Once they started with the Adapt Health affiliation they have just been awful. I got my cpap in sandwich about 6 years ago and they were great. Now, I call them today because I am having problems with my machine and they said "someone will call you back to make an appointment for you" stugotz. I also told the CR that i read on the site I re-order my supplies from that I am eligible for a machine replacement after 5 years. She told "yes, but we need a letter from your doctor". For what???? You KNOW i am still using it because i fill out the questionnaire before I order my supplies. I dont have a pulmonary dr, my gp referred me for a sleep study direct with Cape Medical. What the hell do i need a note from my doctor for?? to say i still need it??? Or, maybe I decided when I woke up this morning that I had a good scam in mind. Ask for a replacement machine and then what, sell it on the black market??? Wish I had another choice but I think I am stuck with these idiots. In mid-July we had a power surge during the night that killed my machine. I made many phone calls to Adapt Health, and just kept getting the runaround. Nobody knew anything about the error code that came up on the screen. I kept getting shuffled to different departments, or being told someone would get back to me, which never happened. After 6 weeks of trying to get them to help me, my doctor switched me to a different supplier, and I had my new machine within a week. DO NOT USE ADAPT HEALTH!!!!

They pointed fingers at me, the patient's doctor, the insurance agency...every time it was a different story as to why they were taking so long. I personally called and faxed them the info they needed, and the next time they would say I never did. I spoke with the doctor who said the same. As for what they needed from the insurance company, it has taken days with all other companies, some even one day. With this company it was 6 weeks before I got what I needed for my patient. Finally, in flipping the bitch switch and demanding to speak with the head of the company I got what I needed. Never again will I use them. As a physical therapist of 12 years I have never had such problems with a company as I did with Bay State. When I mentioned them to a colleague, he too told me he had similar problems with them.

High pressure sales but once you pay, forget about getting any support. There are comparable products (new!) on Amazon that are price competitive and Amazon accepts returns. Once for a trip to Washington D.C. and once for a day trip to six flags. We had to have it repaired after the DC trip because pieces were falling off as we pushed my son in the chair and a piece of the seat had fallen off as well and we had to pay for repair because the warranty was 1 day over the 30 days. After the one day use in six flags there were some minor things and we noticed the wheel was not working correctly. We brought it back again and the owner was not buisness like and more or less called me a liar and said he would not send the chair out like that.
