The cake was packaged in a very convenient package, with it already having handles so it's easy to carry. They also gave me a plastic spatula to make it easier to cut and serve the cake. For the cake itself, it was deliciously well made, and was not dry at all, but rather nice and moist. There aren't many cake options here in the Allston area, so this is a great option to get a cake if you're ever in need of one! Great bakery with a lot of options! I often come here for their bread as snacks. This time, I decided that their cakes were so pretty and cute that I bought one for my boyfriend's birthday. Can't come here too often since I'll go broke, but whenever I do come here, I get a lot of stuff from here since it tastes better than most other bakeries and I think its geared towards Asian people taste buds. It's not greasy and doesn't sit heavy in your stomach.....everything here is very fluffy and light and it just tastes better haha. My favorite is the pizza bread. I used to like this place until I experienced some poor customer service. We accidentally dropped a piece of almond toast ($2.75). Yes, it was our fault, we knew that. Nonetheless, we asked to get it replaced because 1) we hadn't taken a single bite of it, and 2) it would only cost them $2.75 to make two customers very happy. But the response we got was just stupid. "You were the one to drop it, so we're not liable." Wow. Of course you aren't liable. That's not what I was asking. As a business in the service industry, I figured you'd overlook the cost of $2.75 in exchange for making two of your customers overjoyed for a replacement. Such a positive experience would absolutely be appreciated and remembered, and it would have only cost $2.75. Businesses pay a lot more than that to achieve such results. Food: first of all, A+ on presentation of all the pastries. They all looked amazing. I got the ham and cheese croissant, the strawberry cream croissant (not the name but I can't remember their name for it), and a pain au chocolat. First of all, their strawberry cream croissant was beyond delicious. Satisfied my sweet tooth and was baked and prepared to perfection, would highly suggest this one. On the other hand, I was not impressed with their ham and cheese croissant. The presentation was for sure not impressive but the main thing I wasn't a fan of was that I think it was American cheese which I wasn't impressed with. Throughout eating it, it was not very appealing. I asked them to heat it up and that helped but I would not eat this again. Finally, the pain au chocolat was right in the middle, met expectations, was good, but not exemplary. Flaky pastry and had delicious chocolate flavor but would suggest they offer to heat up certain pastries, especially for dine in customers. I had the ham and cheese after and didn't think to heat it up until then which was too late for the pain au chcolat. I wouldn't purchase this again but I would definitely eat it again. The service was decent, not super friendly but not rude either. The whole place was definitely very cute with umbrellas on the ceiling, well decorated. read more

They have sweet drinks like the grape soda thing I got- It was really syrupy but still tasted pretty good. The breads are cheap too and you can bring your laptop and work here while eating! I been getting Birthday cakes at this bakery for a couple of times and I believe having the limitation of cake sizes for some specific cakes, e.g: mouse cakes having no 8 inches sizes are unacceptable for a franchise bakery. The recent phone order experience is really below my normal expectation. The staff that took the order over the phone need me to repeat my card number multiple times. He also sounds rude and unpleasant. I would expect a better customer service experience from a bakery that charges $48 dollars for cake.
