Soon as you walk in you are greeted by very nice staff!! I'm not kidding when I tell you the staff here gives top notch service. The interior is very unique with the bollywood music in the background. The sauces that come with the papadums is sooooo good. Best sauces I have ever had with the papadums. For four people the rice was more than enough and so was the chicken tikka masala and butter chicken! We got medium spice level and it was delicious, next time I would get spicy. I would definitely come back here.

We had a lovely dinner here this past weekend with a group of friends. The food and the service were both wonderful. We went family style and ordered a number of dishes and opted for medium spice level. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Jalfrezi, Saag Paneer, Fish Curry, Lamb Rogan Josh, Garlic and Plain Naan. The food was very good. The fish curry and chicken dishes were the standouts. Saag Paneer is one of my favorite dishes, but I don't like when restaurants add a cream base. That's what many restaurants seem to do as was the case here. It's not really the traditional way. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun and Rasmali were the perfect sweet treats to satisfy our taste buds after a nice meal. Several members of the staff continually checked on us to make sure we were happy with our food and had everything we needed. The interior had unique decor and the tables and chairs were fitted with red covers. The ceiling had black tiles, which is an interesting choice. Overall, a nice option for Indian food when in East Brunswick.

Excellent food, friendly service, and good ambience for a group dinner. The music on the TV made the ambience nice. Strongly recommend lamb curry,

Just tried the lunch buffet for the first time today. I got the Tikki Masala, Chili Paneer, Samosas, Rice, Noodles, Desert, and Naan for $18! Delicious and quick meal, this will be one of my new go-to's for work lunch.

I love Indian food so when I first came to this place, I was looking forward to it. The food is actually pretty good. I even got to try new things. The pricing is great compared to New York prices.

Lunch buffet at just around $15/ person, you can't go wrong. Staff are friendly and service is great. We were the first to arrive on a weekday so it was great to have the whole restaurant to ourselves. Almost all the dishes were out and after the first plate, the remainder were brought out. The waiter was nice enough to bring us some garlic Naan since there weren't any during our first round. Everything was fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the Tikka masala as it was creamy and paired well with the rice. It also made a a great dipping sauce for the Naan. The mixed vegetables were also quite tasty. Other items were curry chicken, chicken tandoori, Chick pea medley just to name a few. Overall, would revisit again and would recommend. Place is clean and tidy so you can't go wrong.

Pretty solid indian spot. The inside decor is one of the nicer restaurants in the area. Staff and food were both excellent. We ordered the paneer makhani (medium) and lachha paratha -- both excellent. We started with the pani puri, which was good but I like my pani a little less sweet (personal preference). I would go back and try their chaat and tandoor dishes next time.

We ordered thru food delivery service from here for the first time and will never order again. The food was just terrible and did not taste fresh. The seekh kabobs tasted like they had freezer burn, completely dried out. Same with the chicken tikka, dry and flavorless. And I don't know what happened to that chicken biryani, but that was NOT biryani. With Bell peppers and whole onions stir fried in there, it tasted like they mixed chicken jalfrezi with white rice and called it biryani. Dahi Wada had an odd runny consistency and tasted spoiled. The buttered naans we ordered were flat, cold, and crispy -- completely the opposite of what a naan should be. I know what good Indian food should taste like and this place missed the mark epically. Overall a terrible experience and expensive mistake. We spent $146 and there was not one item that was edible. Whole order had to be thrown away, what a waste!

thinking I'll pay by weight like Chinese buffets. Not. I paid $16 and learn not to trust . Yeah, I Paid $16 for this.

Take-out buffet is NOT weighed so you will pay $16. The guy never said anything. Nada. Nothing. I don't eat a lot and took only a few tablespoon of some veggies and and chicken. The quality is good and passable for $16 if you eat a lot. I learned not to expect transparency in Jndian restaurants.

The food always tasted a bit too salty BUT THIS TIME we loved our food. My dad did a takeout of their chicken platter. The chicken platter is like a crossover between chicken tandoori and halal guys. It was delicious, flavorful, and 3 of us could split it (we were not too hungry). I'd probably come back again.

4-Star Review - Delhi Garden, NJ…read more Tried Delhi Garden recently on a friend's recommendation. It's a bit out of the way from the central Edison area, but worth a visit every now and then. I saw some solid reviews online and decided to check it out. Service was good . Atmosphere not that great . Overall, I was leaning toward a 3-star rating, but a few standout dishes pushed it to a 4. The aloo cutlet with chole was the star of the show--super authentic and flavorful. The paneer tikka and paneer masala also hit the mark taste-wise, though I wish they had packed a bit more spice. The paneer tandoor came in a generous portion, but again, it could've used more flavor. The biryani was just average. One common theme--everything was low on spice, and the small container of spicy sauce they give barely lasted a few bites. It's a takeout-only spot, so no dine-in tables, and the parking area is small but manageable. Price-wise, it felt fair for the portion sizes. Not perfect, but worth trying if you're in the mood for North Indian flavors and don't mind customizing the spice at home!

In spite of good reviews and a second change in decor, that business was not able to survive very long. As I walked in to pick up my order I had mixed feelings. Sad about the fact that another very good and unique European restaurant was gone, and wondering about the future success of the new business. I noticed that the place had been painted and redecorated once again . This I guess could be called an Indian fusion house, offering many common dishes along with some I had not heard of. They also have Indo Chinese options. My first visit was so good that I thought I would return once more before reviewing. I tried the garlic naan and aloo paratha, both good to very good. The paratha was very thin and had a delicately spiced potato mixture inside, I wished there was more filling but enjoyed as it was. The chicken 65 tasted very good, but had too much sauce as I would have preferred the pieces of meat to be crispy. Chicken Radha was a rustic curry with about half of a bone in chicken. I loved this dish and the portion was 2 meals. Chicken biryani was equally tasty and came with very good raita. Chicken Manchow soup was new to me, think hot and sour soup and then add copious amounts of ginger and garlic. You have to like garlic to appreciate this soup, and I do and did! Service was friendly on both visits and orders were packed up very well, with additional onion, lime and peppers for the biryani and crispy noodles to top the soup with. A good friend went to dine in and had a great meal too, taking advantage of the all you can eat lunch Thali. I'm at about 4.5 stars for now....

The dipping sauces were a great addition.) -Goat Biryani (The portion was very generous and it was delicious.) -Butter Chicken (It was good but could have been better.
