My boyfriend ordered me some DoorDash from this place because I was craving Indian food and thought trying somewhere new would be fun! While the food was tasty, some things were a little off about the order. The masala chai had close to 2 inches off the top of the drink missing, so the cup was about 3/4 full when it arrived (no sign of spillage). The tandoori appetizer is supposed to come with shrimp but it did not. The fish curry didn't look anything like the picture-- but it was pretty delicious. The garlic naan was kind of small for $5.95 in my opinion. I've been to lots of Indian restaurants that will give you a pretty large naan for takeout for that price and with everything else being missing in this order, it felt a bit like something went wrong. read more

Would give a 3.5/5. I came with a couple of friends and we started with the aloo tiki and papadi chat as appetizers. They both were great and good portions to share with 3 people. For entrees, one friend ordered a mild paneer makhani and we also shared a medium spicy chicken vindaloo. The vindaloo wasn't spicy at all which made the meal underwhelming. I also ordered paneer tikka masala and chicken 65 for takeout both with 4/5 spice level and unfortunately it was mild and the gravy for the paneer was too creamy. This is our go to Indian take out. The restaurant is small and doesn't look like much from inside but the food is packing bold flavors. They assume mild for all dishes unless you specify you want it spicy. Great Indian food. Our favorite dishes are very similar and I still struggle to figure out the difference even when blind tasting, the Chicken Makhani (Butter Chicken) and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both are amazing regardless so challenge yourself to taste the difference. We've also enjoyed trying their Lamb Saag (creamy spinach sauce), Aloo Tikki (Fried potatos with chili and cheese), Tomato soup (great when not feeling well - warming indian spices), Lamb Korma (spicy, rich and creamy), Lamb Vindaloo (Lamb & potatoes in a rich, spicy gravy). They also have a Chicken Biryani which is the best I have had outside of a homemade version. Garlic naan is amazing. Never forget an order of Garlic Naan with butter/ghee. read more

The 2 stars is only deserving because the food is really 5 stars. I've been ordering from tower for many years now. It is my go-to for some good paneer, local and quick to get too. However there seems to be a shift in a management or something, because my past 2 experiences have just been 0 star service. Both orders were for takeout. First time I called and made my order, and picked it up. The owner or whoever was working there, terrible service and just asked for the total - no breakdown or anything of that sort. Today's order- called in with an order, was a rather large order so wanted to make sure he got everything and asked him to repeat it back, his response was "I got it" -- that is not how you talk to any customer! Then when I went to pick up the order everything was stuffed in one bag, I asked for another bag and he said no! Just an FYI the lid broke when I was driving home with my food, luckily nothing spilled but seriously disappointed. He then charged me for my bill, and when I asked him for a break down he angrily did the calculations again and realized that he overcharged me by 10 dollars. This service was the worst and I will be changing over to a different location to pick up Indian food unless the management changes their approach. This is so sad because the food itself is so good, but because of poor customer service I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Food was very good. Unfortunately, I haven't had much Indian cuisine to have a good comparison with different dishes but what I did have was very good. It is one of my favorites but I never know what to order. The menu is very descriptive as well as the servers being very helpful. Every dish we ordered was made with fresh ingredients. I love "heat" with most of my international cuisines, but there is no way I could do more than medium recommended heat. It was the perfect heat for me! If you don't like heat, ask for much less. One of our servers, Rajan, was also the chef who prepared our entrees. I explained I wanted a meal with Shrimp and very little oil and cream. He recommended the curry dish. Appetizer...Samosa Chat. Great portion for four people if your looking for something to split. This app was so delicious The Lamb Mushroom and Shrimp Curry we're both very good. I love my shrimp dish. The shrimp were the perfect flavor and texture. I'm real particular with my shrimp and scallops wherever I go. I'm always looking for a certain flavor and texture with the two seafood. This place has very little room for improvement. The food is absolutely perfect. The Tandoori chicken is my favorite. It was perfect and packed with flavor. Everything we had was simply amazing. I love Indian food but i am not Indian. I walked in to place my order. 2 Indian customers entered while i was placing my order and the guy taking my order quickly shifted his direction to the 2 guest and ignored me. I thought that was rude. I've been to plenty of indian restaurants so im familiar with their food. I ordered samosa chaat and the dough was mushie and soggy filled with potatoes and peas. It had good flavor for had one weird green sauce that took awat the good flavor. I also got tikka masala And i told the guy spicy. It was mild at its best. Only brought like 9 or 10 little pieces of chicken drowned in tomato cream sauce. The sauce tasted like i was eating cream of tomato soup. It tasted more like butter chicken than masala chicken. The rice was Okay. And then naan bread which i get everywhere i go, was very elastic and chewy. Very disappointing!! As i was eating half way my stomach started to hurt and i had to stop eating. Moral of the story for the owner is. Just because im not indian dont treat any different. I could tell how shitty they treayed me versus how good they treated their own people. Some of the dishes I ordered? - my go-to is Mixed Grill- combo of different varieties of mouthwatering kebabs, Samosa Chat- portion big enough for about 4 people, Shrimp Pakora, Tandoori Paneer- the FLAVORS of everything is perfectly balanced and to die for!! Even the staples- Naans, Rotis, biriyanis and absolutely love their gulab jamuns- NEVER CEASE TO IMPRESS! I would give negative rating if it's possible for the service provided. You had to ask for a plate, napkins, spoons etc after food came - there were only 3 families so it wasn't that busy. Check came - I gave good Tip and asked for the leftover food - 2 vegetables and 1 Daal to be packed and the waiter packed everything in one box and said a bad word in Punjabi when we were leaving. In my 19 yrs of experience in US this was the first time I got this type of service. Be careful when you go with your toddler the waiter/server tries to touch them and want to carry them. Came here for a buffet on a Friday with a few friends who had high praises for it. Tower of India is a small Indian restaurant in the middle of a pretty busy strip mall that seems to specialize in ethnic foods, and has very limited parking. Luckily for us, we managed to find a spot fairly quickly, and ventured inside. The restaurant is pretty typical for decor - a few Indian-inspired paintings adorn the walls, sitar music hums quietly in the background, and the buffet is laid out in an "L" shape along the back wall. Our server / the owner was very friendly and quick to take away our empty dishes, and it was pretty nice that they offered both roti and naan as options for the table. The roti came out fairly quickly, and was pretty good. The buffet had an... interesting layout. The plates were by the salad station (a closed metal refrigerated fixture that houses all the chutneys, salads, etc), but the rice was on the opposite end of the buffet inside a giant rice cooker (no basmati pilaf here, folks). A little awkward, but I guess it works. The food more than made up for everything, with the chicken makhani & the kofta being my favorite - full of flavor and perfectly cooked. We also ordered a few lassi's (mostly mango, I got a salty), which while tasting OK, were room temperature. I'll probably skip the specialty drinks next time - kind of wanted something cool and refreshing to enjoy the buffet with. Pretty good prices and decent food means I'll be back again at some point. Since I'm often in the area to visit friends, this will be a solid option for takeout. read more

So far, I've ordered the Tandoori Mixed Appetizer & Mixed Grill, Chicken Curry, Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Peshawari, Lamb Curry, Lamb Vindaloo, Mulligatawany Soup, Chicken Soup, and of course, their naan. I can vouch for these dishes personally. Always delicious, the portions are a nice size, and the service is quick. Went here with my parents earlier this week. I was somewhat nervous about what the food would be like because we were there at lunch time and there was no one in the place. I had nothing to worry about. Food was tasty and delicious and came out pretty quickly. My father had one of the vegetarian dishes, my mom had the tandoori shrimp and I had chicken vindaloo. The nan was excellent. They asked if we wanted it with or without butter, which I had never been asked at an Indian restaurant. We got it without butter and it was the best nan I've ever had. I also had a mulligawtany soup to start and it was fantastic, a little spicy, nice color and texture. It really hit the spot on a cold and rainy day. The waiter was attentive and helpful. There was some leftover food, which I asked to take home. He gave me an extra container with rice without my even asking. The food was even better at night when I reheated it. So, food is tasty, fresh and attractive. They will adjust spicyness according to your preference. Bread was outstanding and condiments were served in a beautiful tray. Prices were reasonable. The decor is very plain and clean, nothing special, but also nothing objectionable. I definitely look forward to going here again and trying different dishes. The restaurant is very non-descript from the outside, and easy to miss. But this is definitely a case where a restaurant should not be judged by how it looks. Try it! read more
