Like, I'll come back again and again for those. And they didn't charge me extra for the avocado, which I think is righteous because I asked for no hash browns. But not all places would do that, they'd nickel and dime even if you passed on one side for another. Additionally; my husband likes a savory breakfast and a sweet one too - so he often gets two breakfasts and though he may not eat all of both he gets that savory and sweet. It is amazing to see a place that started back in the 1950s where the waiting room is full with the historical photos and telling the story of the restaurant. The food and huge portion sizes clearly no change in over 50 years. Even though I am on keto diet, I opted for one cheap-day just to try their food. My favorite is the Dutch Baby. It was perfectly baked, fluffy, and slightly crisp on the edges. It is huge portion and served with whipped cream, lemon, and powdered sugar. The hash browns were another outstanding item, so far the best hash browns i ever had. It's perfectly crispy and homemade. We also tried the cheese omelette, which was rich with sharp aged cheddar. The fluffy buttermilk pancakes came as sides, it's a good match with the syrup and cream. We were far too full to try the famous apple pancake, but I will surely order it on my next visit.
