Nice local pizzeria. Was in the area and decided upon here for dinner. From the outside, it looks like a converted house - but most businesses in the area look the same. Inside was spacious enough to where they were having a birthday celebration in progress on one side, leaving all the tables for other patrons on the other side. The menu selection was decent, but I already had my mind set on garlic bread and the bacon chicken ranch pie - both since it has been a little while since I last had it and because I knew I'd be having the rest of it the next day for lunch. The pie was tasty - so tasty that I forgot to take the picture BEFORE I removed a slice. The garlic bread was okay - I've had better but I've also had worse. Garlic bread is often made differently at establishments and it's a taste and choice for preference. The rest of the pie I didn't finish taster just as good the next day when heated up. Really, if I ever go back I do plan to grab this one again. Staff was very nice. Waitress was friendly. I got to talking to one of the owners and it turns out they were from Brooklyn NY. So any doubt about the quality here should automatically be put to rest. Had I known about it previously, I'd have taken a regular slice too. Owners were friendly and welcoming. I've been in their old neighborhood, so we had a nice conversation about the general area. There is no lot, so parking is street. All in all a nice place and a good option for the area. Good for locals who want a more authentic choice for Italian food and of course pizza/ I'd easily return here if I'm in the general area again. read more

I love Touch of Italy it's one of my favs. The owners and workers are wonderful people I've known for a long time and they make the best Pizza, dinners, subs, soups and Stromboli and if your feeling romantic you can take a bottle of wine and have some great food and some romance and then try their Tiramisu, Cheesecake or any of their other tasty desserts. read more

Touch of Italy gave me a touch of food poisoning. Well at least that is how it felt after leaving here and heading my four hours back to the Burg. The Turnpike is long and boring, throw in having to stop at every rest stop between here and there including a gas station about 5 minutes after leaving this place since that is when the first wave of stomach cramps came through. I'm really not sure what it was that made me sick. I ordered the large chicken salad with light Italian dressing. The salad was so overpriced for this type of establishment. Don't get me wrong, the place is cute for what they are, kind of a mum and pop pizzeria. It's nothing fancy and I believe they don't want to or need to be. I came here as part of a business lunch with 4 others. Three of our group were regulars and this place is within walking distance of their office so that's how I ended up here. The locals joked with the waitress about the food. Many asked if the items were fresh. I was guessing this was a joke but I wonder now. So back to my salad. It was a very basic salad, the kind you would expect from a small pizzeria. A plate of iceberg mixed with romaine lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and a few strands of onions topped with chicken. It was 11 or 12 dollars. It was an expense lunch so I can't complain but still for what I got it was extremely overpriced to me. It seemed ok, nothing great or anything, but solid ok and I was very hungry since I hadn't eaten all day. We finished up, walked our customers back to their office and reached my vehicle to begin my journey home, until just minutes after getting there I knew I had to locate a restroom fast. I was sick for the rest of the day and the next morning. I can't think of anything else that could have made me sick since I was running on an empty stomach, but I sure hope it was a fluke and not the normal. Pleasantly surprised :) I had a craving for fresh mozzarella, and you'd be surprised how many places don't have a caprese salad or margherita pizza. I got my caprese here--could have used more mozzarella to tomato ratio, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze would have hit it home! But it was good. The pizza though is some of the best I've had since moving to PA. I've lived all over the East Coast but grew up in North Jersey. So I know my pizza. It was very good. It also has my husband's and toddler's stamps of approval. read more

After living in Wrightsville and driving past Touch of Italy on almost a daily basis, we finally stopped last night and ordered takeout. They did NOT disappoint! I was the one who drove in to pick up our food, and I felt instantly at home when I went in. I met the owner's granddaughter, grandson, daughter, and son, and they were all very sweet and welcoming. We chatted up a storm in my short time waiting for the food to be ready, and I want to go back to eat in the restaurant just so we can have longer to visit next time! There were 4 of us who each ordered a pasta dinner which all came with salad and garlic bread. I had the Portabella Orechitti which was so delicious and flavorful, and the portion was huge! I am looking forward to eating the rest for lunch today. My best friend had the Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce (which is her favorite dish no matter what pasta place we go to) and she said it's hands-down the best one she's had. She has tried a LOT of different versions at local restaurants, so this is a glowing review! The other two dinners that were ordered were the Seafood alla Vinny and the Fettucine Alfredo. Both of those were hearty portions and elicited nothing but "yums" from the guys eating them. This family obviously cares very much about the food they make and they want their customers to be happy. Stopped in with 5 adults and a 2.5 year old after a quick google search. Mina the Server is incredibly kind and looked after us so thoughtfully! Great homemade Cuisine. From the pasta to the pizza. My family and I have eaten there many times always had a bad meal

We've tried quite a few things from Touch of Italy that we've enjoyed. We usually just carry out and eat at home since it's close by and my husband can just grab it on his way home from work. The food is always hot. We really like their pizza and pasta, and you get a ton of food for your money. I will say that the Chicken Marsala just wasn't that great - it needed a lot more seasoning - but the portion was huge and cooked well. read more

A Touch Of Italy is a nice little Italian restaurant right across the street from where I work in Hellam. Ocassionally I will go over there for lunch with some co-worker friends. The food that I've had there has been pretty good. From the chicken fingers to the sausage and peppers sandwich to the Touch of Italy fries(bacon!!!), it's all been well prepared and delicious. The service is great. Every time I go in there, the staff greets us warmly and always seems eager to help. The only complaint that one might have is that the place is a bit on the small side. But that doesn't matter to me. I think this place is great. Definitely recommend! read more

I picked up three takeout dinners for supper tonight. All of our food was very good. The seafood was fresh and the pasta was cooked perfectly. And we all loved the garlic bread. The best part was the owners that were very gracious and truly appreciated our business. I will definitely go there again and will recommend this little restaurant to our friends. read more

I thought that this place was okay. Wasn't crazy about it yet didn't hate it. I started with the minestrone sIoup. Not bad. Really wanted to try the seafood bisque but they ran out. Next we had the bruschetta with mozzarella appetizer. Again it was ok. For my entree I had chicken parm which I though was pretty decent. I also enjoyed their sauce. For desert I had the tiramisu. I would highly advise against it as it is frozen and I couldn't even eat the top layer of it. (Kind of like a tiramisu ice cream cake.) Even the waitress told me that the tiramisu comes frozen so it is not always defrosted in time. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed. That being said the service was right on par. It was quick and efficient. The waitress was friendly and honest. Although I wish she would have told me about the tiramisu earlier. Overall, I would go back to try something else again when I am in the area. read more

I was really disappointed by this restaurant because I had heard good things about it, but upon visiting found the service to be terrible. Our waitress was nice enough, but would forget to bring things back to the table that my group ordered, such as drinks. I did not care at all for the sandwich I ordered, and set it aside having only taken one bite. When my waitress asked about this at the end of the meal and I explained to her that I really did not like it, she did not offer me a refund and basically just said "oh, well." Not at all what you would hope for in a restaurant that was highly recommended to you. read more

Restaurant clean, and service was great which is the only reason why I rated this 2 stars instead of 1. My issue is the food. It was overpriced for the quality we received. I would be surprised if they made anything fresh or seasoned the food at all. The fettuccine tasted like watered down butter and cheese, and the chicken was like rubber and was very bland. I had to season it myself in order to make it edible and even then I couldn't eat it. We also ordered pizza which was bland as well. The last thing we ordered was tiramisu which was more like a fist-sized container of ice cream with a random rubbery lady finger thrown in; I had to nuke it in the microwave just to get my spoon through it. Not happy that that alone cost me $5.29 as it was so not worth it. I'm not usually a tough person to please, but this was really just...bad. Again, the service was great, which makes it even more disappointing that the food was mediocre at best. read more
