What a hidden gem! Simple, quick and friendly people! Simple seating and decor for delicious, home style cooking. We had the Big Burrito and the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was a bit gelatinous but nonetheless tasty! Huge generous portions. Lots of great breakfast options and a la carte menu options too. A few lunch specials but they're only open til 12 or 2 most days. Great diner coffee. Cash is preferred but card is accepted with a small service fee! We'll be back! read more

They're open for breakfast and lunch, but I've only ever had breakfast there. The food is wonderful and in large portions. 4-egg omelets, stacks of pancakes, loaded waffles, you can't go wrong. The servers are friendly, too. It's a great place to go for breakfast. read more

Don't let the location fool you. Excellent breakfast--Eggs Benedict was fantastic. Good service and very clean.

Good coffee. Friendly service. Really, this is a "what you see is what you get" breakfast joint - American breakfast classics served up fast at a fair price. Taking that all into context, my main gripe with Jimis' is it is TINY - if you like to stretch out, this may not be the place for you. Worth nothing - the parking lot also seems to fill up quickly. There are plenty of spots on the side of the diner, but if you're going during one of our lovely Western PA winters, you'll likely have to walk through some salty, slushy sludge to even get into Jimis'. If you're in close proximity, you could do a lot worse for a quick breakfast. If the trek to Jimis' is a bit on the far side for you, it's likely not worth your time to make the journey. read more

New to town. Stopped in for a late breakfast (served all day!). Food was delicious - a little on the salty side, but I love my food salty so it was great for me! I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs over medium - perfect for dipping! Husband had the western omelette and a pancake on the side. Our toddler had the "Little Bites". This is the best omelette i've ever had. I got a build your own omelette with spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese. The home fries aren't too crispy and definitely aren't soggy. They're perfect, just as well as my wonderfully prepared, golden omelette. It's always cooked to perfection and satisfying. The ambiance is cheery and comfortable. The service has never disappointed. I came here with 4 friends and the waitress was eager to accommodate for our seating. My whole group appreciated the vibe and meal they were served. The menu is expansive and has so many options for breakfast and lunch. You WILL get a great meal without breaking the bank. Typically what you would expect for a dineresque type of place. The atmosphere is okay and the food is pretty good (a couple of interesting things on the menu) and the service friendly. Although a tad pricey for breakfast (you're probably going to pay a little over $10 with a beverage). I did notice that all of the patrons, including myself were wearing their winter coats, brrr. Jimi, please don't let the warmth of your establishment be muddled down by the temperature of your dining room. They do have a Facebook page with more information and check ahead for their hours, because they have altered them for the winter. read more

Tried this place because we were in the area. Food was just ok. Had a western omelet and they must've cooked it too long. Eggs were spongy. They also serve home fries that are just round precut potato chips. Not really home fries. read more

Went here today after church.... with A party of 5. Including 4 seniors and 2 were very handicapped. Despite its small size the staff went over the top to accommodate us and the food was excellent. Every dish came out as ordered and at the same time. The coffee was great and we will return. So nice to have a great local spot that was so enjoyable. The Butter on their French toast and pancakes is amazing! Plenty to eat and comparable prices! Dinner is only Fri and Saturday nights but look forward to trying that too! read more

Great little diner attached to the bowling alley in Valencia. Food was delicious. My husband had an omelet and great fried slice potatoes, and I had the Devonshire minus the bacon - which the owner remembered that I didn't eat from many years ago at another restaurant! The dining room decor really reflected the owner, and the service was perfect. Oh, did I mention I had fabulous smashed potatoes with my sandwich? Really should try this place out, you will be happy you did. read more

We visited Jimi's Jan, 28. Two of us had the French toast breakfast. Someone on line raved about it. I've decided that, that person is a big fan of cinnamon butter. The toast itself was two small slices of plain white bread, soaked in egg and properly fried. Unfortunately the lackluster toast only served as a vehicle on which to deliver that delicious cinnamon butter. They should try using a nice sturdy sourdough, or Italian bread. A couple of us ordered the home fries. We asked for them to be crispy. They were crispy. Actually, they were unlike any home fries I have ever had. They were more like thick potatoe chips with e little bit of soft potato in the middle. My thought was, "What happened to home fries? Aren't they supposed to be fried up on a flat top with onions and peppers? Not deep fried. That's just lazy." Now, about the coffee. Horrible. I really hoped for a good cup of coffee. It was weak and tasted like a very inexpensive grind. I'll be back because I strongly believe in second chances and supporting our local business's, but they will need to help me want to come back. God bless the entrepreneur and the business he/she runs. The eggs Benedict was very good. It was all in the well crafted hollandaise sauce. read more
