Upon entering I was greeted by Angie , with a smile & welcome. Got a cinnamon roll & an Iced coffee. She asked if I wanted any flavoring? I said cinnamon... Thinking of my cinnamon roll. And, she suggested honey to go with it. Which turned out to be a very great complementary suggestion, thanks for the tip , Angie! Place is very clean. There's a friendly welcoming vibe to it. Washrooms are clean, place is nicely maintained. They do breakfast and lunch here. Plenty of sandwiches , salads to go along with coffee. They use Intelligentsia coffee here. It's a local coffee made in Chicago. I've probably been drinking it for almost 20 years, it's fantastic I love it. Service was good here. Id also like to mention they also have outdoor seating here. I really want to love blackberry market, but for the gluten sensitive it's not the best option. Let me be clear: I love their coffee and the staff is absolutely wonderful, I'm always meet with a friendly greeting, the baristas craft delicious lattes. If I am meeting friends, I'm suggesting Blackberry market 10/10 times. But if I need to get food I find myself struggling to justify ordering here. Honest Gluten free review: they do offer gluten free options which is great, but to get a basic breakfast sandwich it's at least $13.50 without any additions or sides, and to get a gluten free bun you must order a full sandwich. So once I customize with cheeses or aioli (because gf bread always needs a little something something) the sandwich and fruit salad side was $16 + the coffee it's close to $24 and that's just more than I'm willing to spend for a tiny breakfast sandwich. Gluten free folks know the struggle but it doesn't make it any less frustrating. They do offer oatmeal that is gluten free and delicious but I wish they had more cohesive gluten free options and comparable prices. Now with all that said, do I come here at least once a week for a seasonal latte and a pint of the most delicious chicken salad? Yes, yes I do. read more

Best cinnamon rolls ever! I've heard good things about them but thought "really? How good could it possibly be?" I was definitely proven wrong and have had to come here just for cinnamon roll cravings. They serve them warm and they're so fluffy and satisfying. The drinks are delicious and pairs really well with my cinnamon rolls cravings. They're super nice and they bring it out to your table. We just visited the Market for the 1st time. I eat gluten free. There's a large variety of both regular and gluten free food items to choose from.1st time my spouse got BB delicious grilled cheese with bacon. I got GF steel cut oats with brown sugar & cinnamon was so so much different from Starbucks. GF cinnamon roll is da bomb tastes like food used to taste..2nd visit we got a few bakery items. GF Lemon Blueberry muffin was good. Homemade Vegan Nut Free Gluten Free Pesto is the best I've ever tasted. I mixed it in with my gluten free pasta with marinara sauce from Noodles & Co was a complete flavor upgrade! So so good! I had been looking forward to trying this new spot and my mom and I stopped in tonight for dinner. What a nice little spot for coffee, baked goods, sandwiches and salads, as well as some to-go items (a deli case of cold salads and a refrigerated case with items including energy bites, cookie dough, and homemade blackberry jam. Their signature flavor, the blackberry, appears in many items including the yummy blackberry Market salad that I had for dinner, blackberry steel cut oats, homemade biscuits with blackberry jam, and the excellent brownie swirled through with blackberry jam that I had for dessert. Everything we ate was tasty (the salad and brownie, and the avocado club sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie for my mother), but a special shout-out also goes to the staff, who were as gracious and welcoming as can be, particularly Kyle who took our order and checked on us throughout our meal. The shop is small but there is some seating, or you can conveniently take items home for dinner, or as sides or desserts to complement your own cooking. Definitely a spot to return to! read more

I was so excited to see a Naperville location open up, I love the Glen Ellyn spot. My favorite lunch here is to get the market side trio and mix and match from some delish "salad" options. These regularly change but the tuna salad and chicken salad are regular favorites. For breakfast, you cannot miss out on the cinnamon rolls here they are FANTASTIC. The atmosphere is cute and casual, I think the Glen Ellyn location has a better spot for homey local bakery to hang out and sip coffee at, but the Naperville location has the same great food and coffee. read more

Wow - this is a great hidden gem! We've stopped by a couple of Saturday's for a pastry and a coffee on our way to the pool, and this place is SUCH a treat! The service is friendly and efficient, and we are usually in and out of here quickly, though there are a lot of tables that people seem to enjoy settling into and enjoying a relaxing morning at. This location is close to downtown Naperville but in a less congested area. Blackberry Market is next door to an Indian restaurant. This is smaller than the Oakbrook location. Plenty of parking especially away from Trader Joe's. I ordered a crumb cake, Tuscan turkey, and iced coffee. The crumb cake was very good. It was freshly made. Good texture. Iced coffee was decent. I'm not a huge coffee drinker. The Tuscan turkey was good, just an average sandwich. Service was friendly. Now, I do wish that the sandwiches came with something like Panera. A bag of chips or an apple in addition to the sandwich would be a better value for the price. This is about 3 out of 5 for me, even Corner Bakery offers you a free side with your sandwich. read more

Amazing first experience at Blackberry Market! I was really excited to see they opened a new location right opposite nautical bowls. They have a wide variety of selection to choose from - you can order fresh baked goods, curated specialty beverages, they have a frozen section where they bring freshly cooked meals same day, or you can dine in or takeout from their menu. Caprese sandwich - amazing flavor, tomato taste really came out, a bit more bread to filling so would add a bit more tomato but the toast was perfect, side spring greens was a nice start Matcha latte - with almond milk, creamy and not too sweet, my favorite Snickerdoodle - again, appreciate they didn't overdo the sweet, lovely and chewy, would be great paired with coffee and could taste the cinnamon I will say it's a bit confusing to see what their main core menu is without actually coming in, only because their online menu seems to feature everything they offer across locations and seems multiseasonal. Therefore, I came in thinking there would be something they didn't end up having. I imagine they rotate out a lot given their menu across locations or what is available or seasonal. I was impressed with their freezer section items also because things really seem to balance and include protein. They also seem to still be working out their soup of the day and other specials, but they've had a wonderful start! Ive been meaning to check them out. I've been to the other locations and always enjoy blackberry market, SO excited there is now a location in Naperville. This location has outdoor and indoor seating, lots of space for meeting up with friends, working, solo coffee time, etc. Also, in a great location, central to Naperville. We got the drip coffee - which was wonderful. We also tried three desserts - frosted cookie, blackberry brownie, and blueberry muffin. Frosted cookie was my favorite, soft and right amount of frosting. The brownie had something crunchy in it (possibly nuts) and I'm not a fan typically, so for me, that's a no, BUT for those who like nuts/crunch in the brownie, this brownie was decadent and chewy. Servers were super helpful and kind. We did come on a really hot day - so inside was pretty warm, but I'll be back when it's cooler out to enjoy some more coffee and treats. Thanks to Yelp, I found another hidden gem! I've been to their other locations before (LaGrange and OakBrook), and I've always had a great experience. I was so excited when I learned that they're now in Naperville. I love that they're consistent in service and quality across all their locations. I was greeted right away. The service was friendly, accurate and efficient. I had a small cup of decaf - they have a self service coffee area. I tried their Blackberry brownie (heavenly even without warming it up) and a chicken avocado club sandwich. The only con is that they have a limited amount of parking spaces on premise as it is shared parking with other businesses nearby. I was lucky enough to be parked right outside. They have outdoor and indoor dining at this location. Their pastries are made in house, and their sandwiches are also made to order. I'd totally come back when I'm in the area next and would recommend Blackberry Market to anyone. read more

This was a good spot for a nice bakery and coffee grab. The sandwiches were a bit pricey but that's only because I didn't realize it comes with a nice side of sweet potatoes and yellow potatoes! The biscuit was home made and the blackberry jam was a must. Loved the latte and there were plenty of seats. The salads with the blackberries also looked like a must try! Super cute and cozy cafe in Naperville! I saw that they usually have much more fun flavored lattes and matchas, but when I went the salted maple latte was the only one that called to me. (They didn't have the cooler flavored ones LOL). Cinnamon roll was much different any than I've had in the past but was still p good. The space is small but efficient. the service was nice. the offerings were really just meh. came during lunch and tried the 'protein bowl' which sounded like it was a high protein lunch option but it was TINY. i mean i guess for $7 what was i expecting. small, bland. not sure why anyone would want to get this. also tried the rice crispy treat and that was delicious. the matcha latte was good, not great a bit on the sweet side. not sure i would come back to try other offerings, they food here is boring and uninspired, not sure if the quality is enough to return. read more

Came in with from Ohio for a graduation, and this was one of the places I could not leave without visiting. I absolutely love the tuna here, and my meal is not complete without one of their buttery rice crispy treats. (Next time I'm getting at least two or three for the road.) Everything tasted reheated, and barely warm. Biscuit wasn't recently baked. There's no cooking going on, just nuking. You make the order at the counter and take a number back to your seat. They bring you reheated food and then you clear your own dishes. I also got soup and that was pretty good, better than breakfast biscuit. The home style potatoes were soggy. The old fashioned oat meal was bland even though on the menu it said there was cinnamon and brown sugar in it. The avocado toast was good. I love coming to Blackberry Market! The food is always fresh and has just the right amount of spice, sweetness and salt. I love the berry scones, they are perfect as well as the breakfast chorizo wrap. I really can't complain about anything i have tried. The intelligentsia coffee is really good even the decaf and they offer unlimited refills. I have tried the lattes too and they use high quality ingredients whether coffee, match or chai, and are customizable with alternative milks and sweeteners. I am always greeted by friendly employees. I esp. notice Niel and how he is always friendly and welcoming. He makes sure everything is clean, running efficiently and that everyone gets their food as quickly as possible. All the staff seem to work well together as a team, making the dining experience great for the customer. I get a cozy vibe here, and it reminds me of some of the breakfast/coffee places in Brentwood TN, so it makes me feel like I am on vacation when I dine here! read more

Came here twice. First time was a good experience food being decent with the coffee being good. The service was good as well. The second visit was not great. I don't know if it was the owner but it was a tall guy at the register that seemed impersonal and smug taking our order like we were inconveniencing him. Understand if you're trying to rush to get customer orders in but we knew what we wanted to order and were picking out what to add to said orders. Just not pleasant, not saying you have to be bubbly but just bothered by how he spoke to us. I ordered the farmhouse and the food was not hot. I will give them props on the coffee (cold lavender cream ice coffee was delicious) but after that experience I don't think we'll be going back. read more
