Avoid this business. I was quoted a range of $85-$120 to open a door that I had been locked out of. I was told that the final price was dependent on how long it took to open the door-- fair enough. The guy who showed up (Kyle) was very skilled and was able to open the door within 10 seconds (yes, actually 10 seconds) by using a piece of plastic. He then told me that the price was $120. I told him that this was patently unfair because I was told by the owner that the price range was based on how long it took to open the door-- and in my situation, it only took 10 seconds to open the door? How can you charge the high end of the estimate for only 10 seconds of work? He just laughed and said "well, would you have wanted me to have taken LONGER?" I told him, "um, that's really not the point!" He then said he would lower the price to $100 if I paid him in cash. Shady. I paid him in cash because I felt I had no choice at that point. As I was paying him, I told him that it was unfair what he and his company were doing-- as I was speaking to him, he interrupted me, laughed at me and then walked away. I then called the owner, who made no attempt to apologize for his employee's behavior, and simply said "well, he opened you door, didn't he?" He then told me that by paying his employee, I had AGREED on the price, so what was my problem? #shady read more

I thought it was a joke or mistake and said it should be no more than $100. I told him that's what the WEBSITE said. He got mad and argued with me and walked away. These guys are the best! Hands down. I had an employee leave the company with a set of keys and I thought I needed my office locks replaced so they could not use the keys they had. Lauri was out there in a hurry and informed that rather than new locks which would have cost a considerable amount he suggested he "Re-Key" the locks. He assured me there would be no way the old keys would work and that it was basically a new lock inside the same case. He made sure my employees and I all tested each lock through out the building to be sure our old keys would not work. I called these guys at the last second when I lost my car-keys. Luckily, I didn't get jerked around at all! They sent someone out to my location immediately, which was super-cool. I don't have a spare key for my car so I figured I would ask them to make me two keys while he was here, which he did. The worker was real friendly and knowledgeable and did the job pretty fast, actually. In about 45 minutes I had two new keys for my car! I called to ask how long it takes to copy a key and after describing it as a car key, the lady on the phone started yelling at me how they don't do car keys, they don't have blanks, car keys void warranties, new technology, blah-blah-blah. I wasn't even aggressive, I just asked, and got a mouth full for it. She was still yelling so I just had to hang up. Maybe they copy house keys, just don't try to bring a car key here or even ask about it... *UPDATE: For the yelp users, since the owner is again trying to pin the blame on me in her response, I asked only once. She is correct she did try to explain why she doesn't do car keys 4 different times in an aggressive manner, when I only asked once. If you go down the reviews, there are plenty of other low ratings based on similar experiences of rude customer service.
