on my lunch break one day and was made to feel like a second class citizen. I was so uncomfortable the whole time I was there that I will never return. She, the pup and I stopped in to exchange a gift for size. The service is wonderful with seemingly more than one employee per patron. Each of us were treated royally, including our Cavalier (and most royal) King Charles Spaniel, who was warmly welcomed with biscuits and a bowl of water. We were offered champagne, beer and soda/water. The staff was very helpful in deciphering the best look/size for her and making the exchange seamless. Quality has gone down for wallet and handbag merchandise. The materials feel cheap and the items are hard to use. I have been a Tory Burch design fan since 2009. Store is clean and staff was nice and reasonably helpful. In the past 11 years the product design is as beautiful as I remember originally but the merchandise quality is terrible. Pretty bags, terrible quality now. I have purchased $20 handbags and wallets that were higher in quality with better quality materials from other brands. When Tory Burch asks for $300 to $600 for each handbag it may be tempting but when held the bags are of the cheapest quality, the zippers are hard to pull and get stuck easily. The bags are also heavy making it hard to put all of your belongings into them without hurting your hands and shoulders while carrying. I made the mistake of purchasing a wallet and a matching handbag in January 2020. The quality is terrible as compared to bags and wallets that I have purchased other years. Pretty to the eye and functionality gets an F for all handbags and wallets. read more

Wow, I'm impressed with the customer service at this location. I've been to all the Tory Burch stores in the city and this location has the best customer service by far compared with the other locations. I went to pick up a few items I have on hold and Alice, the rep who helped me was such an angel. Not only did she not care if I didn't want a particular item, she was just so courteous. I ended up buying a few more pairs than I had in mind but I didn't mind, because I can always return if I ever change my mind. I always get a sense of snob or feel that the associates were condescending whenever I visited both the Elizabeth street and the Madison Avenue stores. This location was just very down to earth! It also helps they almost always have my size! Definitely pay this location a visit if you are in the area! read more

I saw a pair of the Tory Burch Minnie flats online that I had to have. The only problem was that my size was sold out online. The Tory Burch Meatpacking District store was the only store near me that had the shoes in my size. I called the store one morning and spoke to Ellie. She was very friendly and helpful and agreed to put the shoes on hold for me. I later went to the store to pick up the shoes I had put on hold and ended up buying those, plus another pair. Ellie helped me while I was there and she was great. Kathryn was also very helpful and there was another Sales Associate with blonde hair that helped as well. They were very nice and welcoming while I was in the store. Ellie also helped me find a Tory Burch tunic I had been wanting to see and try on. Overall, the sales staff at this location is very helpful and welcoming and I would definitely come here to shop again. This location is also in a very nice part of town with other cute shops. read more

This one star is for all Tory Burch locations in NYC. They never updated their hours for the holidays online or on their phone service. Are they open or are they closed? You'll never know. I called outside the closed store at 5pm and the answering machine said they were still open until 7pm. I saw plenty of other people confused as they tried to open the locked doors.
