    Coffee Bun and Cheese Tart
    Holly T.

I'm not much of a pastry person. However, while in Malaysia, I stumbled upon two pastries that I absolutely love. Coffee buns and cheese tarts. I've had plenty of coffee buns stateside since, but none compared to over there. Cheese tarts are harder to find and most are just okay. I stumbled upon this place while searching for something on Instacart. I saw that they had both and decided to give them a try. First, the coffee bun is HUGE! And fluffy. So very fluffy. And delicious. It is by far the best coffee bun I've had here. It tastes like coffee and not a barely there, hint of coffee flavor...it was full of flavor. Amazing! The cheese tart was pretty dang good too. But I completely regret only getting one coffee bun now.

    Nutella cake
    Betsy B.

We've had the following 4 desserts; The Nutella cake, the blueberry yogurt cake, the strawberry cake and the dessert pictured that looks like a flaky fillo dough with fruit and cream, perhaps a Bavarian cream? The non cake pastry item was perhaps the best. The Nutella cake would have been better if you could actually taste the Nutella. There was way too little! But it was overall good. The strawberry cake was better in that you could taste some of the filling, but the Nutella cake would have been more my style. The only cake I didn't like was the blueberry yogurt. While you could taste the filling in this one, it just tasted too Americanized with all the salt in it. French desserts are generally less salty and less sweet than American desserts. Sometimes they're rich and dense, oftentimes they are light and airy. We had a hot and cold hazelnut latte. I recommend oat milk, or soy milk if you're watching carbs but not drinking dairy. They were out of soy that day. Almond milk always tastes like water in a latte, not just here, but anywhere. Everyone here is very nice, especially Tahira. She is such a sweetheart; so very kind and patient when I was trying to use my rewards but not sure what I was doing lol. She answered all my questions. While I don't see this as that much of a French style bakery, it's still pretty good.

    Roasted Veggie Goat Cheese Pizzetta

Ambiance: 6/10 concept of a walk up and grab as many pastries is fun. Welcoming setting like any coffee shop. Service: 6/10 nice people Food: 6/10 Roasted Veggie Goat Cheese Pizzetta: 6/10 Nothing here wows me but it's good. would I take people here to impress them, no. If I was walking by would I get something, maybe. I think the pastries are good but average. I liked this dish bc goat cheese and roasted tomatoes are a match made in heaven but when you put it on some sort of bread, you kind of have to buy it even if you aren't hungry.

    Cream puffs
    Bayarea B.

I've bought the cream puffs here several times. I noticed that a few of them, usually the ones at the bottom, don't seem to have as much cream filling compared to the ones on top. At first, I thought it was just a coincidence, but since this has happened almost every time for the past several months, I feel it might be part of how they're prepared. It's a bit disappointing because I really wanted to enjoy them consistently. I had considered asking for a refund, but more importantly, I don't feel as confident purchasing their products again. I value supporting businesses that are transparent and consistent with their customers, and I hope this feedback helps them improve.

Supposedly a Ham & Cheese croissant
    Craig C.

Beautiful window displays of bakery fair. Caught our eye and we went in. I am a big fan of authentic ham & cheese croissants, which for some reason are hard to find in Portland. Many places just slice open a plain croissant and slap ham & cheese inside (and not always gruyère. Some of the less quality so-called bakeries use American cheese. Yuk! So I was very excited to find an authentic baked inside ham & cheese croissant. SADLY, when I got home and cut into it, as you can see by the photos, it was almost impossible to find the ham, and instead of baking the gruyère inside, which melts and marries the wonderful cheese into the dough, making it gooey deliciousness, they sprinkled it on top. Very disappointing. Will not be coming back.

    Many yummy choices

I was between a 3 and 4 star after my first visit. Today made me realize it's probably more a 3, meaning it's okay, I may or may not come back. The pre-made, reheated egg and sausage brioche tasted processed, it lacked flavor and the bun was very oily. The line was long and moved at a snail's pace. But my biggest negative about Paris Baguette is there are no condiments! All those goodies and nothing to complement them. I rarely come across an eatery that doesn't offer condiments. Lame.

Any of your Asian friends will tell you when we say "it's not too sweet," it's a compliment! I love love love Asian cakes for the delicate flavors that don't make you feel sick after eating it. I purchased the blueberry cake for my kid's birthday and it was delicious! They had the option of mixed berry, strawberry, blueberry, and two thanksgiving cakes. I was told the blueberry cake was the sweetest between blueberry and strawberry, but even then it wasn't too sweet. Price wise, a little pricier than Tou Le Jours, hmart, and 85 degree bakery, but probably the most delicious out of the previously mentioned options. I'll have to stop by for their other baked goods when I'm in the area next

Now that the business has decided to outrightly lie - I feel the need to clarify that yes March 2022 I did say that I don't want to be a trouble for the staff since it was just a bad experience and I wasn't looking to get anything from them . However this time around after having burned myself due to spillage because of negligence by the staff , I do want them to own that their staff needs training and is careless and the person responding on their behalf is just bad at their customer service job . I gave my contact details but got no response and followed up and still got no response but the business manager clearly takes the time out to lie so here are the screenshots with dates .

I was thinking of waiting for him, in the car, and just grab a chicken sandwich. But, after he left, I decided to go inside the bakery to browse. He was standing at the corner, reading the menu of the shop, when I called him to 'Come over here!' I didn't know what I just walked in. I've been to Karam Lebanese Deli & Catering many times, usually for take out. A couple times I…read morepicked up catering orders. They are super helpful on the catering orders! Today, my sister and I went to the art store around the corner. After we finished shopping, she mentioned she was hungry. I told her Karam's is around the corner. It was the first time I dined in. What I liked is that you order and pay at the counter. My sister and I ordered and paid separately. I knew what I wanted and the guy at the counter pointed out that they had exactly what I wanted. I wanted falafel over salad with tahini sauce. There was also a lemon dressing. It was vegan and gluten free. The falafels were huge and tasty..some of the best falafels I've had! My sister got a beet salad, lentil soup and coffee. She liked everything she got. I took a taste of her lentil soup, it was good. She took a taste of my falafel. She liked it so much that she got an order of just falafels to go! Most of the chairs in the restaurant were hard wood or metal. I found a couple that were padded. I require padded chairs in my old age..so appreciate that was available! Definitely will be back!

We've driven by this place so many times and today was the day that we finally gave it a try. We…read moreordered our food online and marked it for To Go/pick-up so I can't say much about the ambiance except that the place was empty. There were a couple of employees present and they said hello but that was pretty much it. So I'll just get straight to the point. The food wasn't the best. First, it was overpriced. Second, the lamb was very fatty. Honestly, it's almost like it was scrap meat. The pita tasted underdone and lastly, the Fattoush was off (the lettuce was warm in an old way, if that makes sense, and they completely forgot the pita chips that's supposed to come with it). I don't mean to be so harsh but I'm from Los Angeles so I know what good Mediterranean food should taste like. And maybe it's unfair to even compare... but I feel it's the best and only way to gauge how good a place is, and unfortunately, this place wasn't it. Honestly, the only thing I liked was the basmati rice and the fact that they serve Coca-Cola products. Other than that, I can't recommend this place. Sorry...
