    Beef fajita quesadilla
    Ashley B.

I shouldve known something wasn't right when i didnt smell the aroma of the food upon opening the door! I ordered the beef fajita quesadilla and it came with a qaucamole salad and some beans to my liking! How did it taste you ask????The meat had nerves all through it,Which made it impossible to enjoy. The qaucamole had no taste and to top it all off.....I had to dump all kinds of salsa on the expensive plate of food,Which was by the way $9.50.The cashier gave me a cup not sure if it came with the meal or not and told me to make myself a drink.I was thirsty after consuming such tough meat! I tried the horchata which is a rice drink and i could taste lilttle grits of rice or some coursely chopped ingredients which scratched my throat.....Overall this place needs a reality check asap!!!

If you are looking for heavy greasy and fry Tex-Mex food this is not the place. The family own small mom and pop store is hidden in the corner of little shopping center. The kitchen usually is run two to three people and the speed of service is not fast like McDonald but the food is amazing. The beef fajita is flavourite just right, the rice and beans were not too salty at all. I am used to the greasy and full of salt Tex-Mex here in Texas. This is really a nice change of the pace. It almost got the home made cooking feel to it , it almost like the meals my Latin American friends make at their home. The taste is hard to describe but definitely different. The ambient is a counter service, the menu is posted on the wall above the register, you ordered the food then they call you when it is ready. Their breakfast tacos are amazing, there are plenty of rooms to sit and take a break from your daily routine. The people there are always nice and the food are fresh and delicious.

What a great find! Just had their beef quesadillas and they are great. Nice folks also! Fresh made flour tortillas too! They have a bunch of homemade sauces that I need to try next when I go back. This place is hidden and you would pass it if you driving down Clay Road.

    a plate of food

I've waited over two years to try this place because 1. They have a great Instagram page. 2. I never am on the side of town. I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I appreciate that the rice was well seasoned but not too oily and overcooked. I really like the broth soup that accompanies the dish and the tostada was perfect!! They put enough chicken in their tostadas and the toppings are excellent. I really like their salsa saw well. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Excellent place for Mexican food on the go or in the restaurant. First time here and very happy we tried it. We happened to be in the area for my daughter's soccer game and saw it as we drove by. All three of us enjoyed our selections and we are quite picky about our Mexican food! Will definitely come back again.

The best tacos I have ever had. Their green spicy salsa was the best. Their lunch crispy tacos are good too. Must try!

    Roach on the wall

First time here, not coming back. I ordered the menudo, and compared to other places they just don't put much except for broth in this. Also, I had a surprise breakfast guest.... a roach on the wall where I was eating.

This place has become sort of my morning go-to taco spot. I can call my order in down the street and about time I get there it's already ready which I like. I've tried a variety of their breakfast tacos and the fajita is my favorite one so far, followed by the potato and egg. They have a small open salsa bar( think taco cabana but on a much smaller scale) that's self-serving and have a decent variety of salsa to choose from plus pico de gallo. Service is always great here. I'm not only greeted by the cashier but by everyone behind the counter. Service like that is always a plus in my book. Only downfall for me is that sometime the flour tortillas can have hard edges. I usually just rip the hard edge off and continue grubbing. Lol

    Tostada madero classico yum!!

The chicken soup is delicious the tostada classico was good but it was just a little bland I expected more flavor. The hot sauce added the flavor which was really good. The flavor water was the best lemonade, jamaica and tamarind flavor were really good too.

One beef, one pork, both good. Damn good!

First time here. Very clean, friendly plesent staff. Got the carnitas I belive (sandwich). One pork, one beef fajita. I prefered the beef but both very good. Lettuce, beans, avocado, cheese and their sauces and pico. Will definately bookmark this place to try some of their other meals.

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!

I would definitely recommend making a reservation, as it can get pretty busy, especially during Saturday lunch. There is also plenty of parking available across the street. It is clear that there was care and attention behind each menu item. Also, the pace of the food being brought out was evenly paced, which I appreciate, and our server gave us just the right amount of attentiveness. We celebrated my husband's birthday here, and they sent out a tres leches with a candle on it. Very kind and very delicious dessert. Usually not a big fan of tres leches, but this one was not overwhelmingly soaked in condensed milk, and it has a very fresh tasting peach (seasonal) puree drizzled on top. The experience started poorly with the valet attendants, whom we found to be rude, dismissive, and very unprofessional. It was such an unpleasant first impression that my wife and I mentioned it to the hostess when we went inside. Unfortunately, things did not improve. The hostess seemed completely unconcerned about our experience and simply informed us that the wait for a table was approximately two hours. While deciding whether our party should wait or go elsewhere, I went to the bar to order a drink. After ordering, the bartender told me that if I was only having a drink, I needed to move. Apparently, sitting at the bar required ordering a meal. At that point, we had experienced enough. Between the unpleasant valet experience, the indifferent response at the hostess stand, the two-hour wait, and then being told I couldn't sit at the bar simply to have a drink while we decided what to do, the overall message was clear: we did not feel welcome here. My wife, the rest of our party, and I decided to leave and have dinner elsewhere. A busy restaurant is understandable. A long wait is understandable. What is much harder to understand is making prospective customers feel unwelcome at nearly every point of contact. Needless to say, this was an exceptionally disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.
