Totin's Diner is a local diner that serves French toast, pancakes, omelettes, breakfast meats, soups, paninis, burgers, juices, and more from the morning to mid-afternoon. In the past ~5 years, my husband and I have eaten from here twice. In 2021, we got takeout for the meatloaf (4 stars), pot roast (3 stars), pierogies (4 stars), bacon cheeseburger (4 stars), and ham-cheese omelette (3 stars). In 2025, we ate lunch in the dining room. Our waitress spoke courteously with us, and she promptly took our order, brought out our foods, and processed our payment. We ate the cinnamon-swirl French toast (5 stars, super flavorful!), potato pierogies (4.5 stars, tasty but could use less butter), bacon-egg-cheese panini (4 stars), and potato pancakes (3 stars).

My dad picked out Totin's when I told him I wanted comfort food for our late afternoon lunch and enjoy loved this meal. Our server was friendly and funny and she took care of our every request. Totin's is a traditional diner in Wexford. My dad and I both ordered the pot roast sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy. My brother in law ordered the Totin Burger and my sister got the big daddy burger. We all enjoyed our meals and left with full bellies. I highly recommend Totin's Diner for breakfast or lunch.

I've been wanting to come back here for a while. The pancakes are huge and I've been craving one. I was driving my mom back to the North Hills from an appointment in Wexford and was hangry because the appointment ran well over an hour late and I didn't have coffee yet lol. The weather is kind of gross and people are driving crazy so I thought, let's grab some food and pulled into the lot. The diner itself is a decent size. They have plenty of booths and tables or you can sit at the counter. I got a coffee and the Little Al. It did not disappoint. The pancake is literally the size of the plate and pretty thick too. The bacon was perfectly cooked. I like mine a little crunchy but not hard as a rock. There's probably a 5lb bag of hash browns on the plate and I ate them all. No regrets. Service was fantastic! They are friendly and fast and she even gave me a coffee to go! Will definitely be back.

What a delicious, hearty meal in a classic Pittsburgh diner! Service was quick and friendly. Coffee refills were timely! I understand why America gets made fun of for portion sizes - the pancake is literally the size of a medium pizza. One pancake is enough for multiple people to share. And it was delicious! Fluffy and sweet! My omelet was stuffed. I substituted for egg whites, and it was loaded with veggies and American cheese. So good. I haven't been here for a while, but my wife and I agreed - Totin's needs to be a routine stop for a weekend breakfast!

Really wanted to love this old fashioned diner chock full of funky old memorabilia. The server was super nice. But the odd thing....my omelet (the Florentine) had very little flavor - and same goes for the hash browns. My husband got the "Little Al" - which was not little! The pierogis were -- by far -- the standout item of the entire meal. Very flavorful with caramelized onions. The gigantic pancake was good. We also thought it was pretty expensive for breakfast. $18 for an omelet? Overall, it just didn't do much for us - sadly!

A regular breakfast favorite for us! Realized I had never reviewed! Good food, great bottomless coffee & always busy. Classic diner feel in a neighborhood restaurant. Huge portions- never leave hungry!

Again, owner is a "good" guy.

Food was fine. I was just annoyed watching the server eat fries off my kids plate when it was in the hot unit waiting to be brought out. To the server that did that, my kid didn't want to eat his food after I accidentally said what I was watching you do out loud. Next time, please order your own food. BTW, take a look at the owners previous comments (re-posted pics from another yelper); is this an establishment you want to support? I'm out.

Best breakfast in Pittsburgh I've ever had! Missy was our server, we were greeted and sat right away. Food came out quickly. All 3 in our party ordered the Little Al. I requested a blueberry pancake with mine. The pancakes are HUGE and so so good! You can also get pierogis as your potato side and I'm so glad I did. The potato filling was well seasoned. The outside needed a little salt and pepper. I also got scrambled eggs with cheese. The breakfast also comes with sausage and bacon. The sausage was also very good! Best sausage I've ever had. I cannot wait to return and try more items!

I'm an old car guy and this place worships them. Baby my kind of place. Giant pancakes. Servings always crowded. But have you fed quickly. All Menu items were good. Bad traffic especially for going northbound 19n!

This is THE BEST most traditional type of diner in all of Pittsburgh. Not Pamela's, not Kelly O's, not Deluca's, not DorStop. TOTIN'S MF DINER. First and foremost the vibes inside are a straight 60s diner. I love it. It's small so get in early if you wanna sit, but if you live close order for pick up, it's still bomb. Waitress was so friendly and just overall kind. I told her everything I wanted and she showed me exactly how to order it to make it the cheapest I would get it The food.... Not everywhere you go can you get kielbasa and pierogis with your eggs. Well at Totin's you can and you should. Nothing like dipping beautiful smoked kielbasa in your egg yolk. The pierogis I believe they get up the road from Forgotten Taste Pierogies who have some of the best I've ever had. The pancake is the side of two heads and like $7. Realistically it's 2-3 normal sized pancakes. Super fluffy and great putter layer. The biscuits and gravy were a little salty but luckily I love salt. I know not many people like that much so be cautious there Overall an immaculate experience and have gone multiple times since

This was a pretty good find while out in Wexford after a morning appointment on a Saturday. We were seated quickly, given menus, coffee, waters and space to peruse the menu. Very typical diner fare. The veggie omelet sounded good, so I ordered that with some dry wheat toast and shredded potatoes. Our food was delivered in a reasonable time and it was pretty darn good greasy spoon grub. The service was very good and attentive. The omelet was cooked well but the potatoes were a bit bland. I added some salt and hot sauce to add additional flavor. For a diner this place is worth a second stop.

What a great spot for breakfast! I visited Totin's for the first time this past weekend with a group and we had such a nice meal. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was brought out pretty quickly after we placed our orders. I tried the Totin's Combo with scrambled eggs and cheese, sausage, shredded hash browns, and texas toast. I also split a MASSSSSSIVE blueberry pancake with my husband. You should know that you will likely take half your breakfast home because the portions are so huge, which is a win! It tasted great in the moment and tasted great re-heated. It has a cute retro/50s theme and they have tons of breakfast options and some lunch options as well. I can tell that they're very family-friendly, which is great for anyone who has kids! I look forward to returning for more heaping breakfasts and lunch in the near future (I hope!)

You instantly feel welcome. It's a small place - only about 5 tables & 6 or so bar stools. Good ole fashioned diner breakfast food - egg dishes, a few bowl bfasts, pancakes, french toast, and a popular breakfast sandwich. My husband got the latter w/ sausage, egg, & thick American cheese on Mancini's bread - and enjoyed it. I got the "Home Fries Supreme" bowl with over easy eggs. It was good - not great - with a ton of potatoes, thick American cheese, grilled onion, and a lot of crumbled bacon. My sis-in-law got french toast and said it was good - but her usual order of pancakes and scrambled eggs is better. You can modify your order however you like, it seems. The wait staff is so friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves. The cook even popped out to take care of 2 of his favorite regulars who won't pass by, apparently, without their bacon (see the pic). We'll definitely be back, though probably when it's warmer --- cuz yowza is it cold when the door opens for people entering/exiting. This place could really use one of those exterior tent-door things that pop onto the outside of the door!

So, when back in the area I stopped in to this location for one. After walking in, I waited several minutes for a hostess and by the time she came, there were several people in line, waiting. The server was friendly and smiling, so that partially made up for the wait up front. I ordered my burger and I also got their soup & salad bar to go with it instead of fries. The salad bar looked decent. The salad was just ok, the ranch dressing wasn't as flavorful as I recall. I also got a cup of chicken noodle soup and this looked "watered down" and flavorless and sure enough, it tasted that way too. The broth was barely of a chicken soup flavor, it's like they watered down the broth to stretch it out - yuck. I hardly ate that too. Then the burger came out... It looks alright, but the bun was missing most of the sesame seeds. There was lots of grease on the plate around it. Flavor was just ok, definitely not as great as I remembered. Overall, I was disappointed... But at least I'm no longer craving Eat'n Park.
