The bus girl had an attitude and no personality and forgot to bring our eating utensils. the waitress was very nice. My pancakes were rubbery and dry and the turkey beacon has a odd taste and color. A cool Sunday morning in April. What a treat! We got a table outside and ordered the French toast and the Greek specialty of Bougiourdi in a crepe so we could try both the sweet and the savory. Our waitress was very welcoming and helped us decide. The tart feta and the flavorful peppers in the Bougiourdi is just delicious and the French toast was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars was the dark haired with a braid waitress was so rude to us when we checked out. read more

Offering a great number of options the menu is full of healthy options or comfort food options. You can't go wrong either way you order. Everything is made To order, served hot and timely. Eat at one of the sidewalk tables or dine inside. Reasonably priced offerings fill both sides of the menu. Spend enough time here and you might get your picture on the wall of fame. It's a great spot in the heart of downtown Tarpon Springs, right on the Pinellas Trail (we ride bikes there from our home, then head out to ride after). Great restaurant located in Tarpon springs right on the Pinellas Trail. Open 8am to 2pm Tuesday to Sunday, they serve breakfast and lunch. We came for Sunday breakfast around 915, by 930 the place had gotten packed and there was a wait. That's how you know it's a good place. They have indoor tables in the restaurant, outdoor tables and a counter to sit at. Service was fantastic and friendly. I had the cream cheese stuffed French toast with blueberries. Very tasty and not overly sweet. My friend had the Bougiourdi: a northern Greece traditional dish, feta baked in extra virgin olive oil, with tomatoes, sweet sand hit banana peppers, basil garlic and oregano mixed in with 3 eggs. I tried it and it was delicious. Will definitely return again, I'd like to try their lunch dishes. read more

For example, my elderly father wanted to sit at the tables along the wall and not the table in the middle of the restaurant or the counter and he can't hear so well so he asks to move as we are walking in and the waitress smiles in his face but as she turns her back she makes faces to her co workers and gestures cause she's an idiot and thought I didn't see that when I was walking in slightly behind. BUT WHO DOES THAT? Newsflash: your a restaurant in Tarpon , 99.9% of your clients can't hear. Skip this place and go to the Bayou Cafe close next door. Everyone there is friendly and the food is just as good. The server with the tattoos and who was about 40 yrs younger than the other servers was super polite, look for her if you go there. Toulas is a super cute cafe, located in Tarpon Springs right off the Pinellas Trail! It is accessible by bike, car, or foot and is across the street from the historic Tarpon Springs Train Station. They offer a few tables, for outdoor seating, which is awesome to watch people exercise while I am chowing down on my pancakes! These outdoor tables are dog friendly, and if you come on your bike there is a bike rack available on the side of the building. Today the hubs and I came for some Sunday breakfast. We waited less than 5 minutes for a table and (while we waited) an employee engaged us in light conversation. I got the eggs Benedict Florentine, and the hubs got a chorizo skillet. I have to say, I love their eggs Benedict. They make several different kinds for everyone's taste buds. Oh, and they always have fresh made muffins and bread. The owner of Toulas loves to make specials every weekend. This weekend it was pumpkin muffins, and pumpkin butter icing. We sampled the home made icing, and yummmmm.... Each time I've come for breakfast or lunch they have never disappointed and all the employees are very friendly! If you want a bite to eat for either breakfast or lunch this is a great stop. Oh! Pancake was solid but would have liked real maple syrup (even if they want to charge extra) - don't like the fake stuff. Would love to come back to try lunch. So good... this place lives up to its previous reviews. My husband and I came in on a Sunday morning at 9:15. No wait at all! I'm sure all of the decent people are at church at that time.... I couldn't decide between sweet or savory for breakfast- always a conundrum for me. It was between the blueberry stuffed French toast or the special "California eggs Benedict " (and they have several Benedict options, FYI). I went with the California Benedict and it was wonderful. Update: This place is still awesome! Tried some different dishes, And got a few more photos. I decided to go ahead and try a special, the chorizo shrimp and grits. Definitely very filling, they house make the chorizo. Plenty of shrimp, they did not overdo it with the cheese. Had a nice surprise of caramelized peppers and onions. Definitely a good dish when they have it, however I have to say the crabcake bennies are absolutely my all-time favorite. We also tried the savory crepes this time. Chicken, spinach, Sun-dried tomato, mozzarella, caramelized onions, etc. My girlfriend said now this is her all-time favorite ! Hopefully the original review is still linked to this, because I cannot remember what I wrote back then; other than it was delicious LOL! Almost forgot, since I always get the bennies ... this was the first time I got bread on the side. I got the rye & I ate every slice.
