Michael worked on my pool in the beginning of the year. We needed our plaster refinished and new tiles. I went through multiple bids and Michael was straightforward and didn't give me a go-around like other companies, which is much appreciated. We wanted to add a few more adjustments to our pool. We added an underground water filler as well as a wet deck. He started in March and finished in beginning of May. There was things that needed to be shipped and weather constraints to where it took longer but I was totally okay with the time frame. Everything turned out beautiful. Michael Hanley of Total Tile and Pool Restoration is an extremely professional, honest, hard working pool repair wizard extraordinaire! I am beyond grateful I chose him after getting several bids from competitors. My pool was losing large volumes of water...leak detectors came and determined I had the dreaded underdeck leak in my vacuum return line...every pool owner's nightmare. I contacted Michael and he came out shortly thereafter to discuss multiple repair options and provide a quote. He spent a great deal of time going over the repair process and what was best for my pool and budget. Repair involved draining the pool and going through the interior pool wall to replace the faulty pipe. He was also tasked with filling in deck excavation made by leak detectors, then grinding down and retexturing those sections to achieve the most pleasing match with my existing decking. Because he is a pool restoration specialist and my pool was being drained anyway, I chose to have him acid wash my drained pool, bead blast the tile, re-grout the entire pool and jacuzzi, and paint all my decking. I am now the proud owner of a fully refurbished and refreshed leak-free pool....it looks brand new!! Michael and Arturo worked efficiently and productively throughout the process...they were extremely neat and minimized excess dust in my yard. When the work was complete Michael went the extra mile to remove all the dust from my patio and surrounding areas. We cannot be happier with TT&P. Like seriously. Michael was a great communicator and good craftsman and hard worker. The project took longer than expected... but don't they always? We had the bad leak under spa found and fixed... no thanks to Desert Springs (beware)... it was a mystery for a while... and then new plaster and a wet deck put in. Best idea ever that wet deck. Michael Hanley and his team resurfaced our pool & spa, replaced all tile, added stone & a gorgeous water feature, and resurfaced & painted the deck. They did a great job on what, for me, was a pretty major undertaking. What made it pleasant was Michael's honesty, reliability, consistent communication, humility and pride in the work. He really 'owned' the project from start to finish! His attention to detail was remarkable and he went way above and beyond by addressing ancillary issues he didn't need to -- ie.- cleaning filters and generally improving overall functioning of pool system. And, when issues came up, which is inevitable -- ie.- delays, supply chain problems, a mistake made by his team -- he was candid and owned it, which I appreciated tremendously. This company should get a ZERO star rating. Made an appointment and stayed home from work to get a pool remodel quote and they never showed up or called. Tried calling numerous times and all I got was Michael's voicemail. He never returned any of my calls. Horrible customer service. If they can not even show up for an appointment or give a call as to why they did not make it I would not trust them doing a major remodel on my pool. STAY AWAY. Michael was the first to respond to my queries to three different pool services. He showed up early to check out our pool. He was incredibly knowledgable and assessed my pool and came up with a total fair estimate within a few hours of our assessment. We immediately accepted. Michael showed up on time and was incredibly thoughtful and courteous throughout. His attention to detail is indicative of the fact that this is his reputation that is on the line. Bottom line, my pool is like new and the results far exceeded my expectations. He is an incredibly hard worker who will do whatever it takes to make sure you are more than pleased. Very poor, irresponsible service. I paid for a new pool and spa light and later found that it wasn't screwed in properly and the lights keep going off and has to be reset. Called and text Michael and he won't respond. My pool guy is more concerned about the botched job and was trying to fix it. I would think the proper screws came with the light casings since it cost me $500! read more

Highly recommend, Jerry and mike retiled, plastered and made my falling apart pool look new with awesome rock that matched my existing rock perfectly in ten days. Couldn't be happier. Exceeded my expectations by far with their attention to detail and service. Another 5 stars for Eddie and Keith for finishing my patio and matching my existing rock so good you'd never know it wasn't always there, love it. Wouldn't use anyone else for my pool or patio needs. We would highly recommend Total Tile and Pool. Michael was excellent with communicating with us and following through on all levels. Throughout the process, they maintained a high standard for detail, such as maintaining straight grout lines, fixing our lights, and even re-painting my deck along the pool line where we had missed. I don't want to be redundant, so take a look at Kit L's review. I completely agree with her 100%. But to just add a few things. I can't tell you how hard it is to find someone who is honest, dependable and takes pride in his/her work. Well, Michael of Total Tile is all that and more. If it is possible to give 6 stars I would do it. We had a severe pool issue that our previous pool service caused and they royally messed up the pool. The chemistry was WAY off and it required a draining and refill of the pool as well as a bead blasting of the tile. Not only was this service performed above my level of expectations, I was impressed that Michael took the time to check the weather report to see when it would be cool enough to drain the pool without the heat damaging the plaster. He picked a day that was cool enough to safely do this. I honestly believe that if we were in June, July or August, he would not have drained the pool. Again . . .Honesty, Integrity, Professional, Hard-Working and Dependable. . . oh and I left out that he keeps you informed of the progress and is very fair with his pricing given the level of quality and service.
