SSU kid lives in Rohnert Park and needed car cleaned well. Didn't like the RP carwash options so I found TCW on yelp and drove the 15 min to find it. Great solid wash on really dirty car. I normally come here every two weeks to get my car washed but today was a different experience, I went to Lake Tahoe for the weekend so my car was a little more dirtier then normal, nothing to crazy. I decided to stop by to get all the dust that came down from there and they decided to charge me 5$ extra which is ridiculous considering they took the same amount of time cleaning it. I asked why the 5$ extra charge fee and he said the dirtier they are the more they charge, (they don't have a sign that says that at all) I understand if my car was full of mud but it wasn't. It was simply dust that came off with one rinse of water, it wasn't stuck to my truck or anything. Do they expect you to come in with a new clean car?? Never coming back. read more

Well I am a retired guy, 66 years old. I have been to a lot of car washes in my lifetime and have not been very impressed with most of them. I believe its all about the people,. Miguel Guerrero is the manager at Touchless Car Wash and he has the gift for personal service. When I bought my used 4x4 Winnebago View motor home it was pretty faded and had a lot of oxidation. His crew under his guidance transformed my motor home into a different vehicle. Then about a month ago I drove to Nevada and explored several old gold mines and ruins in the mountains and did a lot of off road driving. I managed to really scratch the fiberglass body significantly and was embarrassed to bring it back to Miguel. But much to my surprise he brought the rig back to its beautiful self again. Miguel is very knowledgeable about what can be done. He is very fair and honest and treated my motorhome with a lot of respect and special care. $34.99 for exterior and interior - then noticed Rain Tree is $24.99 for the same thing. I also was told shampooing required an appointment, then after purchasing saw a sign for Mini Detail for $99. It would have been nice to know this, they could have definitely up-sold me. I'm writing this not about quality of service, but more so the opportunity for them to better market their services. I would like to see pricing made more apparent (bigger signage, with all the detailing options!) My standards have been set pretty high by Brushless Car Wash in Marin - and I'd love to see the services here match theirs! This place was amazing...recently it's changed. I went there 3 times when the manager told me they couldn't do my car because there weren't any employees to do it. Today I'm here and they've raised there rates, there isn't a sign. When I pulled in, the guy working did not utter one word of English. That really bothers me, plus the fact that he wasn't nice and neither was the foreign owner. I found out they're closing in June for remodeling. Isn't that one of the busiest months for car washes? Seems crazy! Now I'm sitting here waiting for someone to do my interior, they have no staff left...I wonder why. read more

Great for the price! I come here regularly to get our Lexus washed. Usually just a wash but a few times a year we also get the interior cleaned. Their price for each of these services is great IMO, and even better when you get their package deal that includes an additional wash for free. They have extra touches like hand pre-wash and hand-drying that make this a great value. read more

I only use Touchless in Petaluma because it is the only car wash where my car is clean when I leave. Plus the staff is always friendly when I have been there. However, the owners are negligent in making sure the employees are trained properly. First is with cleaning the cars. I have been there when the staff does an excellent job drying and cleaning my car. I have also been there on many occasions when they just do a half-assed job. This morning was one of those half-assed mornings. Because the workers didn't complete their job, I had to finish drying my car. As I was finishing, one of the employees started blowing the lot, blowing dust and debris back onto my clean car. Second is with the cleanliness of the lot itself. Every time I go, there is way too much debris. Worse, the few times I have used - and when I drive by - the self-wash stalls, they have always been dirty. Both times I used them, there has been thick mud in the stalls. One time was when they had been open for a couple hours and there was plenty of staff to clean them out. The other was right when they were closing. I don't think they clean the stalls at all. I have the impression that they leave it to the customers to clean them as they wash their cars. Even with my complaints about the business, I prefer this car wash over the others, especially Chevron's Wash2Go which uses very little water (plus it has no pre-rinse) and feel my car isn't clean when I leave. (Every car wash is required to reclaim their water so there is no excuse to use so little of it.) I recommend Touchless Car Wash only because there is no better alternative in Petaluma. read more

Work in Petaluma, so thought I would try this place out. For $30, they do a pretty good job. Usually my dashboard and console aren't always cleaned the best, they impressed me here! They could have been more detailed around the edges of my car (eg the logo, was still left a little dust around the edges), but for the price, their friendliness and efficiency, I will let that slide;) I am sure to come back when I need car wash in a pinch! read more

Ok- sitting here- waiting for my car. It's been over 20 minutes and they are just starting to vacuum the car now. There was only one car ahead of mine. $19.99 for outside & inside- except inside apparently means windows and vacuum only - they will not wipe down any "plastic". I have never heard this. $20 for a small compact car should include wiping down the dash. It's also a bad way to price because all I had was a $20 bill, which left me nothing to tip the guys who actually deserve the money. I felt bad but had no weather change. The reclaimed water they use stinks. Badly. So many other car wash places, run much more efficiently in Petaluma, for less price and better service . 40 minutes is too long for a "quick" wash. Meh. I'm in search of a good place to take my car to for a good exterior and interior wash every now and then, so I gave this place a try. The exterior was fine, but the interior job wasn't great. They missed some things in the vacuuming and left grime on the console (probably left from one of the towels they used.) Almost felt dirtier inside than when I brought it there. This touchless car wash uses one of the older technologies with the big system that goes around your car and having you drive into a specific space on the floor (steel). There's also a guy that watches you, even though it's open 24 hours a day. read more

DON'T USE A CREDIT CARD HERE! Decent self-service car-wash (probably the only serviceable one in Petaluma), except the credit-card reader literally "put the touch" on my card. Although the meter showed-and gave me-only 3 minutes of wash time, my credit card was charged $10. Ouch! Rude communication from staff. Unclear what you are getting. First time, I got the wash and vacuum. Second visit they didn't ask me what I wanted and proceeded to charge me. They didn't do the interior which was a surprised me. When I asked about, they made me feel that I should have asked told them what I wanted. There was very little signage explaining the options. I wasn't trying to get a free vacuum but I also didn't expected to be treated rudely and being blamed for their poor communication. I've always had a great experience at touchless carwash - nice employees, attentive and detailed services, and a great price. However, yesterday, I went to get my car detailed and the employee left multiple deep scratches on our media console screen. Our car essentially brand new - purchased in late March of this year. When I showed him the scratches, he said that it was not his fault. I then spoke with another man who I believe was the supervisor, and showed him the issue. He attempted to buff out the scratches with a microfiber cloth, but this did not help. He had us fill out a complaint form, which he said would be sent to management and they would "be in touch". It has been over 24 hours now and we have not heard back. I also tried calling their phone number multiple times with no response and the voicemail box is full. We've submitted a claim with our insurance and need to get ahold of the company to have our car fixed. If management or the owner is reading these reviews please contact us ASAP - my information is available in the paperwork we submitted yesterday. read more

Never going back to Touchless Car Wash on 540 Lakeville St in Petaluma CA! First visit I had both the exterior and interior of my car cleaned. The person that vacuumed the inside of my car, instead of warning me that everything inside the car gets sucked out, disappeared a receipt and three packages of nuts and bolts sitting in the cup holder that I was going to return at the hardware store for a refund. Today, I desperately needed a wash and was near Touchless Car Wash so decided I would just get an exterior car wash. They were not open yet so decided to do the DIY wand bays. Put $5.00 worth of quarters in and turned dial to "Decrease Tires", did not work. Turned dial to "Brush Soak", did not work. Finally turned the dial to pre-wash and that worked. Turned dial to "Soap Wash" and that worked fine too. However, when I turned the dial to "Rinse" it took about a minute for the "Soap Wash" to transition to the "Rinse" cycle; consequently, I was forced to put another 5 quarters in the slot! read more

Don't go by pricing the company lists. They evaluate your car and add on fees. I will Never go there again. My $25.99 "The Works" cost $37.00. I do not recommend this place to anyone. We usually go to Raintree on Petaluma Blvd, but decided to give this place a shot since it was closer to our home. NEVER AGAIN! They even tried pushing us through without even vacuuming my car. I would give no stars if I was able to. Service provided as advertised is NOT followed by this company. Let me explain why we paid the price, it was a Mother's Day gift AND we were completely blocked in by other cars, instead of causing a huge commotion and putting many other people out we just paid the price and got it done and let them know the pricing was rediculous. Ive had my old car cleaned here before and i was pretty happy with the results so I brought my new truck down when it was due to have the exterior cleaned. They cleaned it alright but now when the sun shines on the truck I can see the millions of little scrapes in the paint from the cloths they use to wash and dry my vehicle. read more

I normally go to raintree but I didn't want to be stuck in traffic on the Boulevard so decided to give this place a chance. They seemed extremely understaffed and I waited 30 minutes for JUST an exterior wash which turned me off. There was no posting for how much an interior cleaning would cost and honestly my car was not that bad so I went with the exterior only, after going to Wash2Go and coming home with a dirty car. The pros 9 bucks and get your car sparkling clean is better than 5 bucks at Wash2Go and coming out with bird poop still on your car. They listed wax at no additional charge and I asked for it but never received...just a hand dry. I will probably come back again when I need a quick exterior wash. read more

Best deal in town! I used to go to the Raintree Car Wash on North Petaluma Blvd., but since I got my Mini they no longer wash it b/c they say it is too small! So I had to look elsewhere. After trying Touchless's $9 hand wash I am totally sold on this place. They were courteous, and they dried my car thoroughly as well as gave my tires a special treatment. Not a "complete detail center." Waited 30 minutes and learned that vacuuming etc not available and have to do yourself... not worth the wait or hassle. Waited 15 minutes to be hand dried & by that time the car had spots on windshield. Changed $2 to quarters to use the vacuum- got sprayed by dirty water in the process that was blowing directly in change area from wash area. Vacuum was clogged and didn't do jack. I hate this place. Next time I'm going to Raintree or Matt & Jeff's in Marin. read more
