Went on a booze cruise with the wife. This store is fantastic. Not only do they have an amazing assortment of every type of alcohol but they also give out sample tastings. Of course I found a new scotch due to the tasting that was smooth and affordable. The staff goes out of their way to help you and is always friendly. They also make great suggestions. There is nothing not to love about this store. When you need to get some adult beverages, I'd highly recommend it.

    Happy Dad seltzers.

"I'm at that stage in life where I stay out of discussions. Even if you say 1+1=5. You're right, have fun." ― Keanu Reeves Get some booze in me though and let's talk. What's there not to love at Total Wine? They have an app, they have curbside delivery, and they carry so sooo much booze! Both the staff and the patrons are friendly here. Their selection of hard seltzers is great. More than once have I picked up something by whim because they have so many cool items. And the items at the check-out lane will truly have you grabbing items off the shelf before checking out. So why not five-stars? The organization in here can make it hard to locate some things. Why are hard seltzers in two different areas? Why!? If I ever go missing, I want my picture on a wine bottle instead of a milk carton. This way my friends will know I am missing.

Great selection of adult beverages. However, the staff is rude and overly spastic. They're obsessed on ID'ing anyone they lay eyes on, even people who look OBVIOUSLY over 21. I understand it, they don't want to sell to underage people, but they're paranoid and this totally holds up the checking out process, and makes people feel uncomfortable. I'm confused why grocery stores also sell alcohol, and don't do any of this stuff? They just politely ask for ID at checkout, if they even do that.

This is one of the absolute worst experiences I've ever encountered. I was checking out at cash with a bottle of E.H. TAYLOR. The cashier scanned the bottle and asked me how I was paying, I said credit card and she said okay go ahead... Just wait and hear what happened next... I inserted my credit card and the cashier picked up a call on her headset from the store manager. At this time my credit card is in the machine and I'm attempting to pay, the store manager walks over and grabs the bottle and says we can't sell you this and walks away with the bottle. I am left feeling like a criminal, in an extremely embarrassing situation. So poorly handled, the absolute worst.

I have been eating at nearby Joe's Farm Grill for years and have not made the time to walk over here. You can't miss Barnone because they are housed in a Quonset hut made of steel. Inside of Barnone is a salon, machinist, printmaker and other services. They had an evening artisan fair going on when I stopped in. I love seeing other people's creativity and was impressed by the products that were being showcased by many of the artists. Barnone also has a few restaurants. Fire & Brimstone, 12 West Brewing, Garage-East and Uprooted Kitchen are just some of the places to grab a bite or drink. It is really cool to see how much this area has grown and expanded over the years. I still enjoy getting a coffee at The Coffee Shop and going for a walk at Agritopia Farm. They've got everything from barbecuing essentials and specialty seasonings to bold hot sauces and even a cold beer to enjoy while you shop. And then you make your way to that beautiful deli counter. They also have 'cuts' of bone for your furry friends. We grabbed a bone for our dog and can't wait for him to enjoy it! Von Hanson's isn't just a deli... it's a place for anyone (new to grilling or professionals) who wants to enjoy quality meat and find whatever they need to cook it!

Unfortunately, when I got home, the steaks varied significantly in size, and one was clearly not a center-cut filet. It was disappointing, especially since I was preparing a special meal on short notice. Update to my original review: After reflecting on my experience, I realized my original review didn't fully represent the business. From the moment I walked in, everyone was as friendly and welcoming as they have been during my previous visits. The staff was also very helpful in recommending some of their prepared side dishes, including the mac and cheese, twice-baked potatoes, and potato skins. They even provided cooking suggestions for both the air fryer and grill, which were appreciated. Although I was frustrated with how the filets were cut, I have to say the quality of the meat itself was excellent. The filets were incredibly tender, full of flavor, and everyone enjoyed them. The sides were also a big hit with our guests, especially the potato skins. I also want to recognize their outstanding customer service. The owner responded to my review promptly, and the store manager called me first thing the following morning to discuss my experience and make things right. That level of responsiveness and genuine care for their customers is becoming increasingly rare and deserves recognition. While my initial experience with the butcher counter was disappointing, I appreciate how seriously they took my feedback and their commitment to customer satisfaction. Because of that, I'll gladly continue shopping here and look forward to seeing the same high standards reflected in future visits.
