Randall Dyk, I don't know where my kids would be right now. It makes me shudder to think about it. He goes above and beyond to help work with us as a team. His respect and deep caring for my boys is always so evident. He does volunteer work in Africa yearly. My son wanted to see a real elephant. Dr. Dyk went out of his way to bring in a pic of an elephant and keep it at his desk until my son came in. That was weeks later. That's the thoughtfulness we receive there. The nurses are always kind and patient. They don't force anything on my boys which would have catastrophic consequences. They trust this office and remember everyone. With an autistic child that is everything. My children have been in critical condition twice each. I never questioned follow up care with this facility.

It made the whole interaction feel awkward and unprofessional, and it actually heightened my anxiety to the point where I started stuttering while trying to answer questions. When I was finally seen, the experience didn't improve much. The nurse practitioner seemed genuinely confused about my medication allergies. Even after I clearly explained my reactions and history, she still appeared unsure and kind of just blanked out instead of addressing it confidently. That was honestly the most concerning part, because I didn't feel safe or reassured discussing my health. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, uncomfortable, and lacking in clear communication. I understand that mistakes happen, but in a healthcare setting, especially when discussing allergies and medical history, there needs to be more confidence, clarity, and professionalism. I left feeling more anxious than when I walked in, which shouldn't be the case after a medical visit.

Dr. Pierson was kind, and explained things well during my first few visits to his office. Surgery…read moreday things changed. He did not speak with my spouse after surgery in the hospital, staff did not have the details. they told us to call his office the next morning To get proper discharge instructions. Was not able to get the pain meds that he prescribed as he wrote them for the incorrect mg. this caused extra pain for a day and a half after surgery until I was able to get the correct script. due to computers being down, no one could tell me what he removed during my surgery and it took him 3 days to return the call. His office reached out to him several times. when he did call me he never apologized. Follow up appointment was 2 1/2 weeks later and I was telling him I had pains in certain areas and he told me he had no idea what that was Because I should be fine. I went to my regular doctor a few days later and he said I likely had a kidney infection from the catheter during surgery and my surgeon should have caught that at the follow up based on my symptoms. UTI got so much worse affecting my kidneys due Dr. Pierson not Believing my pain. disappointed because I really initially felt I was getting the right care. Surgery is not routine for the person going through it like it is for the doctor and I was not treated well.
