I have been waiting patiently for months for this place to finally open so I was disappointed at the lack of bread available today. It seems like they were out of almost everything. Fortunately this is not my first TLJ experience so I was okay with snagging a couple of curry croquettes and some coffee buns. The curry croquettes were delicious... what one would expect of a fried doughnut with hot savory filling. So 4 stars for what you did offer; appealing ambiance, friendly staff, ease in purchasing experience, quality of bread and hopefully greater availability in the near future. read more

Awesome place! My wife wanted to check the place out and when we arrived we were greeted by a really warm and cozy feeling, as if we knew we were going to enjoy this place. We tried a few pastries and got a couple more to go for the kiddos. I had to try the Croque Monsieur as I've only heard Bobby Flay talk about them! It looked heavy and greasy, but too good to pass up. It was surprisingly light and it wasn't stale at all. My wife doesn't really like savory pastries, but she totally loved it. She decided on the red bean bun and it was sooo good, I have to say, it was my favorite. We also tried the walnut and cream cheese pastry and it was light and not bad at all. All three had a very light and delicate texture to it, and none were warm! I can only imagine how good it would be if they were right out of the oven! read more

The strawberry cream cake is the absolute best cake I have ever had. The cake is so light and delicious and there are actual strawberries embedded within the cake layers. The decorative frosting on the top tasted like the filling of a cream puff... so delicious and so beautiful! They also have a variety of pastries you can box up and take inside the store read more

Good bakery for cakes! I don't come here often, mostly to get a cake for a birthday's. My favorite is the layered strawberry and whip cream cake. They have other pastries, but I haven't tried them. read more

Needed a dessert for dinner so I stopped this place . First thing I noticed, NO Social Distancing being practiced!!! Way too many people right on top of each other in line. I did my best to stand back and away. Then I ordered the Chocolate Heart Cake. Got it boxed and left. Now it's time to have dessert....this cake was horrible DRY!!! Seemed really old. No one took more then a couple of bites from their plate before we decided to dump it!!! $33 down into the garbage can!!!! Waste of money......I am SO disappointed and angry that they would sell a very old dried out cake!!!!!! Beware!!! read more

It was so good, I left a $20 tip for a $4.25 white chocolate matcha latte. Pay your baristas, folks. Spacing inside conforms with COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. Not sure how often they sanitize the cabinet handles that house their pastries. They take NFC payment. One of my cards would not work but that's something I gotta figure out. The core store is great. Outdoor seating present. Current hours are 8am-8pm daily due to COVID-19. Friendly staff. Worth leaving a $20. Pay your baristas!! read more

Really great alternative Asian bakery with a lot of lighter options. You don't have to rely on places like HK for your desserts anymore. Just wish they had cream puffs more often. Been here a few times and either they run out or didn't plan on making any that day at all. Also place is a little small and sometimes hard to find a seat when it's really busy. Overall cool concept of you picking what you like on a tray before paying. read more

Excellent Cake and pastries. I have been here many times but it is just now that I have decided to write a review because they did an amazing job at creating my mom's birthday cake! I ordered Strawberry cream cake 8" for $32 via phone and I picked it up on the exact date that we discussed. Ordering was super easy. Also if you want to know what type of cakes they have check out their website they have pictures. Cake was super moist! The cream was not too sweet and it has the right amount of strawberry flavor in it as well. My mom doesn't like anything TOO sweet but she said this is perfect. Not going to lie I was hesitant about my cake because I read a review that they were pre frozen cakes and not freshly made so I made the effort to confirm with the bakery and they said they are all freshly hand made cakes. Great! We went back the next day to get more pasties and they were all so delicious. We had croissants with Nutella, strawberry cream and my favorite which is feta and spinach Danish. My mom got a lot as well and they were soooo good! Gotta try this amazing bakery because it's well worth it read more

Wish I had a picture to pair with this review but the goods looked so GOOD I completely forgot. You MUST try a "croquette". I had the kimchi one, and I was in pastry heaven. The crunchy coating on the outside with the soft, chewy casing is the perfect balance. The filling is just out of this world: well seasoned and slightly creamy. The "Sesame Donut" had a great flavor, especially with the light sprinkling of sugar on top. I didn't expect it to be so dense and chewy in the middle. Wouldn't get it again but glad I tried it. The "Yuzu Pastry" certainly fit the bill of trying things I'd never heard of before. If you're gonna go to a Korean-French Bakery, then how can you not? The leap of faith paid off: it was a delightful pastry, flaky and layered on the outside and the filling was not over sweet. The "Blueberry Cream cheese" pastry was simply beautiful to look at. A deep, shiny brown on the outside. It was surprisingly chewy, and the filling wasn't anything like the over-sweet, too rich filling of typical danishes. I forget to mention that I was just supposed to pick up a cake, but when I saw the impressive display of pastries, I had to have a taste. I'm looking forward to the next time I'm sent to be the delivery boy, because I'd like to try more of the incredible baked goods here! read more

Smaller than I expected (was thinking of places like 86 degrees or Kim Do) but great pastries nonetheless. TLJ nails the French - Korean baked goods. Been there a few times now and haven't had a problem with long lines or things out of stock. I do like that they are testing the waters with customer demand/likes and dislikes. The kimchi croquette is perfectly crunchy and I love that they keep it in a warmer. Their savory buns and pastries are better than the sweet ones, IMO but I suggest you try everything out at least once read more

This was my first time to this Korean French bakery. It is located near Trader Joe's. Parking was not too bad for a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was very trendy with light music in the background. There was a very diverse crowd and the line moved fast. It was very easy to look at the options. Each option had a description with a picture, calorie count, and price. I chose both the ham and cheese pastry and the cream puff pastry. They were delicious with just the right amount of filling for each. I can't wait to come back and try the macarons. read more

Wow if heaven was a bakery this is what it'd look like. You walk in and it's just a beauty of all different types of breads, pastries, desserts and drinks. I've only been here a couple of times and their choices never disappoint. Their fresh cream cake is light and fresh. Packed with strawberries and fluffy white cream. Every time I come here, I have to implement some serious self control to buy not buy the whole store. Everything looks soooo delicious and I'm someone who loves to try a little of a lot. The first time I came here, I had to get the strawberries and cream soboro. Absolutely exceptional. Also tried the milk bread and it was exactly how I imagined. Soft, light, fluffy and not too sweet. I then had the soboro bread. Love the crunchy layer on top but boring compared to the other pastries. This time around I had to go for the savory pastries. I had both the frank roll and sweet frank roll. I preferred the frank roll, as it was probs my faaav thing I ordered today. I had a melon pan which had such a subtle melon flavor but so good. First time and won't be my last time ! They have self serve fresh Boujee pastries and all of them look so amazing it's hard to choose. The Carmel macchiato was smooth and not too sweet. My favorite overall was the chocolate almond croissant! Most Covid procedures were followed, they have tongs to pick your pasteries but I wasn't confident they were sanitized before I used them they didn't have instructions posted about not putting them back after use. read more

This is my favorite little bakery place in Beaverton. I have come here twice for birthday cake already. I definitely think it's worth it. The flavors are light and not overly sweet. Some of the creme can melt fast if you don't store it properly because it needs to be chilled. But overall everyone loved it. Their drinks are great short of the matcha lemonade unless you like bitter things but they were kind enough to make me another drink. Once I even brought a slice of their Green Tea Cake for our friendly neighborhood Community Manager as a thank you for the events he throws and he enjoyed it. I can't wait to come back here again for all the best celebrations! read more

They also have great looking cakes (which I have not tried yet). I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a quick breakfast bite and coffee. 10 stars for customer service. I called today to see if, by some kind of miracle, they had any whole cheesecakes I could buy. The person I spoke with checked and offered to have one made SAME DAY. She saved me and my poor planning. My husband picked it up and had nothing but positive things to say about their store front and his interactions getting it. I've ordered cheesecake from here before and gotten positive feedback, but I have to say, the customer service I experienced today made me absolutely love them. read more

Today was the first time that I bought a cake from tous Les jours, the cream strawberry cake #1. The associate removed the cake from the display and put it into the box, and later sent it back to the kitchen. I had already paid for the cake as well as a few other items and waited for like 5 to 10 minutes. Finally my cake came back out. Another associate just brought out the cake to me without saying anything, and I only notice about the cake was chipped by the box after I walked out of the store. I wish they could rescue the cake for me or at least be honest about it. Now I have an imperfect cake. And they don't offer any plastic cake cutting knife or free matches and candles as Paris Baguette would provide, another chain Korean bakery. read more

One of my favorite bakeries! I live in Boring OR, but I will happily drive out to Beaverton just for this bakery. Everything I've gotten from here is really good and I wished I'd gotten more. Some of my favorites are the strawberries and cream croissant, the cream puffs, anything with hotdogs, and their cake slices. You can't go wrong with anything you get from here! If I lived closer, I'd probably go here close to every day. The assortment of pastries and breads they have here is a lot, at least to me lol I love bakeries like this and I'm glad the Portland area is getting more. read more

Oh man, had I knew of this places existence I would have stopped by a lot sooner. I've been to lots of Paris Baguette's and I kept wishing Portland had something similar. Felt like my wish had been granted! This place had a lot of similar pastries to Paris Baguette and everything looked especially yummy. I had to limit my time or else I would have filled up my tray with everything in the place. Best to get their early to ensure that you get what you're looking for. As it gets later their stock runs out as they are not constantly baking. read more

I've been here a few times for their bread and pastries, and naturally wanted to get a cake for an upcoming birthday. It turns out coming in to place a cake order (ie get to the counter without a tray) negates your status as a customer. At the time, I was next in line when a cashier opened. She didn't make an eye contact with me and before I could head over, a customer with a tray swooped in and she started ringing him up. Fine, maybe it was an honest mistake. When it was my turn and I had to go up to that same woman, she looked at me blankly. I said I wanted to order a cake. She said nothing to me and then waved the next guest over. Wtf. Meanwhile, the other girl next to her (who actually knew I wanted to order a cake as I had asked her some questions when I wasn't in line 10 minutes ago) completely ignored us. Tired of being treated like I wasn't there, I had to say, "I'm a customer" before a third person who wasn't even working the counter came to assist me. Like, I get it. Most people here come in for the tray stuff. Either say we need to walk around the store with a tray or else we'll be ignored or treat everyone like a potential customer. To have the first woman not even talk to me when I was explaining that I wanted a cake was beyond insulting. If she had just said something to me, asked a question, anything! It would have been fine. But she just looked at me without a single word the entire time. To note, I was not dressed like a bum or was questionable in any way that would make them not take me seriously. I don't know why I was treated this way. If I hadn't promised my friends I would get a cake from this place for their birthdays, I would have walked out. I'm so disgusted and insulted by their treatment. No one offered an explanation or even lied and said they were confused about what I wanted. I can't believe it is okay for the staff to flat out ignore people. I mean, even if you were kicking someone out of your store, you would say something to them, right? So what are you supposed to do when the staff wouldn't even talk to you when you abided by rules, waited in line, and wanted to make a purchase? read more

This bakery shop is so good They have so much selection of pastries bread and cakes. mostly good tasty and very unique. the display presentation is super perfect very clean but the only problem is the Bread ran out so quickly you make sure to come early. I bought so many birthday cakes here and as always I am very happy. some said it's pricy but the taste the service and the boxes plus free disposable knife and candles are included there's nothing much to think about but just to enjoy the taste. the Cake are always fresh too. As I have said the presentation such as the boxes and ribbons are pretty. Staff are great. And very kind compared to other cake house that I have been . taste of the icing isn't that sugary sweet and the fruits are very sweet even it's not the season but I think they have their own fruit supplier because I can really tell from the taste of the strawberries and blueberries it's too sweet and juicy . They serve green tea. Coffee and other fresh drinks .when I paid I was surprise because this shop doesn't Put any tip in their receipt that means they are more on service and I am very happy with this shop. This bakery is the best! There wide variety of pastries are sooo delicious. They also have cakes, I haven't tried them yet but I will someday. You have to try the tiramisu (if you're into coffee)! We choose to get a sample box which was expensive and way to much for the two of us but we took it home. The chocolate is creamy but not overly sweet. It was perfect with the non sweet dippers in my opinion but the brownies were to much for us. We look forward to coming back and trying more items.

No apologies from the girl directly and it was passive but only from the guy whom I mentioned the issue to. They have a lot of young kids working here and it looks like they work fast but they need to read the ingredients to fulfill the order correctly and to be consistent. I may give this place another try but will be sorely disappointed if they miss the mark again. (FYI- This exact location used to be Nobibi which quickly went downhill and this new business took over.)

My grandson ordered their 'special hot chocolate' which pretty much tasted like watered-down Ovaltine. We sat outside to eat and after a few bites and finding these were nothing like the fluffy Japanese pancakes they'd expected, we threw away $44 worth of what was supposed to be a pleasant breakfast experience. I guess this was a life lesson for the kids, that our expectations aren't always met. And I want to prevent any other adults from making the same mistake I did in taking my business there!

My parents had the dairy-free strawberry and coconut water sorbet and hazelnut cookies and cream in a waffle bowl. My mom is usually indifferent to ice cream but she said this was exceptional. As I walked toward the cart, I saw a dad holding a cute baby girl, so I said hi. The owner, Mod, greeted me at the counter and chatted with me while making my Thai iced tea. During our conversation I learned it's a family operation, the man with the baby was her husband and daughter. Mila Thai has been in business for about a year, and the food truck is named after their daughter, Mila. She also mentioned they have a website: Milathai.square.site and we could order directly from them to avoid the extra fees. I'm all in for supporting local business and I will order via their site next time. When I got home, I devoured the food and the iced tea immediately. The Thai iced tea was fragrant and creamy, yum. The Pad See Ew was still piping hot and the noodles were bouncy and al dente. The flavor was on the mild side, as I did ask for mild because I cannot really handle spicy food. I think it could have used a bit of spice and a little more basil. Overall, I think Mila Thai is very endearing and I'd like to try more of the menu next time.

Stunning cakes that have amazing flavor to boot. The best way to describe their cake (I had the cream cake with fresh strawberries) is like a cloud in heaven itself. It's so light and moist and the cream is so airy, refreshing and light. Not heavy icing like most cakes. Did I mention how stunning they are as well? I paid $6 for a small slice which I thought was pretty steep before taking my first bite. Would gladly spent that all over again. I also got a small loaf (10 slices including ends) of whipped cream pan bread. I haven't tried it yet but it's easily the softest bread I have ever felt. Again, clouds come to mind. Baked daily. Also purchased was a strawberry croissant, sesame donut and red bean donut. All are super soft and fresh. Definitely try them out! read more
