I had full access to my file and could see pleadings and documents as they were added, so I never felt in the dark. When I wanted to speak with my attorney, I scheduled a call using the provided system--and I received the call exactly when scheduled. That process worked as explained. Pricing was also clearly laid out in the client fee agreement. The reality is that legal advice takes time, and time is what you're paying for. Emails and phone calls are not casual conversations--they involve legal analysis and responsibility. I understood that when I signed up. Based on my experience, complaints about "lack of communication" often seem to come from people who did not follow the firm's clearly stated procedures or who expected free, unlimited access to an attorney. I came in for a driver seat replace, lean back panel and headliner. The biggest issue I have is little if anything is in writing. I was quoted a price for the seat and lean back and when I took the car in I was told we never talked about the lean back and it would be another $200 for that. I like Cal. He's super nice. But this is about money ultimately. He is cheaper than other places but if I'm quoted one price I wld like to stay with that and not strain relations. If you come here. On their initial visit, the tech told us how to reset our side slide which was experiencing uneven movement and sticking. They also set an appointment for the following week to repair or our furnace. They showed up early for the repair and it wound up being $200 less than the original quote. They removed the furnace and cleaned out the mess left by dirt daubers (thanks previous owner!), then reinstalled and made sure the screen was in place to prevent future problems. Very professional and reliable!! We were impressed!
