So I don't know where to begin with this review. First of all like all of us on here I am a huge fan of food and great food at that. If I am going to take time out of my schedule to go grab food from somewhere it better be darn good food. I have been going to this place for shoot I don't even know how long but this place has the most amazing food. There is nothing yet that I have had that I am not completely utterly crazy about. Everything Manny does is top notch. The products he uses are the very best. He honestly does not care about his profit he makes on his food it's more about the quality of his food and watching people enjoy his food he serves. Tri tip sandwich best I have ever had anywhere and I am a rancher that's what I do for a living is beef so when I say it's good it's spectacular. Sandwich comes with old style big fries that are amazing and cooked to perfection. His pizzas are freaking amazing any of them. My favorite is the meat lovers. Best pizza I have ever eaten. Even his Ranch dressing is the best around. It's the good kind. I was telling him one day how much I love the food and he said follow me and let me show you some of my produce and products. His meat is the top end meat money can buy for his sandwiches and his burgers. His lettuce and produce he hand selects himself and is so fresh and beautiful. I mean what owner takes a customer behind the front and goes and shows off his products that he buys. He is very proud of not skimping on his food products and by gosh i seen it all first hand. Delicious ! First-Timer here & I was not disappointed ! I ordered my food to-go because I wanted to watch the NBA Final's game & while I was waiting... Manny came by & dropped off an appetizer ! It was a great gesture, made me feel totally welcomed. As soon as I got my order, which was a Family Size Pizza, I opened the box to smell the food.. De-li-cious!!! I got home & enjoyed every bite. We didn't finish the family size so I took some for lunch the next day. The left overs were just as great! Will definitely come here again! First time here and we will never go to the other pizza places again! Came on a Monday for lunch and boy were they busy. The food did not disappoint. My wife ordered a small pizza. The dough was fresh as if it was made that day! I ordered a tri tip sandwich the meat was super tender. As an appetizer we ordered nachos (I'm normally not a nachos kind of guy) but the chips were fresh and did not go limp after the chesse was on them for a bit. We just moved to town and were looking for a nice spot with lots of choices for the kids. I have 3 teen boys and they all like different things. This place had all the choices for a casual dining night. Pizza, wings, fish and chips, shrimp and chips, burgers and sandwiches. We choose to dine in and placed our order. While waiting for all the food the owner, Manny, comes on over with the wings one of the boys ordered and says to us that he was feeling in a good mood. On the plate were the deep fried green beans. We hadn't ordered them, he just wanted to treat us. OMGoodness! They were so tasty and fun and we made short work of those. Then the other food came out. A pizza which looked amazing, fish and chips which was crispy, tasty and plentiful and shrimp and chips. The shrimp were not the little baby ones but the nice sized ones. Three teenage boys and they could not finish their food! Very generous serving. Price is reasonable for each dish. Then Manny came back by our table and asked how we liked our meal and then said that he was going to get his signature dish for us to try. Out comes a little plateful of deliciousness in the form of sliced tri-tip. I mean OH MY this was good. The boys and hubby were licking their fingers it was so good. Went for lunch not only was the owner extremely rude but the woman working behind the counter ignored us then when she finally came up said excuse me while I ring up this other person who was sitting at a table not even standing at the counter. I had an avocado burger with bacon & it was GOOOOOOOD. My only problem is I LOVE garlic fries so I'm a huge critic when it comes to them & they're garlic fries we're NOT cutting it for me. First off they were steak fries. Unless ur a garlic fry expert u probably shouldn't be using steak fries. Anywho, it seemed like a mixture of garlic parsley & oil were just thrown on warm fries, mixed carelessly, & given to me. Went here because I'm "new" to Patterson and searching out all the food places to find where to eat on a regular basis. Saw the reviews on here and decided I should try. I've seen a couple things regarding "customer service" here. I did NOT have this issue! Went with my mother as an exploration, our first impression was looking around for a menu, I'm used to seeing food items on a board for everyone to see, this wasn't the case here. However the owner saw us and when we asked he immediately handed us a menu and told us we can sit wherever we want and had a bright smile on his face. Cool, so we sat down. He gave us time to explore the menu before he came over to ask what we wanted. He didn't just ask, he grabbed a chair and started chatting with us! Ok cool, this tells me that the owner cares about his customers. Then he did something strange, he started joking with us, making us smile, being INCREDIBLY personable, we're used to nice servers but Manny was unbelievable! In a good way! Joked, smiled, made us laugh, the atmosphere was amazing! The reviews here on yelp suggested the tri-tip sandwich and only barely mentions the pizza. So since we knew the sandwich's were good we decided to try something ELSE, and grabbed a pizza. Our goal: explore Patterson food to find what we like the best. I ordered a large pizza and Manny IMMEDIATELY went into how he prepares the pizza. Did we want extra sauce? He does that. Did we want extra cheese? He does that too, he would make it with love and attention. Then he went into "hey, we have kids in here with our pizza and we noticed that the toppings on the pizza tend to fall off so we'll spread extra cheese among the toppings so that it's baked directly into it and you get toppings with every bite", he was NOT wrong! No toppings fell off. This man cares deeply about the customers money, I MEAN BUSINESS(hats off to you Manny for that joke, i loved it, and note to others; I'm quoting Manny because he told that joke at the table and we both laughed). My mother asked if there was water there and Manny specifically brought her some filtered water because.... Patterson residents know about the water here! We brought the pizza home and opened the box. Ok, looks like a standard pizza. Ok fine, pizza is pizza right? NOPE! We're still not completely sure what was up with that pizza, but it was AMAZING! I think it was the sauce, but overall after eating that pizza.... I'm not sure I want to go anywhere else! ... EVER! TL:DR; do you want hearty food in Patterson? Do you want amazingly friendly service with an owner who cares about there customers? Do you want service with a smile AND jokes? Do you want a pizza that will make you say "holy shit THAT IS AN AMAZING PIZZA?", well turn to Manny's Touchdown Pizza & Deli in Patterson. They could use some better air conditioning, but hell that's most of the valley right? Overall, this place deserves all 5 stars I've given it. Wow, happily greeted by Manny, the owner who was just opening today. Our group had a variety of food- Tri tip dip, pizza and hamburgers. All was delicious! We were headed from northern Cal to southern Cal. Manny's restaurant was well worth the 3 mile detour off highway 5! read more

Just finished enjoying one of the best pizzas that I've had in a while. This is my first time here and when I first arrived I was a little worried since I saw all the tables dirty... but i soon saw why... not one minute passed and there was a line out the door.. the phone didn't stop ringing and people didn't stop coming. Every time I go to Touchdown Pizza, Manny always has a smile on his face and is ready to give you the best service he can give. Th burgers are generous in size and are juicy and super yummy.
