Came here opening day. I have always been a fan of Total Wine (TW) due to their selection, prices, and helpful yet no pressure selling. What I dig the most though is being able to find some really difficult beer/spirits that I normally can't get in other warehouses. On opening day, I was able to find a 4 pk of KBS here. It's normally hard to find and even if you found one, there would be maybe 4 at the most in all locations. Happy camper I am. I also picked up a couple Sucaba from Firestone Walker and Knuckle Sandwich from Bootleggers. I spotted some beers from Epic Brewing which I was in Denver the past weekend. Prices were exactly the same to that of the brewery for same bottles! I did talk to the wine manager there. The friendly lad pointed me to his wive's favorite bourbon 1792 bourbon, which I bought one. I haven't open it yet but will soon. There wasn't as big of a selection of Spanish Wines or Tempranillos as I liked. Thus I ended up not buying wines, must mostly spirits and beer. Oh, I did buy a small bottle of Fernet here for around $16, gotta love that for all you industry folks. I ended up spending over $100 easy. Parking is in the rear or on the street. Plenty of parking available since it's near by Target/Vroman. BTW This shop seems small but it's decent size. It runs more vertically than horizontally. read more

I've been going to this Total Wines store for a couple of years now and it is my favorite place to shop. I can research, look, ask questions and make an informed decision. Their people on the floor are always asking if help is needed, it is refreshing. The app is great as well if I need to look up pricing or view if the particular spirit is in stock. read more

Total Wine & More newly opened last Thursday. Customers that visited this new store Thursday through Sunday were given 1 free reusable bags (carries up to 6 bottles) with coupons that includes up to 2 people to check out 1 free wine tasting class. This Total Wine & More took over the old Office Max, in the same plaza as Vroman's Bookstore, with its own parking lot. Target is right across the street as well. My husband and I came last Saturday evening, before 7:15 pm. I was surprised that it was not crowded and that we were still able to get a reusable bag with coupons (there was plenty available) when we first came in. The few employees that were on the floor while we were browsing aisles, were friendly and asked us if we needed help finding anything. Total Wine & More is very similar to BevMo, offering wine tasting in the middle of the store during specific times/ days, providing a variety of choices of wine, beer, spirits, nonalcoholic beverages and beverage related accessories and snacks. Upon entering the store (if you parked in the back lot and entered from this side of the store), the left side of the store is where you will find wine and champagne. On the right side of the store is where you will find beer, hard root beers/ ciders, spirits, nonalcoholic beverages and snacks (all in it's own aisles). There are some very cute drink accessories throughout aisles that includes pet related wine charms, animal bottle openers, dog wine drink holders, etc (I am such a sucker for animal themed items, especially if it is a dog). There are 2 checkout areas in the store, both at the front and back of the store. There is free WiFi available while you browse and shop. There is a clean ladies restroom available by the beer section. Our shopping experience was pleasant and plan on coming back for future alcohol beverage needs. Super large selection and great/knowledgeable employees! I went in to Total Wine & More after not being able to find what I was looking at elsewhere and the whisky associate was super helpful and knowledgeable in what I was looking for! I was looking for a specific bottle of Aberfeldy that I was recommended and the associate knew exactly where the bottle was and also gave me some tips to get the most out of the flavor when tasting it. She explained the notes I should be tasting and as crazy as it is to say, it was spot on when I went home and lasted it later! Extremely impressed by the knowledge and politeness of the associate who helped me, the organization of the store and the extreme selection of all different styles of spirits that I could find elsewhere. read more

One time, I went to the store with my cousin and sibling, and multiple employees kept asking if we needed help while we were browsing. When I finally asked about a type of alcohol, they unexpectedly requested our ID--something they had never done before. It's important to mention that my cousin and sibling look Latino. We ended up having to leave because my brother was 20 and not yet 21. However, I've seen high school students there with their parents who were allowed to stay. If you were to ask me what my favorite stores have been to shop at during this pandemic, I have no shame in saying Total Wine & More is one of my top 3 choices. Heaven does exist and it's loaded with clanging bottles of liquor, spirits, wine and so much more! I was on a quest to collect some alcoholic gems to stock my home bar area. I usually go to Bev-shhh but decided to check out Total Wine & More and I AM SO HAPPY I DID! I am not sure how the other locations are, but the Pasadena location is stocked with everything you could ever want (in alcohol) and in every size you could probably think of. The selection is almost unbeatable. They sell a variety of 375ml bottles of liquors and spirits. The place even sells large buckets of baked cheddar cheese balls! First impression here for my friends who have never visited here is: Imagine a super center Walmart store size. This place is half of that size and all liquors and wines and accessories ... The prices are the cheapest I have ever came across.. Anything you can find in google, you will be able to find at this store! Absinthe ! Yes the Green magic... Any kind of unique and old wines or whiskey or cheap,domestic or imported beers to very expensive ones domestic or imported.. They have Wine tasting that I do recommend for wine lovers to attend every weekend. If can't find anything in store you sure can find it on their app (online) warehouse of total wine. Cool thing about using app is not shopping online. Its basically you can see reviews ,deals and recommendations. So don't make a huge confusion for your self and avoid it by using their app. I shop usually at the store but I use app for ratings .. Highly recommended . Parking is from backside across Target . So. I have been TW Grand Reserve for 3 years now, but I'm thinking of no longer shopping there. I admit they have a food selection and (generally) good prices. The problem is that I can't trust the in store recommendations from staff. I recently made a large purchase in store. I was shopping for some Japanese whiskey and was convinced by an associate to buy a different one. A "Spirits Direct" one - part of TWs house brands. This bottle cost $75. It might as well be paint thinner. I poured the rest of my glass down the drain. I was going to pour out the rest, but I'm going to keep it to pull out at a tasting party to prove how bad a $75 bottle can be. This is the second time I've been pointed to a Spirits Direct whiskey that was just absolute swill unfit for human consumption. Total Wine instructs employees to push these house brands. Pushing overpriced trash on a loyal customer who has four figures in the shopping cart already is just low. If I go back, I will no longer take associate recommendations. It's not the employees' fault. This is fault of TW corporate and managers. read more

Rude staff/manager or whatever named Jene. Is it a policy to be rude and snarky? If so, she is right on the money. If you're a person color then don't come here, they seem to have a system to stalk customers of other ethnic backgrounds other than Caucasian and it's very obvious. Most of the negative reviews are literally about this one employee. In this day and age I guess racism is alive and well. It's a liquor store and to be subjected to this kind of behavior from a staff member is just disgusting. I don't care how many stores you have or what little title you have on your name tag ,this is just blatant racism. I was in there with my girlfriend who is African-American and I'm white, she went ahead and went to a different aisle so we could save time. She came up to me and told me that she felt uncomfortable and I noticed staff looking at her and pretended to just "roam the aisle" but didn't bother following me. When we went to pay this manager looked at us like we did something wrong and gave my girlfriend a nasty look. Just nasty. Nothing more to say, shame on you. I will never be back. read more

I'm here to express my full satisfaction with this place owing to Matthew the customer service representative! I am going to throw a farewell party with nearly 50 guests and I had no idea how many bottles, what type, and what brands of liquor and beer I had to get to serve these people. Last week we came to this store to get all the alcohol we need for our event. Matthew walked us through the whole process from A to Z and spent nearly an hour with us describing every type of liquor that might have been of interest to me and was good to serve my purpose (either to take it as a shot or make cocktail). I even had him go with us back and forth to the same isle several times to answer my questions and help me choose a bottle of liquor, but he patiently accompanied us and answered every single question about every type of alcohol until we picked all we needed and happily left the store. He never attended to another customer while serving us, and I'm pretty sure without him we would've spent at least another hour to figure out what we needed to buy for our party. The only Total Wine location in the area. Large parking lot in the back. Inside is huge. It seems like selection is a lot bigger then BevMo. Their selection is so big, walking the aisles is pretty overwhelming. They have stock check online. Prices are a little bit cheaper then BevMo for scotch and whiskey. I love these guys! Always so friendly and helpful. I came into the store almost weekly but had to curtail that because of COVID-19. During the pandemic I wasn't able to go out much as I am at high risk so I ordered delivery frequently. Their service was always prompt and accurate. On those rare occasions when they didn't have something I ordered, they always called to see what they could do to fill my needs. One time I ordered a case of wine and their delivery driver disappeared. When I called the store, they connected me to their store manager, David, who refilled my order and personally delivered my order within 30 minutes! I was in the beer aisle, a young man named Matthew Macias was briskly walking by, I stopped him and asked him if he was on duty. He said kindly, "what can I do for you?" I asked him if he could put 4 12 packs of Amstel in cart, he did it with a smile. When I told the two young ladies at the register that he was so kind, they told me he was off the clock and heading out. That is a fabulous employee!!! read more

As someone starting their new collection of wines and spirits, this place is a dream come true... This is one of Total Wine's newest locations and it really dresses to impress. The sections of the store are very well split, and products are displayed with great care and glamor. The staff was very friendly on the multiple occasions I visited, and was happy to help regardless if I kept asking questions without picking anything up. I specifically asked about the tasting room that was available for rent, and they had some great information about renting the room for a private event and receiving a complimentary wine tasting! Bought a keg of Racer 5 IPA and it was almost $50 less then what BevMo wanted. The store layout is also amazing. I love beer and they have everything from non alcoholic to IPA's. Came here for the wine class on a Saturday - unpretentious wine pairings and snacks. They conduct the class at the back in a nice airy room. They provide you with a bottle of water and meats and cheeses and fruit as well. It's a great deal for $20. Both Juan and David were phenomenal! They were both very knowledgeable and provided different perspectives to the same bottle of wine. Tastings Were generous. I learnt so much. This place is near the Vroman's Bookstore and the Target. They have a small parking lot behind the store. We entered the store from the parking lot side. As their name says, they have a ton of wine to choose from. In addition, they have tasting counters where you can try drinks. Towards the center of the store is the liquor selection. The more expensive ones are locked up behind glass displays. We decided to purchase one of the whiskey ryes since they mentioned there was a rebate. As we were browsing, a staff member came by to ask if we had any questions or if we needed assistance. Check out was fast and easy. The staff asked to see ID before we were allowed to purchase our drinks. If you didn't bring a bag, you can purchase a paper bag from them for 10 cents. Although the drink that we purchase mentioned a rebate, the staff member did not know anything about it. When we mentioned it to her, she called in another staff member to assist us. He found us the rebate form that we needed to submit. Overall, it was a good experience. The staff was helpful and friendly. It would have been nice that they were more informed about the current deals they had on their products. read more

Went into the Pasadena Store today to purchase some white wine for the holiday weekend. I have to say I like wine but am by no means a wine connoisseur. Came here today for the first time. Spent about $40 and got some nice things. It's really no different than bevmo. Except for the threatening signs over each register saying "we arrest minors." Excuse me? Do you really think minors are trying to score booze at Total Wine? These signs are rude and unnecessary and I don't need to spend my money at someplace that puts up gross signs like this. We all know the law. They know the law. Minors know the law. Is Total Wine in love with cops and Trump? Do they like to roll with authoritarianism. Because that's how it sounds.
