In this case, it is the exact opposite and so I decided to tell everyone reading this just how amazing Athletico in North Plainfield is. In March, I had major knee surgury for my torn ACL and MCL. Steve has been my PT the entire time (no they did not switch me around like those other places) and all I can say is WOW & BOOM! If you are interested in a physical therapist who take the time to get to know you, puts you on a plan to meet your personal goals, and goes above and beyond, then Athletico in Plainfield North is your place. Steve has gone to see my Orthopedic Surgeon with me so that we were all on the same page. Are you kidding me!!!! In less than 3 months after my surgery, I was out playing golf and now I am able to jog and do a lot of physical activity with very little pain & irritation and no medication at all. I give myself credit, but if it wasn't for Steve, I wouldn't even be close to being able to do any of those things in such a short period of time. If you want to see an expert who will take you places you never thought were possible, then visit this specific Athletico and one of their therapist. This was hands down the best first PT appointment I've ever had. The staff was friendly, the therapists were excellent and very in-tune with what was happening with my body, and they had me doing an arsenal of new exercises that, in my years of therapy, I've never done - which I can already tell will make a difference. When I first called to make an appointment, I specifically asked if I would incur any out-of-pocket expenses. I was told no and that I had met my deductible after my insurance was run. I was aware that I have coinsurance, but I have never received a coinsurance bill for chiropractors or other physical therapists. 2. When I attended, the physical therapists were double-booked. Generally there was one therapist per about 3-4 patients. I have been an athlete my entire life so physical therapy is not new to me. This is the first time I have been compelled to get my phone out and play games waiting for the PT to complete working with another patient. 3. I received an itemized bill that has different prices for THE SAME billing code. I called to clarify how I had an outstanding balance given that I was told I would not have to pay anything out of pocket. I also asked why THE SAME billing code has different prices. I was told a manager would call me back. They never did. Rather, I received another letter threatening to send me to collections. I called again today and I was told that whoever was supposed to call me back "did not see a reason to." Clearly they care about money more than their patients. The physical therapists are fine professionals, but whoever is running the admin, billing, and operations should be fired. There are physical therapy clinics on every corner in Illinois. Next time I will go elsewhere.

After suffering multiple injuries from an accident I worked with Marc O'Neill to regain my strength and mobility. I was very impressed by Marc's body of knowledge and experience. He was able to not only treat my injuries, but also explain how the body works and how to best continue to care for myself so these injuries do not reoccur. Marc himself is an athlete and works as a coach outside of his practice where he trains and conditions athletes offering his expertise in kinesiology and also learning from the athletes. As a patient, I felt I was receiving care from someone who has made this his life's work and passion.
