My daughter bought a 2023 Nissan Kicks from Patterson. They sold her an extended warranty. Shortly after driving off the lot the car started to have issues. The steering wheel would suddenly jerk heavily to the right or left and then the steering wheel would be cantered to the right or left. The car remained straight. After several trips to get the car looked at and an oil change (they never changed the oil) Patterson told us my daughter had wrecked the car and they would not honor the factory warranty or the extended warranty and wanted $4000 to repair the car. We looked up a car fax on the car and found it was owned by a dealership in DFW and sent to Patterson. We took the car to Mathews Nissan in Paris TX. They found a steering component had been changed and that the front collision sensor did not work and that a steering wheel sensor was bad. I am convinced Patterson knew the car was damaged and sold it to my daughter. The people at Mathews where going to fix the car under warranty and change the oil. I told them I was going to sell the car when it was repaired. They helped me find a new car and took the Kicks as trade as per Bluebook value. Great experience there. I lost a few thousand but peace of mind that my daughter will not be killed in an accident because of a Lemon sold to her by Patterson... Priceless. read more

They lied to us when we purchased an as is Nissan murano for $10,000 During the test drive the engine was slipping and there was a check engine light on. We asked the salesman to have the service department run a diagnostic and they said it was the mass air flow sensor. They never said once it could also be a bad transmission, turns out it was the transmission, we were willing to pay the $500 to $1000 repair cost but it turns out it was never the mass flow sensor and it was the transmission and it was going to cost $5000 to repair it. They offered us $5000 in order to take back the car, what a joke. I'll never buy another car from this dealership or any Paterson dealer. read more

'Horrible Service Department!! I actually LOVE my Nissan Kicks! The vehicle is excellent and I do not regret purchasing the actual vehicle. I regret, however, purchasing it from Patterson Nissan. I paid extra for the lifetime warranty and maintenance plan (which includes oil changes). I have spent a week, literally on day 5 of trying to reach someone, to schedule the oil change. I've left messages, I've tried leaving voicemails but voice mailboxes are full and unable to accept more messages, I've even had manager over head paged only to get... you guessed it. A voice mailbox. Patterson Nissan has Nissans and that's their only redeeming quality. Don't fall prey to their lifetime warranty as it seems their tactic is to avoid honoring it by making it impossible to schedule routine maintenance hoping you'll go past the service window thus voiding the warranty. read more

Every time that I take my Nissan Titan XD down to get serviced I have them rotate the tires when they are due to rotate. One time they kept my wheel lock and I had to drive back down the next day when I realized that they kept it and failed to informed me after I had to adjust the tire pressures because they did not do it when they rotated the tires. There is a 5LB difference from the front and rear tires. So you would think that the technicians would be trained to check and verify the tire pressures on the tires when they inspect, rotate or align tires. Or at least the Service Manager would train them to do it and/or spot check the technicians to ensure that they are checking tire pressures. Because we all want longer tire life out of our tires and not to have them go flat due to no air or being over inflated, right? I should never have to tell them how to do their jobs, we pay damn good money for their services and products. On Monday I specifically asked the service advisor to inform the technician about the air pressure difference and she acted surprised and I told her to check the door label. She came back and told me that I was right and informed the technician about it and that they would be correct. Finally the service was complete and the service advice (a different person) who took my truck in took my payment. I asked her if my wheel lock was in my truck and if the tire air pressures were correct and she told me that everything was good. Got home and let the truck set until the next day after the storm and tires were cold, guess what? Incorrect tire pressures again...... At least the $70.00 wiper blades worked correctly. read more

**Long post warning** but be warned. Let me tell you about my experience with Patterson Nissan here in Longview. Several months ago James fell asleep at the wheel and totaled his car. We had both been working extended hours and completely wore out. Now down one car we hustled after I got off one evening and swung by a few dealerships looking at cars. We finally found a 2018 Ford F150 at Peterson that almost seemed to good to be true (I should've known better) and were excited to get a second car and be back to our chaotic lives. After just a month. We had to have them fix the transmission. And then as months went by small things here and there began to falter. Each time we talk to them about fixing it. It either wasn't don't properly or they would say oh you have to make another appointment for that. We decided this truck is not working for us and we want to get rid of it and get a vehicle with less problems. Come to find out the put in an expensive warranty (we didn't ask for) along with our gap insurance which skyrocketed our loan way above what the truck was even worth. Thank goodness for the saving graces of Harry at Peter's. He struck a deal of a lifetime and helped us out of the truck and into a car ive dreamed of. He also educated us that we can take our odometer statement and bill of sales to the old dealership to get a refund for the money that was spent on the warrant and GAP that we no longer need. Upon walking into Paterson with I'm greeted with an attitude. I make my request and stand just outside the sales office while they gather paper work. This room full of men began judging me and speaking about me and how much of idiot I am and how they don't like my new car. (Good thing I didn't buy it for yall ‍) I turn and say to them "by the way I can hear you." And they proceed in hushed tones. They gather my paperwork. I request a copy of all of it. And look and them and say "Word to the wise. If you'll be talking about a customer. At least have the brains to shut the door so we can't hear you" and I walked out. All this being said. I won't be back. I won't recommend them cuz they are sleezy, sexist, rude and they don't care about you and your family. If you still choose to buy from them. May the odds be in your favor read more

I dropped my car off on August 16 My traction control light was on and couldnt go past 50 MPH. I was told the diagnostic fee was $180 plus tax and they would call me to let me know what was wrong with the car. They told me the traction control sensor needed to be replaced it had shorted out. I had to pre-pay for the part so they could get started. They told me the part was $542 And it would be around $1400 when I pick up the car for labor and oil change. I paid and left the car. They said my car should be ready by the following week. August 20th I called to get an update. My service advisor Joel told me that the part should be in on Friday, if it came in early that day they would be able to have it ready for Me by Saturday, then he asked me if I'd be able to drop my car off with them on Friday if the part got there, I told him you've had my car since last Friday. That seemed a little odd to me, but I let it go thinking maybe he just forgot I left the car there, this is the first time I started feeling like something was off. He then told me he would call me Friday and let me know if the part come in or not. I received no call on Friday so I called the service department got no answer and left a message. The following day I called again to see if my car was ready. I was told by another employee that Joel was off and I needed to talk to him because he was my service advisor. I said you can't look in the computer and see if my car has been fixed or if the part arrived? The man on the phone seemed very irritated but put me on hold then he came back and told me the part had not come in that it should come in Monday and then my car would probably be ready Tuesday. In the meantime, I had a client at work who works on cars I was telling him what had gone on and he said a traction control sensor shouldn't cost $542. He looked up the exact one I needed for my car and it was only $40. This is when I started getting more suspicious I talked to Joel Tuesday morning where he informed me that they had sent them the wrong part. He said we are looking for the correct part and I will let you know when we find it. I asked him if he could send me a copy of the receipt and the SPECIFIC part number I needed, I was getting more suspicious. He sent me a receipt, but no part number. I heard nothing in the rest of the week. Tried to call a couple times, Left messages on their voicemail no response. The following week I sent an email to Joel letting him know that I needed to know the specific part that was needed for my car, if it had been ordered, or if they couldn't find it at all. I told him that if they could not find the part or fix my car then I needed to come pick the car up and take it somewhere that can. He immediately called me and told me that the part did come in and they were pulling my car into the garage now it would be fixed within an hour. This was 9:30 AM on September 4Th at 10:36 AM he called and said it was done. I went up there and to my surprise was given a bill with seven hours of labor. I said it only took you an hour and six minutes to fix my car. You called this morning and told me it would be done in an hour. I was told it was not the traction controlled sensor that needed to be fixed. It was a steer harness. He said you couldn't order that part by itself you had to order another part with it. I told him I felt like I was getting taken advantage of. The receptionist told me well there could have been diagnostic hours adding to the cost, if you charge me the 180+ tax for diagnostics and the one hour and six minutes of labor to fix it that still doesn't come out too $1260 7 hours in labor! since then I have looked up that specific harness for my car and found it online without the other part and they range from about $50-$75. The oil change they did on my car they tried to overcharge me for, while checking out with the receptionist, she noticed they overcharged me quite a bit on the oil change as well and luckily, she was kind enough to get it changed for me. well, I am about to pen a mini novel. I am doing this review on behalf of my mother. She is 74 years old and a four time Nissan owner. The last was bought when she retired in 2012. A Joke -- I mean Juke from Patterson. She paid CASH for it because this was going to be the last car purchase she would make. In 2014 there was a recall -- oh, I am sorry, a "voluntary campaign". My mother brought her car in with 5200 miles one it (yes, she only drove it 5200 miles in 2 YEARS.) The issue was a timing chain. Supposedly they "fixed" it. As shown in the photo. Oh, and look there, what does the paperwork call the repair?? TIMING CHAIN RECALL repair. Jump forward to October 2021. My mother was in Dallas and the car broke down. Took it to Crest Nissan in Frisco. Said, oh, your timing chain broke (remember the one repaired by Patterson in 2014), it will be $11,000 to repair because the chain busted the cover on the motor and there are metal shavings all in the engine. FYI the Joke only had 39,000 miles on it. Yes, I said 39,000 (34,000 more after the timing chain RECALL REPAIR by Patterson). And this is a timing CHAIN not a BELT. So we contact Nissan corporate. Spend 5 days back and forth with them. Their answer is sorry about your luck. But because of the age of the car .....with only 39,000 original miles, we can't help you. So we contact Patterson, you know, the one with the lifetime powertrain warranty on new cars and some used cars?? Yeah. That one. The one for unlimited time or miles? (PS the service writer couldn't believe 39,000 on a 9 year old Joke). Well, can you believe they told my 74 year old mother, oh that policy was after you purchased your car. Well, I looked all over the site and watched the video (where timing chain is specifically guaranteed covered) and I see no mention of that time restriction. So again. Sorry, you are just shit out of luck. So here is my problem. Timing chains are pretty much fail proof 90/100,000 miles with proper maintenance. Which my mom did her oil changes as expected and changed tires, battery. I mean, how much maintenance is needed on a car that lives in a garage and gets driven less than 3000 miles a year??? So if the JOKE was repaired in the RECALL as stated on the paperwork, one of two things can be a factor in my mind. Shitty parts OR shitty service repair. Oh, wait, there are two things, my mistake, shitty parts and shitty repair. BUT being the wonderful dealership with the lifetime powertrain warranty on cars bought in some certain time period not defined (I am sure Intentionally not defined), we got another sorry about your luck. So now my retired mother who has major medical problems and lives on social security is just shit out of luck. So in other words, since you purchased the Joke from us (Nissan / Patterson) at a time period not specified prior to our lifetime warranty being offered, the JUKE is on you. Literally. read more

During the initial purchase they were fine to deal with. However they took 4 months to get a license plate for the vehicle making me have to make a 60 mile round trip every month to get a new paper plate. Truck went in for warranty work, their loner program was supposed to replace in kind but wouldn't have one til the next morning. Fine, I'll come back tomorrow to pick up the rental. The next morning, they had no truck to give me until perhaps 3 days later making yet ANOTHER round trip out of my way and eating up several hours of another day because they refuse to deliver it either. All in all, both Patterson VW of Tyler and Patterson Nissan in Longview are exercises in futility when trying to get the bare minimum of customer service but they are truly fantastic at broken promises, even on something as simple as "we will mail you the 30 day plate so you don't have to come back all the time"..... read more

Heads up on buying from Patterson Nissan in Longview, Tx. We purchased a new 2017 Nissan Altima from Patterson in November of 2017. Noticed a few weeks ago that it's burning a quart of oil a week. Took it in for service 10/04/2021 and the next day they notified me that the engine was "sludged up" and recommended an engine replacement for lack of maintenance. I've always performed the maintenance on new vehicles we purchase and always buy expensive extended mileage oils and filters for our vehicles. Nissan wanted proof of maintenance and expenses.   I did the best I could at gathering car maintenance expenses. Unfortunately, I didn't have concrete evidence of oil, oil filter, and in some cases air filter purchases since we took ownership of the vehicle. All maintenance related expenses were made at WalMart in Henderson, Tx. I stopped by there after speaking with Patterson and asked the manager at WalMart if there was any way they could run a purchase query on the filters I buy for the car and cross reference those with my credit cards but they didn't have that ability. So, I was left with matching credit card purchases at WalMart for prices and dates that may have been oil change related. I gave Patterson my statements with highlighted purchases.   How I arrived at dates that were highlighted on my statements: We purchased the vehicle in November of 2017 Vehicle currently has 72000 miles Approximately 18000mi/yr 1500mi/month Nissan Altima oil life indicator is 6mo timer or 5000mi, whichever comes first Wife always drove car so indicator would have flashed at 5000mi intervals 1500mi/month means I was probably changing the oil every 3.33 months Oil change date ranges based on average mileage per month (2/18/2018 - 3/18/2018, 6/18/2018 - 7/18/2018, 10/18/2018 - 11/18/2018, 3/18/2019 - 4/18/2019, 7/18/2019 - 8/18/2019, 11/18/2019 - 12/18/2019, 3/18/2020 - 4/18/2020, 7/18/2020 - 8/18/2020, 11/18/2020 - 12/18/2020, 3/18/2021 - 4/18/2021, 7/18/2021 - 8/18/2021)   Every time the oil indicator came on, I changed the oil. I always purchased the expensive Mobil1 synthetic extended mileage oil but let the car indicator let me know when the oil needed to be changed.   Nissan denied our claim today. Patterson wanted $10300 for engine replacement. Never diagnosed how the engine reached the state it's in now. I asked for a quote for replacing valve stem seals - they wanted over $4000! No thanks! When I went to pick my car up, I ask the service manager what could have caused the engine to fail like it did because I changed the oil and filter every time the indicator flashed. He said I must have used cheap oil. I told him that I always purchased Mobil1 synthetic extended mileage oil. He said that I must have purchased cheap filters. Again, I always purchased Frame extended or tough guard filters. So, in my opinion, it wouldn't have mattered if I had exact receipts for everything they would have still denied the claim. In my opinion, their lifetime warranty is a gimmick, do not do business with these people. Take your business elsewhere. read more

On 10/17/22, I drove into Longview after seeing the constant advertisements for "lifetime warranty". I purchased a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 that was in pretty pristine condition. However, I also made the mistake of purchasing the pre-paid services (oil changes and such) valid up to 100,000 miles. It seemed like a good deal & I was lied to and told that the vehicle could be taken anywhere and the service agreement be honored. I didn't realize this was NOT the case until I called to set up my first oil change. I learned quickly that the Patterson Nissan dealership is whom handles the service dept and maintenance on the vehicles. This puts me at an almost 2 hour drive each time I need an oil change! Fast forward to the last 6 months and I began to notice that after leaving the dealership- my truck had an oil leak. Not just a small drip- literally leaks a puddle each time the truck is parked & I am told that no one other than the dealership can service the vehicle or it voids the warranty. Not only that but they blatantly lie about rotating my tires each time. In fact, during the time of me owning the truck- the dealership has only rotated/balanced my tires ONE TIME. When I asked why, I was told the tires are too large (they were there at purchase). It is simply a matter of not wanting to be bothered. This has resulted in me having uneven wear on the tires and prematurely being concerned about purchasing new ones. I have addressed it with the staff and am told that the lift cannot fit our truck?! Unreal. I mentioned that now that I take it there for an oil change, I have a constant oil leak and was literally told "there is no leak" as if I don't see it every single time I park. The company lies on the printout saying that they do indeed rotate & balance the tires every visit. This is the worst service agreement mistake that I could have possibly ever made. I am a completely disabled Veteran and need a reliable vehicle. The company is shameful in practices. AVOID.. read more

I've always cringed when I've had to visit a car dealer service department. It's always like the salespeople will sell their souls to make a commission ... and then the employees on the back side of the building are openly careless about earning your business, presumably since much of their work falls under the warranty category. Patterson Nissan of Longview is entirely different. For the first time in a long time, we experienced a car salesman who was honest and sincere. He obviously wanted to make a sale, and he did it by just being straightforward and friendly. He didn't try to up-sell us, nor did he try to sneak in a different financing option. Sold. We also occasionally hear from him to ensure that all remains well. It's true that such methods are commonly used for continuity (so we remember him next time we want to buy a car), but he has also stepped in to assist us with questions and possible issues. The service department folks are the same. Whether it's a warranty repair or just an oil change, they handle everything with the utmost professionalism. ~ We've experienced a couple of hiccups here through the years, but they've fixed things immediately. What more can you ask for? I live 200 miles from Patterson Nissan these days, but that distance is not far enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Yes, they are that good. read more

I sent a car to the service shop because my mechanic could not mess with the computer on my Nissan Xterra. They charged me $700 for the repair, sent it back to me, still not fixed, I sent it back, they charged me another $900 for a different repair, sent it back and it's still not running! Now they are telling me it is something else that is going to cost me $1200. It has been up there for almost two months now just because I can never get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. I have a 2020 pathfinder that since I bought it has had ongoing issues with what I would call electrical or computer in nature my AC and heater turn themselves on and of or up and down (not in auto mode) the radio will change stations on its own, it will switch from radio to Bluetooth on its own or sometimes it will decide that it doesn't want to connect to Bluetooth devices altogether, my back up cam will show the bottom half of the screen at the top half all kinds of crazy crap! I have repeatedly tried to get this fixed only to be told that nothing is wrong with my car and that the problem is that my phone is to advanced for my car causing it to be confused and malfunction... I feel like every time I speak to the service department I'm talking to some one from Alltel in the 90's who's only ideas of tech support was did u take the battery out of your phone and put it back in! I took my 2012 Nissan Altima in because it was trying to overheat. So I called the service lady and she tells me to bring it I . So I do just that . I get there and I explain and show her what I was talking about. Immediately she says it's the compressor. I'm like could you check the thermostat and all that that pertains to whatever would make it run close to overheating. She says I'm sure it's the compressor. I told her that she didn't know that. She leaves and comes back and says it's the compressor. I said to her again check all that. So they ordered the compressor. When they put the new one on I got in to drive it and it was overheating again. I take a r back and they did a diagnosis. Something that they did not do at first. Come to find out it was a gasket on the radiator cap that was making the fluid come out of radiator and was causing it to overheat. Then had to go back because of this compressor. Who enjoys running back and forth on there mistakes. I don't!! Got to be another option read more

Please think twice before doing business with this dealership!!!! My daughter & I went to Patterson Nissan in Longview where I hoped to purchase a Murano after finding the one I wanted online. The Manager quoted $10,000 over the internet price which, certainly, surprised me. As an explanation for this, roughly 25%, increase I was told by the salesman that it was due to added addendums. When I asked what the addendums were, he replied, "That's what the company adds to make money." He offered no details of the extra costs, no possible negotiating avenues. When I asked to speak with the manager, he called him on the phone & told him, "She wants to talk to you. She doesn't understand what addendums are". That's when I decided to leave. As I entered my car, I noticed my salesman & several men through the window of the office I had seen my salesman use to speak with the manager during negotiations. They were laughing! Bought a used 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 30 days ago. Week later started having a lot of issues. Financial Advisor lied to me and said my extended warranty covered everything for 2 years or 24000 miles. Had to wait 30 days until warranty was active then services department said I was pretty much screwed due to the warranty not covering even electrical, still have my 30 day tags. Now it's going to cost me $1000 to fix or pay the $135 fee and take it somewhere else. I should have read the reviews before buying a lemon from this dealership. You can try and post on here saying your going to work to satisfy the customer which that is the sole purpose of sales. Beware !!! I bought a truck from Patterson and somewhere during all the signing, evidently I signed up for a $5000 maintenance plan. I didn't hear it mentioned and my wife didn't hear it. We usually pay close attention to that kind of stuff because I have never purchased a maintenance plan when buying a vehicle. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though and say maybe we were so excited about our purchase we simply weren't listening like we should have been. When I discovered the $5000 charge, I immediately called to cancel it. "No problem, it happens all the time" they said. The $5000 was added to my auto loan. "We'll refund the money to the loan company and everything will be OK" they said. It is now 6 weeks later and no refund. A lot of my emails weren't answered and I got put on hold a lot and no one ever answered. Once I was placed on hold for a finance manager, then a different finance manager, then the general manager and still no answer after 5 more minutes. Have you ever heard of a car dealer not answering their phone, NO, they are afraid they will miss a sale. Anyway, to make a long story short. It is now 6 WEEKS later and still no refund. It's now time for a lawyer and I'll probably have to spend $2000 just to get the $5000 refund. Beware!!!!! read more

Worst customer and service, took my car for the 3 first services there because they didn't fix a problem and the third time I paid for a better car wash and after 5 hours there for oil change and tire rotation they finally gave me my car back and wasn't clean, all dirty inside ( no vaccum) and water marks outside so after complain they gave me an "VIP wash" and when I went to pick up the car realized that they only vaccum inside ( kind off because the back was still dirty) and the windshield is all dirty with soap water marks..didn't clean inside the car or neither at least what I paid on the service they didn't do.. see pics of how was my car after "VIP wash" read more

Eastman Rd Longview, Texas 75605 I buy a Sentra 2015 wit 25,000for for than 18,000.00 because come wit gold insurance. In the first month the handle broke and they said is no cover, I went to ask for my license plate because my permite will be expire and nobody can help me because my salesman quit, Tires and breaks was in bad shape I'm not a good shopper. I am very disappointed in my service today, my 20yr old daughter bought her first new car 2015 Nissan Versa 3mo ago, It has less than 5,000 miles. A few days ago her steering wheel locked up pulling onto a major highway! The dealership called after running a series of test & said the transmission fluid was burnt? And the car has some abuse? Really? AND it was going to cost her $225.00. We are taking it to Tyler where she bought the car tomorrow. Hope they can solve this issue! read more

I would leave 0 stars but it would not let me. I have never experienced such bad service. The whole process seemed rushed and they seemed very frustrated whenever me and my fiancé would ask questions. We wanted to see about the process of trading in our 2015 car which had 65k on it, before we knew it they had papers drawn up and was telling us that we should do it now and other options were not good. When we went in to finance the guy didn't even explain what we was signing and was frustrated when we asked questions. We were asking questions such as what is the interest rate, what is the monthly payments, who is the loan through. There is no return policy even if you come back less than 24 hrs later they are rude and mean they will take advantage of you if you don't know what is what. To think I just bought a brand new car and I'm more sad about a 6 year bad deal. I will not recommend this company to my worst enemy!!!!! read more

Horribly inept, incapable and totally unacceptable outcome! We took our 2000 Nissan Maxima in with a loud rattle in the manual transmission. They replaced the clutch, rear main seal, throw out bearing and a few other 'recommended' repairs. $1700 later we still have the noise. No offer to make it right. A later diagnosis is that the transmission needs to be replaced. We called Nissan Corporate and got no satisfaction from them either. I will warn anyone away from this dealership any chance I get. read more

First let me explain I really needed a car and they did help me a lot by getting me one quickly but found out they did not put it through service before I bought it so I had to get some minor things done within 2 months of having it they tried to force me to pay the bill which was on the higher end after explaining and talking with several people in service I was left with a lot lower bill then before....go two years down the road and believe my transmission is out come to find out its because I had no transmission fluid completely bare I have a Pontiac G6 bought used from Patterson I have no idea where anything is and can not find he dipstick for the transmission to check it so im sure I'll be left with another high end bill for something I can't even check people are nice but never buy anything used from Patterson they have given my nothing but headaches and the only reason I go back is because of the warranty I have with them can't wait till be done read more

Worst quality vehicle I have ever owned ('08 Titan). So many things have broken and failed on this truck. Even the overhead console disintegrated one day and fell down in a dozen pieces. Dealership was little to no help. I've purchased my first and last Nissan and I won't buy any brand from a Patterson dealership. read more

Rip off we purchased a vehicle 11 days into the deal 3000.00 on a transmission and they wouldn't even offer to help and this is a 33,000.00 vehicle that is only 2 years even though we bought it used its a lemon over 8,000.00 total in repairs and we cannot trade it off because we are 10,000.00 upside down and don't think they Ray Cox or Trey Patterson will help because they want I tried tough lesson learned. read more
