I just came in for a late breakfast on a Sunday afternoon. The food and service were all fantastic and I'm usually fairly hard to please.

The one thing I expect from national chains is consistency. Unfortunately, it seems Denny's has been heading toward being consistently bad, from the food quality to the the service. While our server tried to be attentive, she seemed overwhelmed. My omelet was overcooked and the onions in it were NOT caramelized (boiled, maybe). My hash browns were inedible - tasted like rancid oil. I heard the server ask the cook to prepare some red skins for me "right away," but I never got them and my husband never got his English muffin. The server gave us the bill and said the manager would "take care of us" at the register, which meant we got a lousy $5 discount and reassurance that the chain is working on changing the hash browns used. read more

Apparently the to go orders are more important than actual customers sitting in the restaurant. They have two more minutes or I'm going to Bob Evans. We'll, I'm gone. First of all, our waitress was absolutely spaced out on something. She was mumbling and slow, distracted, and messed up our drinks and food order. Only came by our table to take our order then to give the check. The kitchen was loud, messing around or something, then arguing. Our food took over an hour, though we were quite literally the only people there? Four of us by the way. Not sure what they were doing. Food was bad when it came, like it had been sitting for a while. Waffle tasted stale, and dry. Biscuits were just hard and awful. Fries tasted like they came from Walmart. I decided to try this restaurant again in 2024, and I again rate it as 3 stars. This Denny's menu lists appetizers (e.g., chicken tenders and nachos), salads, burgers and other sandwiches, breakfast foods (e.g., pancakes, French toast, bacon, and omelettes), dinners (e.g., country-fried steak, t-bone steak, and lasagna), sides (e.g., mac 'n cheese and mashed potatoes), desserts (e.g., cheesecake and apple-pie crisp), and beverages (e.g., sodas and milkshakes). Prices are reasonable. For our most recent purchase, my husband and I ordered dinner through Denny's website. My husband picked up the food at the restaurant, and he said that the food was not ready on time. He said that he watched the employees cook the food. He also said that an employee forgot to put salmon on my salmon salad, so he reminded them. He did say that they spoke nicely. Here are the ratings for our foods: Salmon salad - 3.5 stars - This salad contained iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, grape tomatoes, cheddar cheese, croutons, and my choice of light Italian dressing. It was topped with a salmon filet that was seasoned with garlic and herbs. The ingredients were fresh, but the salmon tasted a bit fishier than usual. Strawberry French toast - 3 stars - My husband ordered this French toast. He ate only part of it and said that it did not like it. I ate some of it, and I thought that it tasted OK. Four slices of brioche French toast were filled with cream cheese and topped with strawberries and strawberry sauce. On the side was bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage, and my husband preferred the meats over the eggs. Stopped in for some breakfast after my son's Dr appointment in the area. We were seated quickly in a close to empty restaurant. The server was nice, but the service a bit on the slow side. I suspect they have staffing issues. My breakfast crepe was a bit overdone, but otherwise okay. The hotcakes were okay at best. My son inhaled his food without complaint...but that's not unusual. Overall...it was a Denny's...expectations met. Not fantastic, but not bad. I'll probably drive by the next time I'm in the area. read more

Couldn't sleep all night so was starving in the morning. Their 6 am opening time came in clutch for me and I sent them a rather early order for pickup. They handled it well given the earliness of the order. hash browns were a little overcooked but not burnt nonetheless. coffee was great, nice caffeine buzz, classic diner coffee feel and great start to my morning. This establishment continues to have issues. We're finally done ordering from them after giving them chance after chance. They continually forget food from your order during deliveries, and then attempt to blame it on Doordash. We didn't order through DoorDash, we ordered through your website. If we did order from Doordash we'd have been able to get a refund instantly. Even if the restaurant made it easy. But instead the staff who answer the phone want to argue with you, hang up on you, refuse to get their manager, and refuse any accountability. Doordash did not pack the order. You did, so please resolve it by giving me a refund for my missing items. We are done with this specific franchise location. It's had errors for years, and it's a result of poor managers and a lack of training. read more

Haven't been to a Denny's establishment in roughly 10 years. Wanted to go to breakfast with my daughter after a doctors appointment and Denny's came up in discussion. We came in and were seated quickly and we both got breakfast. I got the sizzling skillet with chorizo, bacon, eggs, potatoes, peppers and onions and cheese. It was delicious. My daughter enjoyed her bacon and hash browns as well. Chocolate milk was excellent. Food came out quick and we were out within a half hour. I opted to do 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was good not great. I like to see smiling faces and automatic refills while I am eating and not feel like a bother. read more

For a late night bite this place can hit the spot. However, you may be feeling it in the morning. Late at night this place may be close to deserted. Which can be a good thing or a bad thing, totally depends on how your night went. I think that I may have been the only sober person in here. The place looks new, or at least newer. Like it may have had a remodel sometime in the past, giving you the diner vibe they are trying to grasp at. Menu is basically the same. I got the All-American Slam. Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast. Came out fairly quickly, not all that spectacular but it went down. The shining spot here were the staff. They were hilarious and went above and beyond for our service. Our server was great and made her way about the place gracefully. The hostess however was hilarious. DO NOT COME HERE.‼‼‼ me, my diabetic father, and my step mom came in for lunch and the food took absolutely forever to come out. my dad was about to pass out because we waited so long for our food because his blood sugar was low. waitresses were beyond wonderful, my complaint is the cooks in the kitchen. screwing up everyones orders, many many things got sent back into the kitchen. one of the cooks were working with an airpod in. the EXACT same cook got asked for a side of WHITE toast and thought the woman said FRENCH toast and they were like face to face talking. i heard her out from my table perfectly fine meanwhile he couldnt even hear her and she was right there in front of him. ive never had an experience like this at a Dennys before and unfortunately because of this, i will not ever be going back to this location. the bathrooms are filthy which is kind of expected but not like this. i noticed two of the four front liner workers standing around conversating with customers whether they knew the people or not, its unacceptable. i am beyond disappointed and angry frankly. our server, Niah S it says on the receipt, was friendly and great at doing her job. when we asked for the check she apologized for the long waits and thanked us for the patience acknowledging that there were mistakes happening. her and her other co worker, who i did not get a name for, did a great job. her two other coworkers basically did nothing. the one was a older gentleman and he was bussing tables and also stood around talking and the other was a older woman with fake lashes on that were kinda crooked, kinda tan and on the shorter end who also stood around conversating alot. i love dennys as a corporation and the food but this location for sure needs looks at. read more

We came late on a Saturday night and the experience was just terrible. After we ordered, we waited about an hour for our food. Two of the orders were just pie, which could have be done relatively quick since they are premade. None of our orders were even that complicated, just some appetizers and desserts. Then when our food came, two of the people's orders were not even complete. They said that the apple crisp that my friend ordered was burnt and was not salvageable, so she had to order something else. My friend ordered a hot chocolate and found huge clumps of powder at the bottom of her mug. They could not even stir the hot chocolate. We split jalepeno bottle caps and mozzarella sticks which were fine nothing special very greasy. They also never refilled our water. It says it is a 24 hour place, but it seems that the service is just terrible after midnight. Very disappointed and do not recommend. read more

We stopped at this Denny's location before a Pirates game because we had free Grand Slam coupons from a previous game we went to. It's a small place and was extremely hectic on a Sunday morning/early afternoon. We waited about five minutes for a table. When our waitress came to our table, she saw we had the coupons and just asked us how we wanted our eggs. It was a 15 second interaction. I get they were busy, but she could have been a little more personal. Food was good! Pancakes, bacon, sausage and eggs all for around $7 I believe if we would have paid full price. Great deal with the size of your breakfast. I would visit again for their breakfast, but not this location. I love the hardy pancakes with the oatmeal inside and buttermilk pancakes!! They smell amazing and are so fluffy, they tase so good they hardly need any butter or syrup ... I also love the hash browns as well and the sausage is pretty tasty (the bacon is a bit chewy). The eggs I will get scrambled next time because when I asked for them over easy they were slimy :( Overall, good breakfast foods ... Came in for breakfast this morning and was immediately sat by the hostess (Manager). Server came to my table a few seconds later and asked if I wanted coffee which I did. Server was very pleasant and recommended a create your own omlett. Food came out about 10 minutes later and was really good! I got the omlett with Pico, chirozo, Italian cheeses and sausage. All the lights were on, people were sat at tables & eating, and some were just sat with a menu. There was a hostess at the host stand so you would think they were open, and she rudely said they were closed until 4am due to parking lot construction. I used to go to Denny's as a kid and remember being thrilled for each experience. For months I had been telling my boyfriend how strongly I wanted to have that childhood excitement again, so he finally agreed to go. We waited for around 45 minutes, somewhat to be expected on a Sunday. Waitress provided me with, and allowed me to keep the mug with someone else's lipstick on it - even after I pointed it out. I had cold eggs. Came here for breakfast on a Friday morning. They def seem to cater to regulars bc we stood in the doorway for about 5 mins before someone acknowledged us. They need a hostess or a greater person Lady came by the table a few times but it was like a hit and run.
