Showed up and the lady said she was sorry but she sold it. Then she asked if I called that location. Umm. Yes I call that location and spoke to her. She said oh yes. Sorry cake sold. I discovered this bakery only this past summer. Their colorful macaroons are fresh from first bite with just enough sweetness to balance the delicate flavor of a special ingredient be it green tea, lemon, rose etc. I also love their cream bread where the slightly sweet cream is whipped soft and just melts in your mouth. I ordered a mango cloud cake for my husband's birthday and it was the best cake I've had in a long time. I didn't want the usual overloaded sugar cake from typical bakeries so I got the mango cloud and it was incredible. The cake was beautifully decorated and presented in an easy to carry box w/ carry handles on top. Bakery also supplied plastic cutting utensil and candle. The cake was moist, light and delicious. Mango flavor infused w/ just enough sweetness. Instead of the cake weighted w/ heavy frosting, this bakery uses a delectable mousse. I could have eaten the entire cake! My only recommendation would be to cut some of the mango pieces smaller. Other cake flavors are available by the slice...I've tried green tea and mocha. Light and delicious, too. read more

WOW! Uhm this is one of those hole-in-the-wall gems that you're kicking yourself for not finding earlier. I have driven by this dingey strip mall about a million times. It has a chipotle and a mcdonalds--not anything worth stopping for. When we finally tried to find this place, we actually drove by it twice on accident. It's really hidden in this crappy strip mall. This place has wonderful bread, coffee, and pastry options. I've had the red bean bread and the blueberry muffin. The red bean bread is exactly what it should taste like: sweet, soft, and oh-so-delicious. However, the blueberry muffin was the biggest surprise. It is moist and light and has the most delicious blueberry filling sitting right at the bottom. What a wonderful treat. I was actually sad to finish the muffin. I have yet to try their cakes by the slide or their whole cakes but they are really artistic and well done. It's a shame my birthday already passed. I prefer an asian-style cake over the insanely sweet frosting ones you'd find at jewel. In addition, for a bakery, they are also open really late every day (8PM!). Most bakeries in town close after 2-3pm. I can't wait to go back here and try more delicious baked things!!! read more

I would have given 4 stars for good products at this location but now I can only give it a one or two. For charging premium on the $4 breads and having NO WIFI! Even another realtor in my office was saying he'd do a lot of business and client appointments here but there is no wifi to do that. Pointless to go now. I'd rather go all the way to Schaumburg to Handsome Bakery where they have wifi and their breads are delish with soooo many variety and good price. Not worth the the trouble here. This place is a bit pricey, but you pay for the atmosphere, brand name and the fact that it is better than the bread at the Hmart bread store. I've had a number of the breads, the curry bread is good and I do really like the coffee bread. Hard pass on the drinks though, I think a lot of them are made from powders? Can definitely mix 8 drinks of my own powdered drink at that price point. The service is always courteous and their cakes are really pretty and good! When you buy a full cake they are really thoughtful and include a knife and these pretty candles to put on the cake! Like I said, pricey so I guess you pay for those too. But feels good for the person receiving the cake when you open and eat the cake. I feel that this is would be a good place to sit down and do work although I personally never have or seen anyone do so. I have been craving for some sweets/pastry puff for a while now and decided to drop into Tous Les Jours to see if they had any cream puffs. To my surprise, this is one of the best cream puff I've ever had and mind you, I didn't devour it right away - only to eat it the next day. Even having it the next day, the cream puff tasted sooooo good, I'm drooling just from reminiscing on the cream puff. I had many cream puff before and it wasn't as satisfying as TLJ since it was either dry or the cream puff was too sweet or just too much. I also got a variety of croissant and a pain aux raisin. Tons of flavor and amazing coffee *Hot or cold* I especially enjoy stopping in and grabbing some novelty or niche bites to share with friends and family whenever I'm in the area. Accidentally stumbled across this place and oh my everything was so good! :) I picked out a chocolate dipped, ham and cheese and almond croissant. These were perfectly baked and tasted very fresh! I also ordered two lavender honey flavored lattes for my husband and I and we both really liked how well the lavender flavor stood out! I am SO excited to find this place! It's just like the Happy Hippo Bakery in Mitsuwa but with a little more selection and more French-inspired items. Their prices are actually really good--I got a Strawberry-filled Croissant, a Melon Bun, a huge Mocha Bun, and a full-size Coffee Loaf for $13. If you're craving for gourmet bakery, this is the place for you. They have a good selection of pastries, from croissants to donuts, as well as bread, cakes, and French macarons. Shrimp croquette was light and soft, chocolate croissants, pain aux raisins were very authentic (made as well if not better than those in artisanal boulangeries in France). Pastries are made new daily (where the name "tous les jours" meaning everyday!). You can taste the quality and freshness in every bite. Price is on the high end (similar to Whole Foods) however, these are baked fresh daily and are not dry nor too sweet. The macarons were soft and rich and very full of flavor and the croissant was light, flaky and melted in your mouth. Excellent baked goods. I went to this location to get some coffee and do some work. The staff was very rude and couldn't answer simple questions. They are advertising free Wi-Fi on their yelp page. I asked the woman at the register about Wi-fi and she first stared at me blankly before going to ask her counterpart. He said they do not have Wi-Fi and couldn't even turn around to tell me that. Chocolate croissant was stale and overpriced. Stay away. There are much better bakeries around Naperville. read more
