They have parking in the back and we witnessed people walking out carrying two-three boxes of pizza to their cars. They said it was the best! Well, they were right!! We ordered a large pie with mushrooms and onion. Fresh mushrooms (not canned) and plentiful. The sauce and cheese were delish! Nice thin crust (they also have Sicilian and other dishes and subs). The service by Justin was top notch and very friendly. We will DEFINITELY be back as we travel from PA back and forth to visit our family. On this particular evening on 7/1 (Which the disgust &horrofic service that evening literally put that cherry on top of that cake after all these years) I ordered some egg rolls, a dozen wings and root beer for my adult son who lives 90 minutes from me has a broken leg and No transport. After he waited two hours for this very small order and the fact that DP is 7 minutes from him, The delivery driver who was extremely apologetic for the long wait, handed my son the bag, (which was also missing the dip sauce for wings) but didn't matter because the whole bottom of the bag busted & food went everywhere. The delivery Driver very sincerely, apologetically & repetitively apologized. Now that the food's on the floor, my son (who was starving) eats what he can FROM THE FLOOR, because he knows that DP is not going to do anything about it. I say yes they will. I call. I talked to Melinda nastiest person I've ever spoken to there and there's been some nasty ones, but The fact that she is still employed there after the way, she treated a customer of 27 years. I lost all respect for SAL with that I mean, she didn't even get reprimanded nothing nothing. Refused to send my son out a new order said she didn't have the authority, even though she knew that it took over two hours for this very small order and that the entire bag busted out on the floor due to it being in a car for over an hour and still refused. Then had the audacity to call me a liar and start laughing at the fact that my son was eating food off the floor told me no he's not but sadly yes he was why would I make that up when you're starving You're starving! I guess she's never went hungry.I know the owner personally Sal Ferranti so I messaged him immediately. He called me, promised a new order the following day. Hold up your restaurant is understaffed overworked treats, customers like garbage minus the driver you're not there and now you're going to make him wait a day for the order that busted all over the floor, but you know what after he begged me not to give him a bad review or blast him on Facebook. I agreed to the next day! But The order never came. I never got the apologies that he told me I was gonna get from Melinda nothing over two decades of being a customer and sometimes I used to eat from there four or five nights a week because I'm a widow countless dollars and never did get another order instead he took my review and shared it defamed my character lied about what really took place and has a bunch of guppies taking his side (basement crew) who about 25% of them have retracted their statements and apologized to me because They realized how unacceptable His behavior was and instead of making his wrong right after four days of me waiting to see if that order would be delivered to my son reminder broken leg No car, not going anywhere SAL knew that! I was livid. I will never give them another dollar of my money. I know they won't go out of business because I won't eat there, but their food is not very good. Anyway it's just a small town. There are a few other really good carry out eat in places around though. I'm sorry the review is so long however requested I give a fair one and tell the story so I did. I highly recommend you stay AWAY from DP and if you do go there and you go through anything remotely close to what I did please make sure you leave a review. They have great wings with a generous portion. My friend likes their fresh tuna salad and bowl. Again generous serving size. Very diverse menu options to satisfy everyone. This is a local gem It should be supported by the community. The owner is very philanthropic. He supports local charities churches NCR etc by donating 20 percent of collections for that day for people who come in and mention the name of the charity.
