1/13/25 Update- THEY HAVE FREE WIFI!!! This is my absolute favorite work space & coffee/tea place. It's HUGE with a rustic/woodsy vibe. Very spacious to find ample seating to avoid being crammed by anyone else. There's a big parking lot on the side of the space as well as street parking right in front. I love the food and the teas. I recently tried a beetroot latte and it was delightful. They make cute shapes with your drinks too hehe. I also tried the Power Bowl with the BBQ tofu & let me tell you- I've been missing out on the amazing flavors!!! I would always peruse through their menu and only order my usual matcha & brookie but their food is certainly worth indulging in. Fresh pressed juices, smoothies, parfaits, & coffees are available to go bottled for your convenience. There's also an assortment of pastries, desserts, & macaroons that people rave about. Great for business meetings, catching up with friends or even a first date link up. Staff is always very helpful and very chill. They all seem to like working there and it shows. See y'all next week haha!!!

Love this place. It is a great place to study or work or just to enjoy a coffee or snack while reading or people watching. The space is beautiful. Hip. Modern. It may seem a little intimidating at first but the staff is friendly and there is plenty of space. The food is pretty good. I've had the burger and the club sandwich. It's all in all a wonderful place to relax, focus and enjoy a cup or coffee or tea.

The menu is the best! You will have many options, healthy, sweet, coffee and tea. I picked the Toast Sample and that's a great choice. The toast was nicely toasted with the very very good toppings. It took me a few minutes tdedecide which drink I would choose because so many of them are flavors I like. I selected the Honey Lavender Latte in ice. That is so, so, so delicious. Me and my friend met here to have a business meeting and the Wi-Fi worked very well as we both had to be on our laptops. Very spacious inside and great service.

Ambiance like i am back in California. Hip modern cafe. Assorted selections. Interesting flavors. Tres leche latte, honey lattes, strawberry cream croissants, etc. No cash! Must use card/ digital. Service is good. Its like a starbucks where they stay behind the counter, so not much to complain. Far to walk from convention center. Not much parking. Little kids can play at the structure outside.

So this isn't my first visit. It's been well over a year, but I have always thought highly of Tout Suite. I was initially just dropping off mail but decided to stick around for lunch. The mango dessert had my attention. This lunch was $30 with tip I believe. Could have been before tip can't remember. Still this is counter service. The place was filled with guest. Every table was occupied but I managed to find a seat at the community table beside an abandoned laptop with a empty green juice glass, and to my left a couple that were finishing up as I sat down. I wasn't pleased with how long it took to pick things up. However, I did notice the guy bussing was having to run food too, and was helping in other areas. I would suggest more floor staff to maintain cleanliness or pull from other areas. This is an expensive lunch to view mess everywhere bathroom included. Now back to lunch. The dessert was just ok. The mango center was delicious but the dry pistachio cake on the bottom took away from the experience. Why was it so dry???? I also didn't appreciate in the unripe mango on top. It was hard and did not add to the dessert. The middle tasted so good but the outer elements played against it. Presentation was nice. That's what caught my eye to order so kudos for that. Note this chicken salad sandwich really hit a nerve. There were more pecans than chicken on my sandwich. Chicken was nonexistent as you can see from the photo. Just bread lettuce that was turning and nuts with grapes or cranberry. I honestly can't even remember. It left no impression. Apple juice was good and cold so it helped wash it down. The side salad dressing I liked the flavor, but wish they would have picked out the lettuce that was turning. It really ruined my appetite. I was really surprised by the outcome of my order and visit. These are simple fixes I hope can be remedied in the future. Your price point needs to be reflected in the food and service in order to improve customer feedback and overall experience.

I really like this coffee shop, which has an interesting history--it used to be a Ford dealership, then an oil change shop, followed by a nightclub, and now it's this fantastic coffee spot. They offer a great selection of delicious pastries and macarons, along with a variety of coffees and teas. The best part? They also serve wine! It's a great combination. For breakfast, we tried the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken, as well as the Cecina con chilaquiles. Both dishes were excellent. The shop has plenty of tables, making it a perfect place to enjoy your meal or relax with a book. The only downside is that parking is limited, and there are a lot of homeless people across the street. While it's a sad reality of the city, they don't bother you. We enjoyed our visit so much that we went back the next day!

It's a nice downtown spot for working. Full food menu. Array of drinks from smoothies to coffees and teas. I think the staff could have been a bit nicer. It was my first time and I was trying to decide what all to order and they seemed impatient even though there was literally no line and I was standing off to the side and indicated I wasn't ready to order yet. My smoothie took a long time to come out. Orders for people who came after me just kept coming out. I eventually had to ask about it. The banana bread and crème brûlée were just ok. The creme brûlée had an odd texture/consistency. The prepackaged honey oat latte was pretty good. My green goddess smoothie was good. The large windows and just vibe are cool. I'll go back and hope for a slightly better experience.

I love the macarons at tout suite! If you're in college, this is a great place close to campus to study. Theres usually plenty of table space for books, though not sure if they fill up quickly here! My favorite thing to get here are the macarons, which you can get on their birthday sale once a year. Happy eating :)

I came in on the coldest Friday ever. I have tried their matcha before but today I wanted soup and a grilled cheese. They ran out of their delicious tomato soup so I changed my order last minute to the club sandwich. The sandwich comes with fries and Y'ALL, this sandwich is sooo good. It is gourmet and worth the money. And what's up with their ketchup!? It's for sure house made. I need the ketchup in a bottle for my house! So good! They have so many food and dessert options for all day. Come and plug your laptop in and try their food. It's always busy here when I come but people are more than willing to share their tables and chairs.

We love visiting this place! Their acai bowls have been our favorite, and their Southern Benedicts are delicious and packed with flavor. Another standout is their avocado toast, and my nephew and niece can't get enough of their strawberry and cream croissant. Everything was great! However, I've heard they might be adding sugar to their acai bowls, which could affect their healthiness. I'll confirm this during our next visit to ensure we're making informed choices. Despite being very busy, the service was good. The place is spacious and can accommodate a lot of people. We also enjoyed their cappuccino and latte, though the cappuccino cup could use a better handle for easier enjoyment.

The menu was the first thing that made me give this place a chance. It had many yummy looking options with a coffee shop vibe. The ambiance was perfect; chill, low lighting, not very noisy, easy to work in vibes. However, the food was just ok. Nothing really special or great tasting. The Mac and cheese was very simplistic and didn't have much to it. Kind of felt I was eating Kraft with some regular cheese added. The Brussels sprouts were cooked well but had this lemony ending that just made them inedible. And lastly the quesadilla wasn't brought out how it was ordered (paid extra for loaded) and when told they never brought corrected. The immunity boost drink was AMAZING and totally recommend. But the matcha latte was not sweet and had an excess of powder that it became super clumpy at the end and tasted weird. One recommendation I would make to their employees. Ask everyone if they are using the WiFi so that they know to get the receipt, I was not aware and didn't get it. This is my first time coming here so I would not have known that if I hadn't overheard someone else say it. Or put a sign somewhere by the register.

Very cute brunch and dessert spot. The crème brûlée bites were my favorite. They are about two bites which are perfect if you're wanting to sample a few things. I also tried the key lime pie. Not too sweet but the perfect level of sugar to where you don't feel like you're immediately getting a cavity. Also had brunch. I tried the French toast and breakfast sandwich. The French toast was simple but okay. The sandwich was a little messy. I wasn't a fan of the bacon, almost as if It wasn't freshly cooked . I would've preferred a different bun as well. The hamburger bun was out of place for breakfast.

Just had breakfast here with two other people. We were all impressed with the food. The location is directly across from tent city but the homeless population right across the street seems oblivious to the cool little restaurant. Maybe they've worked out a deal with them but when we were there people were enjoying their breakfast on the patio and the homeless stayed across the street. Everyone that worked here was super friendly and they work together as a team to keep things running smoothly. Our food was all really good! I had the classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast. All cooked as ordered and very tasty. My cappuccino was really good and they had a touch of cinnamon as I had requested. Yum! The southern eggs Benedict was super delicious. Cornbread fritters topped with chicken tenders and a yummy gravy! It came with a side of potato wedges that were the perfect amount of crispy to accompany the dish. The oatmeal was good and topped with a banana and berries with a sprinkling of chia seeds. The regular drip coffee was really good too. I like this place. Even in the middle of the bad part of Houston it's a little oasis of yummy and relaxation. read more

I stopped by your suite this morning because it was the closest open coffee place downtown and decided to get an açai bowl while I was there. Well to my surprise, the blueberries in the açai bowl were moldy. Of course I took it to go so I couldn't point it out to them and I didn't even see them until I had already started eating. For $12+ for an açaí bowl I expected the fruit to at least not be actually rotten. My friend also got an açai bowl which also contained moldy blueberries. They're still enforcing the no WiFi or laptops at brunch policy btw - signs everywhere. Seems ridiculous considering how many people were in there. read more

Rode here with my buddy and his truck was broken into in the parking lot. They smashed the windows out. Several baristas said yeah it happens all the time. The coffee shop doesn't care and will not release the security footage of the break in. Makes me wonder if their employees are involved somehow. The coffee is good, but so are a million other places down the street where you won't get robbed. I would choose one of those. read more

Tout Suite offers a really great coffee ++ experience, including their delicious juices, macarons, pastries, and full menu with wine/beer. They are open long hours, making a great environment for a casual meet-up at any time of day. I personally love their avocado toast best, and their macarons are delicious (though a bit pricey). Last week, I went for their $1.11 macaron day and tried a lot of flavors. Tout Suite can get really crowded, especially on the weekends, and it can be difficult to find seating. Parking is not usually a problem, since they have a free parking lot + street spaces. The counter-service lines can get a bit confusing at times, as to which lines are open and when. Overall, I think Tout Suite is a great place. The prices and crowdedness are the only aspects that prevent me from coming here more regularly. read more

They offer great coffee, baked goods, good food and place to get work accomplished! They're located in EADO on Commerce St. You'll find people from all walks of life patronizing this cafe. They have a free parking spaces in the front of the establishment which is awesome for downtown. Now onto the food! Can we take a moment to admire how gorgeous that French toast is?! I was going to work downtown Houston in the evening. I was looking for some lunch&coffee break spot. I found here. Actually, I had been to Tout as an UberEats driver. I used the QR code to download the menu. I ordered the chopped salad. The name was " Chopped" I thought they gave me some chopsticks for an Asian man. Sadly, they gave me folk&knife.LOL. The salad was well-chopped by their karate chops. It was well done. The coffee was okay. But it was three bucks. It's much much higher than Mac Cafe. I stayed here for roughly one hour. It was a great coffee place. It was very expensive. It cost me $20 including taxes and tips. I am a very poor Asian man. Downtown is very expensive! If I had eaten at McDonald's It would have cost me $8 ( $1 coffee+ $6 salad + taxes + $0 tips)! read more

Came here for some after dinner dessert and warm drinks. The service was not the best but their food and tea made up for it. The red velvet cup cake was very moist, not overly sweet and very cute little heart on the top. The atmosphere is also nice, very relaxed coffee house with an industrial twist. Look forward to trying out some more sweets! read more

Me and my partner ordered the PSL w Pecan cold foam and a lavender latte. it was very creamy and were the right amount of strength. We also ordered the strawberry and cream croissant along with the ham and cheese one and they were just so flakey and delicious. They were all very nice and came by to pick up plates when people were done with their meals. I came for a study session and they have a long bar table with outlets to charge your laptops. They only offer wifi for 2 hours and the password is on the receipt but the wifi was mediocre since so many people use it. It has a decent amount of lighting and big windows on one side of the building. Overall its a nice place to study and the coffee was decently priced. Would come back to try one of their meals. read more

i have to say i have been here a couple of times and i have tried a variety of plates. Here are my thoughts so far: first, this is a good place to socialize and study, if only the wifi were stable. every time i have been here i have a had a lot of trouble with the wifi going in and out and it made it really difficult to get work done. the food: i've featured the vegan tacos, frites, chicken sandwich, and the pesto pasta (now bow tie, this is an old photo) food is sub par. the frites were not very good and the ketchup just tasted like crushed tomatoes. vegan tacos were ok, they were a little dry and could use more flavor. I will say that I enjoyed them the next day as my leftovers, however. the pesto pasta was good at first, but then it became increasingly noticeable how heavy and creamy the sauce is. i think the plate could be dramatically improved if the cheese/cream sauce were less overbearing. finally, the fried chicken sandwich is actually something i would recommend. i cant eat fried chicken anymore but i've tried it and a lot of my friends order it and they are always impressed. read more

Used to love coming here to work or study but it's definitely changed quite a bit. To get access to Wifi, you need to purchase something, which is understandable; however, getting only TWO hours of wifi per purchase is ridiculous. I now understand why this place isn't busy anymore. Their prices have skyrocketed as well. $6 for a latter is kind of ridiculous. Their desserts and food is good but I doubt I'll be coming here as frequently as I used to. read more

Tout suite is my favorite go to. Cool spot to work or study but never mind that because it's all about the food. I've had several items from the menu; avocado toasts, açaí bowl, tomato soup and grilled cheese, green goddess wrap, french fries, farm plate, crème brûlée. All 9/10 but my obsession is the caesar salad with added salmon 1000/10, a bit pricey for a salad but worth every penny and they can keep taking my money for it. I literally go here anytime I'm craving a comforting dish, there's so many delicious choices! read more

Pretty big place, plenty of space to be creative. When you walk in the bathrooms are to the right, its an interesting layout. It's a communal bathroom; When you walk through the sliding door the sink is right in front of you, men's bathroom is on the left, women's on the right. The coffee is good, their French macarons are good. read more

One of my favorite spots for coffee and treats. I'm a huge pastry fan and Tout Suite always hits the spot. I love getting a flat white with a pastry on the side and this time I went with their GF/CBD chocolate chip cookie (Such a hipster move, I know) and it was SO good. I'm an OG chocolate chip cookie lover who has no need for the GF aspect but that cookie was on point. The coffee is always so good and every pastry I've had was perfection. There is a private parking lot around the side, but there's no covered walkways to get inside so prepare for the weather. Parking spots up front are available but limited as some new clothing shops have opened up next door. The indoor seating is really nice. You can sit by the bar area where they pass out beverages or take a few steps down into a beautiful naturally lit searing area. Plenty of group seating and single seats with plugs for all the workaholics out there. Public bathrooms are available but not always suuuper clean. Last time I went in, both stalls were out of toilet paper. It also threw me off a little as there is no real separation between men's and women's stalls. It's a shared sink area and you either walk to the right side of the bathroom for women's and left side for men's. Overall, I love the place. I always have great service and an even better cup of coffee. Last bit! Try the macarons. They're SO delish. read more

Oh man oh man! This is probably my first time writing s negative review ever for anyone. Boyfriend and I came here this noon for lunch/brunch kind of thing. Ordered the taco plate, club sandwich with whole wheat bread, iced americano with almond milk, hot almond milk decaf latte and their strawberry crème croissant. Club sandwich came out with MOLDY BREAD YALL! And i ate half of ituntil my bf noticed it. Took it back to the coffee bar told them not sure if this is mold or what? The guy just took the tray from me and left to the kitchenhad to wait for a while then he came back and looks at me and he's like yeah sorry we checked it was in fact MOLD :)! Would you like another one? Im like no thanks! Just a refund please! They took my number to text me when the refund has taken place. 5+ hrs later no msges from them yet. Del tacos give better tacos than this!!! Iced americano with almond milk came with suspended almond milk residue in the drink ( the kind where the milk used to be frozen and has thawed now). Honestly one star for the decaf latte and the croissant! But honestly i cant really attest to the cleanliness of the kitchen so , have it at your risk but PLEASE DONT! Apart from the food, the vibes were off from the beginning! phone was dead and asked the barista if they have any charger, and she said im sorry we dont have any extra one! Girl didnt ask if you have anything extra! Simply attain to customers needs cant be that hard! Certainly other places are doing it. So not only your food comes with mold, expect a little side of attitude as spice with it too along with seeing staff serving you with a sense of self entitlement. Overall not a pleasant experience at all! Bad food, bad coffee, not clean, not organized, and dysfunctional team as it seamed. Definitely would not recommend and will not come back here again! read more

If 'Not Worth It' was a coffee shop. This is hands down THE slowest coffee shop in Houston. The things that are pleasant about the coffee and food are definitely downgraded by the length of time it takes to get anything in this place. There are too many really good shops in east downtown and downtown to frequent Tout Suite. read more

I had an opportunity to eat at Touts for the first time and that salmon burger was awesome. The atmosphere was super laid back and collegey a lot of people working from computers. The practice social distancing and a very quaint place to eat and enjoy urself. I'm going back to try a few more tastings and I would suggest you go check em out as well. The food extremely reasonable and delicious all in the same breath. read more

I walk in around 8:45 am and started to order pastries for the office ($50.00 worth) Upon checking out the cashier advised us that she had no money, cash drawer or change. The reason being that they were behind and were unable to make it to the bank. I find this very hard to believe further more very dissatisfying to known that I was unable to support small local business due to small minded thinking. There was no effort from your establishment to either get change or have a solid reason as to why they were unprepared. Simply "I don't have change, sorry"! This was my first time and last, thank you. read more

Tout Suite is one of my favorite bakery/cafe/study/coffee spots in Houston! We frequently came here during our college years at UH since it was nearby. But even after college is over, Tout Suite remains to be one of our go to spots in Houston. This review is specific to their recent $1 macaron day. Yes, you read that right, $1 MACARONS! Tout Suite makes some of the BEST macarons in Houston, and whenever they go on sale for $1 you know everyone will be rushing to come here. Luckily for us, Tout Suite comes prepared for this huge influx in people coming for macarons. They have it very organized to where you fill out your order on paper, get in the first line to pay, then get in the second line to receive your artfully crafted macarons. I'll admit that during peak rush times, you will be waiting in line for awhile, but rest assured they make enough quantities for everyone to get their fill. Some of my favorite macaron flavors include creme brulee, champagne, churro, rose, honey lavender, and pistachio. But their full list of macaron flavors almost seems endless, its hard to pick only a couple. I can't wait for $1 macaron day again, I'm craving them just thinking about them! I'll start off with positives. Coffee is good, i mean it's coffee. A cappuccino isn't that hard to make and they make a decent one. The food however is extremely mediocre. You'd think a restaurant in the heart of a homeless camp would either have great pricing on food, or the food would be incredible to attract customers. This place misses on both. The food sucks and is wayyy over priced. Imagine paying $13 for a tiny avocado toast that has rotten avocado bits. The hash is a joke, tiny bowl with a single egg and hardly any meat. If you're on that side of town and don't mind the homeless go for a coffee, skip the food. read more

The food was great. Good pastries and fresh juices. The macarons were great too. The service wasn't so good though. There was a particular cashier who freaked out when my family walked in. We were a large party and she repeated yelled for us to stop crowding another patron and yelled that if we were not ordering food to stand back behind a sign. That was alright, I'm sure she was just doing her job, so we calmly explained we were a large party so we were all ordering. That's why we stood by the display to pick our pastries. But then she opened up another register for other patrons behind us to order and in turn to crowd us in return. That was a little petty. We didn't engage with this cashier anymore, no need to continue the rude behavior. We remained polite, got our food and left, but this cashier rubbed us the wrong way. read more

Horrible customer service. Person taking our order didn't greet us and barely asked us normal questions for taking an order. Waited 30 minutes for a latte when the establishment was completely empty and fully staffed. The staff there all looked as if they were in a bad mood.. 0/10 recommend. & when we would ask about my latte they kept telling me it was next, but I kept getting ignored. The awful staff and horrible customer service honestly made my experience just awful when all I wanted was coffee and a pastry. Go support other local coffee shops. They deserve it, not Toute Suite. read more

Taking a lunch break and want to get out just outside of downtown? Tout this hipster location to friends to get some work done or grab a drink/food. It's not a quiet place to do some thinking work, but it does make a good meetup location. I had my headphones up to like 80 percent and I could still hear the background clamor. There are large tables for group work, high bar type tables, there are also some comfy chairs in the lower lounge portion. The macaroons (or macarons as their menu say) are a nice deal some days you can get one for free actually and they have so many interesting flavors. You can grab some in-house juices and bottled beverages, as well. The espresso machine also pours some great café everytime I go here. The food choices are surprisingly large. I have only had the avocado toast, which was a snack and had a little spice with red pepper flakes which was nice. I don't think it worth the $9.50 price tag, but the açaí or superfood bowls look huge, so I might try that next time! read more

If you google " modern coffee shop" you'll see this coffee shop on your screen. I love the scenery, it feels like i am in a stick photo from pinterest. Moving on to the drink, i got a iced matcha latte and let me tell you it was so good! it tasted like heaven on earth. for my main dish i got french fires with bacon and cheese and they were so good and not too cheesey. They also have a lot of baked good that are perfect for an instagram picture. read more

I was honestly expecting more but the food was mid at best. It was my first time trying a salmon toast and avocado toast at an establishment. It was a very disappointing first experience. I will stick to making them at home. The ambiance was nice though very communal, the service wasn't bad either. read more

This place has a very trendy ambiance. Food is a bit over price but it's good. Their desserts look so good. The place is spacious so there are plenty of seatings. Parking is quite limited and since it's right across from the 59 bridge. There a lot of homeless people there makes it seems not too safe. Just my own opinion. read more

Im really disappointed in today's visit to Tout. I've been a customer for years now and have raved about them to family and friends. I usually walk out of there very satisfied and relaxed, however today the orange juice did not taste like freshly squeezed orange juice should taste. ( I'm a regular customer of tout juices and am 100% familiar with the taste of what a real fresh squeezed orange juice should be) I politely made it aware to the staff that the juice did not taste freshly squeezed she directed me to who I believe is the manager who without any hesitation immediately said no it's fresh and that there was nothing he could do. Probably the best almond croissant and latte I have ever had. I went back to back brunch days because the food was so good. I got a classic with French toast the first day and chilaquiles the next. We always visit Sweet but it was our first time here. We were kind of confused how they worked things but we got through. Ordered a bunch of stuff coffees, macaroons, cake truffles and cookies. This place is both delicious and a great place to work IF you arrive either before Noon or after 3pm. It's quite busy during the hottest part of the day, not surprising I guess. I first discovered this place during a Caffeine Crawl - - yes, laugh all you want, but it's awesome. Due to the caffeine crawl, I decided to take some "me time" here. And, I LOVE that there are daily specials! Monday - Macrons, buy 3 and get 1 free (I've never made it here on a Monday, but maybe next week) Tuesday - 2 cake truffles for $2 (I had a yummy cookies and cream and chocolate) I'll be back for these - - yum!! Wednesday - Wine and Cake (this didn't appeal to me at 10am) Thursday - Tea and Tapioca for $3 (hope to return for this too) Friday - $4 Affogato or Juice Flights (I need to make it here on a Friday soon!) I also love how many places there are sit comfortably with access to water, coffee, napkins and outlets! Sometimes the best coffee/dessert shops are missing outlets. Went there today for the first time for brunch. So many businesses have been closed due to Winter storm URI. I had been wanting to try them for a while and just never made it over. My friend suggested this place instead of tacos so I was happily surprised by the variety they offered. Im a picky eater who doesn't eat beef or pork and sometimes menus are limited for me. I got the breakfast BLT with potatoes instead of salad because I was worried about how they would wash the lettuce. Then realized they have arugula on the sandwich so it really didn't matter. Anyway. The breakfast sandwich comes standard with fried green tomatoes, a sunny side up egg, bacon and a chimichurri sauce on a brioche bun. I subbed for Turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and it was really good. I had a hard time deciding what to eat because everything liked so good. My friend told me she went there everyday for a month when she was studying and got something different almost everyday. They have pastries, coffee, and food. The environment is cool and the design of the place feels open and spacious. You can watch the baristas make your latte and enjoy the colorful pastries and macaroons on display. I can't wait to go back and try the bread pudding and cbd vegan cookies. There truly is something for everyone here. Now I see what all the hype is about. My only question was about the to go coffee cups. My friend ordered a latte and asked for it in a to go cup instead of the mug they provided and she got a little backlash from a barista telling her to go talk to the cashier bc it's a charge. For a first timer, I'd like to know something like that before paying. Overall a good experience with tasty food and great ambience. I love this place. I try to visit every time I come to Houston. From delicious coffee, to amazing baked goods, to my favorite salad, it never disappoints. Today I visited and had the Caesar salad with chipotle tofu. Perfection! I had a green tea to drink. As we were leaving I decided to get a coffee for the road. I selected the café sua da and it is one of the best I've ever had. I also got three macarons to eat later: strawberry, salted caramel, and cookies and cream. I went to the door and went in. It's a very minimalist space and the decor of cold concrete floors matched the attitude and personalities of the people working that day. I was never graded, and there were a couple people sitting, waiting for coffees... There was no menu to be seen at first glance but I have a very simple order that I had in my mind because I like espresso and not sweet sugary drinks. I walked up to the register and there was a young girl who just looked at me like I was bothering her her by being in front of her. She never smiled, and she just waited for me to order. I told her good morning and she replied "Morning"...barely opened her mouth, not welcoming (or sincerity) and no smile. My order was simple.: three shots of espresso, 2 ounces of half-and-half and caramel drizzle mixed in the espresso. She looked at me weird and said ...so you want a latte? I said no not at all because I only want 2 ounces of half-and-half. I don't want all the milk of a latte. She didn't look down at the computer and kind of looked behind at a barista, and then looked back at the computer and said we do our shots in doubles .... Meaning she wouldn't give me only three shots I had to buy four. I thought that was interesting since other local shops indulge me without an issue, but I agreed to four shots. She asked me if that was it and I said yes..... I was very surprised but paid over $10 for my order of one drink! I paid because honestly, I was already ready to get out. I paid and I waited about 15 minutes for my coffee, even though there was only one person waiting for their coffee before me. I got my drink and left before tasting it. It was awful. The pull was not done well and the coffee tasted almost sour. Ugh. I was so disappointed. The very next day, my coworker said give it another try maybe it was just an off day . She also said she'd buy my coffee to make up for it so I couldn't turn that down This time I went a little bit later there was about three people in line before me. They had a lot more staff working probably about five people in total versus three the previous day. There was a different girl to front who took my order and was the total opposite of the lady the day before; bright eyed, kind and very welcoming. My coffee was still over $10 and this time it took me 35 minutes to get my coffee. I don't know if they had DoorDash orders or what, but I couldn't understand why there was a lot more workers and it took double the time to get my coffee. Once I got my coffee, it did taste better than my first visit, but still had a little bit of sour taste... Not as much as before though. Even if it ended up tasting better, I could not validate paying $10 for my coffee and waiting up to 35 minutes for it.. Especially when I can go to any of my other local coffee shops that I normally frequent for a less than $5 coffee (that only has three shots that I want) and the great service and flavor is always consistent. I never want to see any business fail. So I hope that the owners will discuss the importance of consistency in making their product, as well as being hospitable. I was there around 9:50p on 8/25/2020 to relieve some sweet tooth. It's been awhile that i have been here since the pandamic. We ordered 2 cakes & 1 milk tea. The price came out to be 0.50 more than the menu. I called it out, during check out, but the cashier (manager) just said they're updating the menu and the price is $5. I wanted them to honor the price of the menu, but since it was a date, I let it go and just purchased it. After reviewing my receipt, i also saw the "HIDDEN CHARGES" of "COVID SURCHARGE", thats when I couldn't let it go. I had to bring it up to the manager's attention. Manager's name is DANNY, DANIEL (He had yellow hair with clear pink round glasses). I brought up the issue that they should at least honor the price on the menu. All he kept saying was that they were updating the menu and the price is shown on the POS system. The price is different. I stated that at least the first thing he should do is apologize. AND GUESS WHAT HE SAID.. He stated " I'M NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE AND WILL NOT HONOR THE $4.50. I APOLOGIZE IT COMES OUT TO BE DIFFERENT BUT I'M NOT GOING TO APOLOGIZE TO YOU" ... Yes. He said he was the GENERAL MANAGER. What a WORTHLESS GENERAL MANAGER because he has no authority to do anything. He told me i could EMAIL info@toutsuite to file a complaint. I was very upset... and obviously he couldn't understand so I gave him an ANALOGY so he could comprehend WHY I'M SO ANGRY OVER THE STUPID $0.50. It's like going to a McD, and ordering a hamburger that said $5 on the MENU, and you get to the check out and they say its $6 because they didn't have time to update the menu.. His response was "Oh well, i still can't do anything for you". TILL THE LAST MOMENT HE DIDN'T APOLOGIZE EVEN THO I ASKED HIM TO AT LEAST APOLOGIZE TO ME. THIS PLACE IS BADDDD BUSINESS. OWNERS SANDY TRAN AND ANNE LE . GET YOUR TEAM TOGETHER AND YOU GUYS NEED TO RETRAIN AND REPLACE THE MANAGERS. This is crazy that they are charging more than what is stated on their menu. for the COVID SURCHARGE.. ok it's tough time for everybody but don't hide it !! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! My boyfriend and I haven't stopped coming here since they opened a week ago. I usually grab an iced vanilla latte before work, and they serve Greenway my favorite! My favorite dinner item is the fresh farm pick. I get steak, corn, and cilantro rice. My favorite snack item is the mac and cheese. My boyfriends favorite is the steak sandwich with suite fries. I also really appreciate that they have separated recycle bins, and most of the products they use are eco friendly. This place also has a very warm and cozy feeling at night. Which is perfect for a date, or a late night study shesh (they're open till midnight). Speaking of studying, they have these large tables for shared seating, outlets are everywhere, and there is wifi. People that are experiencing slow service probably go while they are super busy during the weekends. We drove past Tout sunday morning, and the lines were out of BOTH doors! Long lines mean a long wait, people that have worked in the food industry sometimes are more understanding. My advice is to go during a weekday evening, or morning if possible! Terrible service and rude behavior! We visited this place this afternoon at 3 PM and ordered a two smoothies and an acai protein bowl and a cup of tea. Of course the tea was served fast. Then the wait started. At 3:25 PM, we had to enquire about our order and they served the smoothies. We were still waiting for the acai bowl and they said it is still being prepared at 4 PM,. On our way out after patiently waiting for an hour we asked if we could just cancel the order. As the person in our group who had put the order on her credit card had left for another meeting, they said we could not cancel. They had even made a mistake in the order. At that point one server behind the counter who claimed he was the manager exhibited extremely rude and low-level behavior. Instead of owning up to the poor service, he said there was a glitch and he did not have time to talk and we should leave! I am complaining to the management/owners about this particular individual. What kind of employees do they hire ! I would have given a 0 star rating, if one was available in the rating system. read more

I have visited this place for lunch and I was really disappointed in the service I received from the manager, Alyssa. I ordered a half grilled cheese sandwich with a Caesar salad and did not like the way it tasted. I proceeded to the counter to ask if I could exchange it for a different sandwich and was willing to pay for the difference. The first girl I spoke with at the counter said it would not be a problem to switch sandwiches then, Alyssa came up and said something completely different. She told me how "it was not their problem" that I did not like the sandwich and that they do not exchange food. She did not even give the option of a refund, she was just blatantly rude to me and showed no empathy. Even after my friends received their food, no one came to me to make sure the situation was resolved even though I had talked to several staff members. Before we left, I did finally receive a refund for my sandwich and asked for your information because I do not feel that any customer should be treated in the way that I was today. read more

earlier today i came here hoping to try something new and yummy since so far everything ive had in the past had been good (their macarons and teas) i ordered the mango passion, s'mores pot de creme, and the aloe vera, orange, & cayenne tonic water which was about $15 the mango passion was good but it wasn't something i would come back for it had cream cheese under the layer of glaze which made the dessert too rich i was hoping that the dessert would have had a mousse like texture but instead it was sort of hard/sticky overall it still had the fruity taste of passion and mango that i was looking for as for the s'mores pot de creme, this was very disappointing all i tasted was extremely dry crumbles of graham crackers and lots of sweetness from the marshmallow cream i would never order this again lastly the tonic water was awful all i could taste was cayenne and a hint of orange definitely not worth ordering at all i don't think i would ever come back to tout suite for desserts again read more

First time visiting, I was on a team lunch with coworkers. I had no idea what to expect other than it was a "very hipster" type of spot. I wasn't disappointed in that regard. The atmosphere is very hipster, so consider yourself warned, but the staff is extremely friendly and not at all stuffy or unconcerned. They went out of their way to be helpful about explaining the menu options and helping me get inside the bathroom (I was confused). I ordered the hanger steak frites and a tiramisu cupcake. The hanger steak is the only reason this review is short a star. It was not great. Tough with not much flavor that the sprig of rosemary didn't help. The fries (aka frites) were fine, and the cupcake was one of the best things I've ever had in my mouth. EVER. It was seriously delicious. Not too sweet, light, velvety goodness. You won't be disappointed with any of the dessert options in this place which is what they are known for. read more

The shells lacked that signature almond flour consistency, and the filling resembled cold buttercream. Still, the flavors matched their labels well, just a touch sweeter than I typically prefer. The chocolate chip cookie, on the other hand, was a hit--rich, thick, and layered with intense chocolate flavor. Definitely one for serious chocolate lovers. The female managers attitude sucks and to top it off, I witnessed them fire a young girl who seemed to have done nothing wrong, and when she tried to sit and wait for her ride, they banned her and kicked her out to sit outside in the cold. Might i add that there were some sketchy individuala outside. The girl looked no more like 17-18 years old. Shame on them for treating a young person and a LADY at that like that. I used to be a fan of this place and today happened to be in the area. I went in with my family and apparently the cashier was new and made several mistakes in our order. Kindly I asked for my food to be warmed up and for our missing latte to be prepared since it was missing (due to the cashier). Someone who called herself manager, but after doing some research found out it was the owner, was very rude and lacked customer service. I'm so disappointed that a local shop would treat their clients this way. I tend to go local, but after today, I won't ever visit this place again. Terrible management! there is a video circling around on the internet of one of your managers firing an employee for having PTSD. in the video, the manager yells at the employee and tells her that she is no longer hired by Tout Suite and that she "uses her PTSD as a crutch." VERY VERY unprofessional, ableist, and rude. i will never spend my money at this establishment, and from other reviews, i don't think i'd want to. TO OTHER CUSTOMERS / PERSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS/PTSD : find a better place where the management will treat you and others with the same issues as real people, not nuisances. read more

This place is about 40 minutes from house , and I would drive that long to get one of their Acai bowls .Never again!! The service has become so poor is not worth it. 4 people behind the counter to pick up a to go order ( which was ready ) and not one of the employees acknowledge us , after 15 minutes of waiting , I walked to the other side and the person there told me to return to where I was standing and someone would help me. I always come there with children. They like this place very much and me too. It has a good location for us. The pastries they sell are very tasty and always fresh. But I can not tell such good words about the juice. It is not very good, as for me. The place is clean and looks stylish. The workers are clever, friendly and polite. This is the place has a pretty expensive price for their dishes, but as things turned out pretty worthy of it. I was here at the past weekend with my girlfriend and we were welcomed nice staff. There is good menu and if you can't fast to make choice like me, waiters ready to help it. We ordered cupcakes and it was both good in taste and appearance. After a lot of press and hype I finally checked this place out. The space is very well built out minus the Formica tabletops (should have gone with repurposed wood) and use of the old building. Staff was friendly. Ordered the avocado toast and the migas. Both were good, would say the toast being the better choice if we had to choose. Coffee was the reason for the two stars. I really like the fact that everything is freshly made around here. The coffee is superb, and it's simply a great place to have brunch with the girlfriends. yes the service is slow, but it's because they MAKE the food for you, not only unàckage it. It's fine by me, as long as the quality is good. And with them I really can't complain much. This place is delicious! I was visiting my sister in Houston, and she suggested that we go here for breakfast and she couldn't have picked a better place. The avocado toast was delicious and the coffee bean roast was perfect, not too acidic, like most breakfast places. I am giving this business a 1 star because they are the same owners and management of the Space HTX. The owner called my phone harassing me after I left a negative review on Yelp. I told her I was in class and she insulted my intelligence by saying "oh you're getting an education". The event Manager Shawna Noriega will harass you and your guest to no end.
