I decided to buy a Honda because I liked the looks of them, the price, and the reviews I had heard other people giving. I chose Tower of Honda because they had the largest inventory of the Civic EX. My grandfather and I did thorough research of the prices of the them before going to the dealership. When we walked into the dealership, the salesmen were very friendly. After talking for alittle bit, our sales man brought back a price for the Civic Ex, and it was $3,000 higher than the MSRP for that trim model. After talking and setting things straight, we were able to get a fair price on the car. I was not impressed with the way things were handled at the start, but after talking with the sales manager we were able to clear things up and I found the perfect car for me! Also, the financing guy was extremely pushy. I turned down any warranty/financing through Honda, and after making myself very clear on it, he continued to talk about it the entire time we were in his office. All this being said, Tower of Honda had a GREAT selection of cars, my visit just wasn't up to standards with customer service. read more

Never in my long life have I seen a more efficient and friendly dealership. We were on a long road trip from OK to MS in our previously trouble-free Honda CRV. We developed a problem near Longview with 5 more hours to drive. We identified Tower Honda as the nearest option. We drive up, entered a green lighted service bay and were affably and professionally greeted. Shannon Gonzales who was the epitome of customer-friendly and competent greeted us and kept us informed throughout, but everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Our problem was thoughtfully and expertly evaluated while we were comfortably accommodated in their spacious waiting room. Within an hour our issue was resolved and we were on our way. I'm thinking the next time we need to buy a car, we'll make a road trip. I don't know exactly what allows this place to be so much better than any of the dozens of car dealers-service centers I have visited over the decades, but the apparent difference is the people, the culture and their organization. Buyer beware. They advertise cars online at a much cheaper price to lure you in. I was looking at a car on their website that they had on the lot. The online listing included the VIN number, so it's the same car. They won't tell you the "best" price until you come in. Then when you get there, they've added a bunch of dealer add ons that aren't listed online and the price is $15,000+ more than what was advertised as the MSRP for that same car online. I drove over 60 miles only to find out about their crooked games. Don't fall for it. read more

My wife & I agreed to sell our 2015 Honda Accord to Tower Honda. Our salesperson was Chris Walker & everything seemed to be going fine. I instructed her to take him the car so he could inspect it and offer a price. She did just that & following Mr Walkers inspection she left the dealership & headed to the bank to get a check made out for the amount he had given us. After returning with the check he then stated there is some newfound damage that would require $2,000 more from us. HE ADMITTED that he made a mistake but made no effort to even attemp to make another deal to fix HIS error. This was by far the most terrible car buisiness I had ever experienced. You say one thing then say another & the only thing you can offer to fix your HUGE mistake is "I'm sorry" I would'nt recommend an enemy to enter this dealership! Obviously, this place is NOT in the buisiness or pleasing it's customers! The only reason I selected one star is because there is not an option of a 1/2 Star. read more

The service department at Tower Honda does not service much with any semblance to quality work. Brought it in where a window seal had totally came loose (see before), I had stuffed it back mostly, but came out looking like they felt I had done a great job they didn't want to improve on. They did replace the part on my seat that had come loose, but managed to lose one of the control buttons for the seat. They couldn't adjust the door the door switch, ("can't be fixed"), so warning light keeps coming on. I stuck a piece of duct tape on the door where the switch contacts, problem solved, proving the switch is out of adjust. Once my warranty expires, they won't see me again. The general manager came up with the solution of maybe I should trade it in on a different model, of course with my wallet taking the hit. Guess that explains the overall attitude problem there. read more

Went to get a battery for my Honda 9:20 am Around noon they came & told me battery didn't fix it a technician would look & see why A little after came back & told me it was the negative ground wire They didn't have one It would take a couple of days to order one So I ask them to jump my car off so I could leave & was told that was impossible!!! So then I was told they could get an after market one That would take a couple more hours So I waited only to find out at 3:00 that it wouldn't work either!!!! Ask for car again & was told they couldn't release it because they would be liable!!!! After talking to my husband & son they told to insist they get my car At that point I got my car & paid out for the battery & my car is cranking every time !!!!! I was flat out lied to today !!!! The service department is terrible. The two times I have taken my car in to get an oil change and tires rotated it has taken them about 4 hours. The first time I waited longer because the guys doing the servicing didn't care to let anyone know they didn't have the right oil filter. They also don't check any fluid levels under the hood so don't be surprised if you run out of coolant. There is no point to have an appointment time because they won't start at that time and you will wait forever. I will not go back for any kind of service. read more

My neighbor purchased a new car trading in his old one in the process. The agreement he made with the dealer was they would sell me his car for what they gave him on trade. When I showed up at the dealer the next day to complete the transaction, the dealer added $500 to what they gave my neighbor for trade. When confronted with the difference, the salesperson denied making the agreement. My senior neighbors (husband & wife) assured me that the salesperson agreed to sell the car for their trade value. Then they changed the price when I got there knowing I was purchasing the car at below market value and that I would not walk away from the deal for $500. They took advantage of the situation and did no honor their word. Do not trust anything they say at this dealership and get everything in writing. I would not purchase another car from Tower Honda and I suggest you do not either. Very dissatisfied long time Honda owner. They lost my business FOREVER. read more

I reached out for more information about the Honda Civic sport. Carlos González reached out and we set up an appointment for a test drive. Carlos was very friendly and respectful, I test drove the car and went to the office where Carlos then went over the monthly payments and down payment. literally that's all never explained the add ons or anything else. I left a deposit on a car that would be arriving in a month or so. I left and the following day I asked to see what all that consisted of the total price . The total price had came out to 38K . 13K over the sticker price. I let him know next time i went in I would be removing some add ons. He let me know that was fine. He called me a month or so later and let me know the car was here. I went to the dealership and went with the finance consultant Naaman. I let Naaman know I would be removing some add ons I proceeded to remove the VSP&GAP add ons but was told by Naaman he could not remove the 3K pro pack (nitrogen tires&tmint) add on due to how the market was???? Remind you i was already paying 4K for mark adjustment. I let him know I would not be purchasing the car if the pro pack could not be removed . He then went to get another I'm assuming finance consultant (African American only because I did not get his name) . They let me know they could not remove the pro pack, and that if I didn't buy it someone else would. I told them that was fine and I wouldn't be purchasing the car. When he (African American finance consultant) left the office he yelled in the lobby WE HAVE A CIVIC FOR SALE NOW. I was walking right behind him but doubled back due to forgetting to get my deposit . After discussing how to get my deposit back with Naaman I was walking through the main lobby with my children i over heard the other consultant (African American finance consultant) speaking ill about me and the situation to several other car salesman. I'm not upset at all about not being able to remove the extra add ons i understand . I'm upset at how the finance consultant conducted himself and the disrespect that was shown to me. This is a dishonest dealership, especially the salesman Pirom Purski!! I went there on a Saturday because that was the only dayI had off. I am a nurse and it was last November 2021. I have posted a negative rating regarding this business on BBB. There was only one new car on the lot, and it had a sport pack added with a tremendous markup. We had to have one by Monday for my son due to him being involved in an accident. Pirom told us that due to Covid and chip shortage that they were having to get sticker price for their new cars. When he went and figured total he added an additional $3000 to the price! We pointed this out and he claimed it was an error. They also said they were giving gift cards and we picked an Amazon card, which they said they were out of!! We never received the gift card. We were lied to about the car price and this is one place that nobody should trust to treat anyone right! The salesman, Pirom Purski not only lied about the car price, The gift card!, He also tried to cheat us out of an additional $3000.00!! Beware! read more

Service department nightmare!!! Original estimate was $500 for diagnosis of (1) front wheel bearing. Promised within 2-3 hours. Mechanic and service advisor finally came to talk to me, after 5-5 hours had elapsed. "We have bad news...it's now both front wheel bearings. It will be another $500 and 2-3 hours." Called to speak to the general manager. Have not be able to reach him on a live call. Avoid Tower Honda at all costs!!! read more

We went in to purchase a vehicle and thought they were doing a great job but after purchase, the brakes and transmission started acting funny. Took it in once and they "turned" the Rotors. After a couple of days, the brake issue returned...squeaking and acting funny. Transmission slipped when slowing then regaining speed.We were informed that they saw no issue with either the brakes or transmission. We wound up trading it because we were so unhappy and found out THEN that the vehicle had been in an accident! That was not disclosed to us. This was a 2016 CPO Honda Pilot Touring with 11,000 miles on it. That fact should have been disclosed. We will never buy from Tower Honda and discourage anyone from dealing with them. read more
