Great urgent care...I was travelling and visited with a sick toddler. They were quick and had a good bedside manner.

Though I see this page has not been "claimed," as of yet I want to be the first to leave a review…read morefor when it does. I was having an an extremely frustrating experience with a collections agency (go figure) for this company representing Doylestown Emergency Physicians, "AR Resources." One word about "AR Resources," They treated me very poorly and would not listen. I realize they are a collections agency and they need some leeway as far as being "jerks," but this very much surpassed. I'm just going to leave it at that, I will write a separate review- was frustrated because I knew I was right. By the way unless there has been a lot of complaints about this collections agency I do not blame Lisa Smith, the amazing woman who helped me; in the context of business people I have dealt with over the years she really is. In addition I don't blame Doylestown Emergency Physicians PC as an entity for their (AR Collection's) behavior. I'm virtually positive they hired a collections agency for their billing and, from the vibe I got from Lisa Smith, I'm very certain that Doylestown Emergency Physicians did their due diligence to do make sure they don't have a bad rep and that they do their best and are ethical. Nevertheless I would be remiss if I didn't state that a different agency; a kinder gentler collections agency. Anyway without going into details I will just say I got frustrated and finally "went to the top," which is pretty much what you should do when you need help. I don't care what kind of entity it is, why not deal with the person at the top who is most qualified to help you? At the very least they will direct you back down the ladder to the person most qualified. Anyway the person I went to at "Doylestown Emergency Physicians PC," was LISA SMITH I'm not sure of her exact title I believe she is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) or the equivalent within that organization. FINALLY someone was able to help me, and with lighting speed no less. LISA SMITH was spectacular (she deserves the Caps, each and every one of them, because she is the only reason I wrote this review), she looked into it herself and saw that the particular issue was not my fault. I wouldn't say I got any "special favor," I would just say I got thorough and very fair treatment. Thank you Lisa! -KS

This is getting a 3 because I would give 5 stars for the doctor and 1 star for the receptionist…read more I went into the office for back pain. Go up to the desk. Young teen or twenty something boy with AirPod in. Dock points for unprofessionalism. He tells me to scan the code to check in - okay. It took me 30 minutes to upload everything because they had no reception and even connecting to their wifi did not help. Grant it I am the single only patient in the entire office. When I checked in it said the next appointment would be 20 mins. Well that 20 mins comes and goes because I'm still uploading the forms. I speak out "is this always so slow" he says yeah sometimes. Fill it out get to a part that it literally freezes at. They had saved all my info from when I went for a Covid test in 2020-2021, but it had updated since then. I updated it all. Get up to the desk tell the guy this part of the app is frozen. He's asleep. Literally asleep at the desk. He wakes up - why thank you for waking up enough to help me. He says oh that's okay I don't need that part just your insurance. He looks at the online retrieval of my sheet which again it's now been a half an hour since I started and 10 mins since my scheduled appointment time and says "it says your insurance is out of date". I said I know I updated it on there to the new one. Asks me for my card and updates it. So now I realize I spent a half an hour trying to upload photos of my insurance card when he has to type it in anyway because the stupid app didn't work. The app he made me fill out, I told him it wasn't working and he didn't offer any help. So I sat in a chair uploading 4 photos of my id for no reason because he had to re-do it anyway. As soon as he types it in I get called back. So the entire process could have been avoided if he just did it in the first place. The doctor was amazing. Great bedside manner and I'd give him a 5.Looked at me helped me immediately. My entire visit with the doctor was 1/6 of the amount of time that it took me to get to see him because of the fiasco at the desk. Get better desk staff. Don't make people upload stuff when you have the capability to type it in- especially when I am the single only patient in the office for a half an hour. It wasn't busy, multiple people weren't checking in at once. It was totally unnecessary.

The only reason it's not a 1 is because the PA was at least decent…read more I'm visiting from VA and have had a cough since before Christmas which seemed to be getting worse. I go online and see that I can make an "appointment" GREAT!! Get a 1:30 time. Complete my registration online as requested. Show up 10 mins early as instructed, immediately take my copay....all great. After waiting for an HOUR, I ask "Do you not honor your appointment times?" Answer: it's not "actually an appointment". Funny, on line it says "schedule an APPOINTMENT! My response is, "Then don't say it's an appointment!" Maybe the definition needs to be made apparent: 'An appointment is a formal date or plan to meet at the appointed time. Whether you have a doctor's appointment, a hair appointment, or a 1 o'clock lunch appointment, you need to be there -- or you'll have a broken appointment'....it's not a suggestion!!! If i had just walked in, i would have naturally expected the wait might be long. Next, online it asks for my SSN, which I don't like giving out. It stated "optional", so I did not enter it. When I hit next at the bottom, it took me back, highlighted the box in red and said REQUIRED. When I mentioned this, the clueless, not very helpful girl at the desk said, "oh you can just put in any 9 numbers". Well how the hell am I supposed to know that! Also, if that is the case, and you don't need it, have it DELETED!!! Now to the visit, after 1.5 hour wait, finally see the PA (she was adequate enough)....spent less than 5 mins with me (did I mention when I arrived there were only 6 people in the waiting room? At 5 mins a person, I should have been seen 45 mins ago!). Diagnose me with a sinus infection, would give me an antibiotic and some cough suppressant, follow up with my PCP if not better in a few days, RX called into pharmacy. Good to go. Only no, zero, nada visit summary....nothing at all in writing. No info on logging in to some top secret server to see my visit summary. Don't remember what pharmacy I chose when I completed the VERY brief registration online as I assumed there would be some sort of after care summary. Had to go back in and ask Miss clueless what pharmacy it was sent to. This is health care, not 7-11 where I'm buying a 6 pack and a taquito....I rightfully expected some better communication. I get a 10 mile long receipt when I purchase a candy bar at CVS! Gonna find a better urgent care for future needs!

Last fall I found myself without a doctor and with the quarantine I wasn't ready to select a new…read moredoctor. I suspected I have sleep apnea and when I saw an ad that CVS had a new service called Health Hub which offers treatment for chronic conditions such as sleep apnea I made an appointment at the new Health Hub in Chalfont PA. I was very impressed at first - sparkling new area and a pleasant staff who seemed to know what they were doing. Besides treatment for the sleep apnea which went smoothly, I needed renewal of regular prescriptions. I was given 30 days of the medications but needed blood work for additional months. A few days after the blood draw the Hub called me to say they needed additional blood. I complied and that was the last I heard from the Hub. The holidays arrived and I ran out of medications. I submitted a request for a renewal through CVS website and got a message the renewal was refused. I called the CVS location and there was no option to speak to anyone at the Health Hub. The pharmacy told me I had to come in and sign into the minute clinic to see someone. This wasn't the concierge medicine that was sold to me and which my insurance paid for. I was very perturbed by this point. I called the 800 number in charge of the minute clinic and they told me the Hub called me several weeks prior and got no answer. My number was correct in their records but I had no voice message or any evidence that a CVS pharmacy, Hub or concierge called me. The Health Hub's complete failure to follow through on my health care is a warning to anyone looking for service from them. Obviously CVS has over extended themselves and shouldn't be relied on for anything but the most incidental health matters.
