They don't have set hours of operation, so if you go they might not be open. The food is inconsistent as well.

I was worried because the last couple of reviews were all bad and it seems they've had a change of ownership within the last year. They used to be called south Philly & hoagies or something like that then south Philly and schwarma king, and now it's south Philly & Grill(Established in 2025) I can't speak to the reviews about how they're never open when they say because I went at 3:30 but I ordered a Philly cheese with provolone and I thought it was great! I'm by no means a cheesesteak coinnosoir but the steak was nice, juicy, and packed with flavor. I can tell they probably marinade the meat which is good. Could've had a bit more cheese but overall I was satisfied. The bread they use is from a brand in Philly called Amoroso's and it soaks up the flavors really well. I can tell it would get soggy if left too long but I ordered it and ate it within 10 minutes. Would I get it again? Absolutely. I give it 5 stars for how much I liked the flavor of the sandwich and my likelihood of returning. Keep in mind this is not a 5 stars on a scale of ALL the cheesesteaks I've ever had. I'd say that scale it's a solid 3

We came across this place on a Saturday afternoon, and maybe the timing had something to do with it…read morebecause the town seemed pretty empty. Unfortunately, though, our experience was less than pleasant. The guy working was nice and friendly, which I appreciated. However, about a third of the menu was unavailable. He explained that they were in the process of changing the menu, but it was still disappointing since several of the unavailable items were actually the reason we decided to stop in. We ended up ordering a Philly cheesesteak, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, and a plain burger. The food was perfectly okay -- nothing particularly wrong with it, but nothing that stood out either. Unfortunately, there were several other little issues that added up. The soda machine seemed to be off, and the Coke tasted very strange. The restaurant itself could have been cleaner, with crumbs and other debris in the booths. The food came in little baskets without silverware, which is understandable given the type of food, but every napkin dispenser we checked was empty, so there wasn't even a convenient way to wipe your hands. The bathrooms also had no soap or paper towels, which was especially disappointing. Overall, the food was edible and the employee was friendly, but the combination of the limited menu, cleanliness issues, empty napkin dispensers, and lack of bathroom supplies made this a pretty inconvenient and unpleasant experience. Hopefully some of these things were simply due to them being in the middle of a menu transition, but based on our visit, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

Before I even got my food, I had a great interaction with Mercedes at the counter. She was genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and didn't rush the moment, which set a really positive tone right away. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything on it, and when it came out, it was clear they don't cut corners here. The sandwich was fully loaded from one end to the other, with finely chopped steak that was juicy and well seasoned. The cheese was melted throughout instead of just sitting on top, so every bite had that same balanced flavor. Even with all the toppings, nothing felt overwhelming, and the bread held everything together without falling apart. It also came with fries, which were hot and crispy, and I paired everything with a peach Crush. That combination worked really well, especially with how rich the cheesesteak was. Between the quality of the food and the customer service, this is an easy recommendation. If you are craving a cheesesteak and want something that actually feels worth it, this spot is a solid choice. The ambience was just simple. It gave a mom and pop shop vibe, I love it.

Daniel's Cheesesteak House - Winter Garden, FL Just when I…read morethought Orlando-area cheesesteaks were doomed to be sad, touristy imitations, Daniel's showed up and restored my faith in humanity. This is the real deal: thin-sliced ribeye chopped on the griddle with perfect browning, Cooper Sharp melting like it's supposed to, fresh Amaroso rolls flown in from Philly that actually have the right chew and crust. Place is small, family-run local business. If you grew up in the Philly burbs or just know what a proper cheesesteak is supposed to taste like, do yourself a favor and get over to Winter Garden. Easily the best cheesesteak in Central Florida, full stop. Already planning my next trip. TL;DR: South Jersey/Philly expats, your search is over. Go. Now. Bring napkins.
