    Bombay Veggie Sandwich

I haven't really had a lot of Indian food before this experience, and oh boy did it deliver. This place is now a self serve restaurant. You order at the counter and they call your table number and get your food. There is someone walking away if you need help and will sometimes bring your food over to you. From your seats you can see in to the whole kitchen and there is plenty of seating. The food comes out pretty quickly. Everything we ate was scrumptious. I really enjoyed the dosa and dipping it in the three different sauces. The noodles and cauliflower were spicy in a good way, I could have gone for even spicier. First time having yogurt in a savory dish and wasn't mad about it. Added a bit of sweetness to help combat the spicy spices as well as cool the mouth from the spices. Overall, I would come back here. Great introduction to Indian food and to have the Indian flavors mixed with different cultures as well was a new one as well to me.

Did carry out food - masala dosa and chili panneer. Both items are very good . Place was not crowded and has a parking lot which is real advantage

Very nice and clean location, the dosa was amazing - perfectly cooked and crisp! We also ordered a paneer kati roll (which I would skip next time) and an aloo paratha (which could have used some more aloo, we originally ordered a paneer paratha but were given this one instead). The best was the tokri chaat (which I'm still dr(ooling)eaming about)

Amazing chaat experience at Bombay Talk! Can easily say the food and ambience is significantly better at this location in comparison to the Iselin one. Between 5 people, we ordered 2 tokri chaats (a must here), chili paneer, 1 mysore masala dosai, 1 spring dosai, and samosa chaat. It was a perfect amount of food to share and every item was so delicious. We ended our meal with mango lassis - another item way better here than at the Iselin one. I can't wait to return to this location! Stellar experience with fast and attentive customer service.

I went in for a quick meal since it was on the way back home. I actually saw it across the street while waiting on the street light. I got chole bhature and it was definitely good! The bhature was puffy and not very oily. The chole was perfectly spiced and went perfectly well with the bhature!

There's magic in the food at Dimple's Bombay Talk. No matter what you take a bite or sip of, your face will light up at the flavors flying through your mouth! The "Paan Shot", though we finished our meal with, I'll review first so you make sure you order it. It's the most refreshing way to clean your palate after all the oily food (oily in a great way!). The Paan Shot is milk based, so the Paan flavor isn't as overwhelming as eating the leaf straight. I could go for an entire Paan Smoothie it was so good! The "Davi Puri" was my favorite dish. There are so many different sauces and garnishes topping it, but somehow they coalesce into a flavor that really works. You can't go wrong with any of their "Dosas", but I preferred the "Uttapam" because it's thicker. The unsung hero of both dishes is the "Sambar" (soup) served on the side. Meant for dipping your bread in, you'll want to chug it on its own because it's so good. The "Gobi Manchurian" is a must eat. To many, the sound of "fried cauliflower" may sound off putting, but trust me when I tell you that even a carnivore would consider going vegetarian for this dish. It comes out hot and piping, it's oh so saucy and tangy! I'd skip out on the "Idli Vada" and the "Chili Cheese Dosa". The former just isn't as flavorful as other items on the menu. The latter made me want for cheese pizza. Since it doesn't come with a sauce, it just tastes too cheesy. All in all though, might as well call this "Dumbledore's" Bombay Talk because the spell they've cast on me is proving unbreakable. I can't wait to return!

Date - 11/10/2018 and writing this review sitting inside the restaurant and freezing. Looks like issue with heater. It happens!! But it doesn't mean you open the restaurant for public. My toe inside shoes are frozen. Photo shows it all.. Sorry for bad review. No issues with food!!

Ive driven by for close to year but today I decided to give Dimple's Bombay Talk a try. From the moment I stepped inside I could tell this place was concerned with QUALITY. the restaurant is clean, and bright with a very welcoming atmosphere. They have a large menu offering traditional Indian, Thai, and Chinese fusion items. NOTE: the restaurant is 100% vegetarian, but dont let that dissuade you!!! I ordered two menu items and wow, they were both amazing. flavorful without being overly spicy, and the presentation of the food was that of what you'd expect from an upscale resturant. and the cost you may ask, well, its VERY affordable. i was able to get a tremendous amout of food for about $12. (mind you, almost everything is less than $10). I did end up splurging toward the end and ordered a mango lassi for another $4 and I'm glad I did. again, fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet like some places ive tried in the past. If you're in the area, give this place a try, you wont regret it!

But the more we looked into the menu, the more excited we became. I would say their specialty is burgers and sandwiches. Virtually every ingredient is made from scratch daily (except the sourdough bread, from a local farm), including impressive items like multiple types of burger patty and cheesy cashew sauce. We were so excited about their food that we went three days in a row! Day 1: The Fogwood smoky burger was outstanding. The BLT was also delicious; we loved the smoke salted tofu. For a lighter option, we got the sunshine curry quinoa chickpea bowl. It was healthy and nutritious, although I felt the flavor profile was a bit off; it was heavy on the curry powder and weirdly sweet. The side of mac and cheese was GREAT. We loved the sauce made from sweet potatoes, carrots, and cashews (I think it was oil-free). Not heavy or creamy, just flavorful and good! For dessert, we got the lavender almond cupcake which we LOVED. It was gluten-free, although you wouldn't guess it. It had a perfect fluffy texture and great nuanced flavor. We loved that it wasn't made with coconut oil (just olive oil). Truly special. The vast majority of their desserts (as well as their homemade cheeses) do contain coconut oil. Day 2: The patty melt sandwich was a big hit. Incredible flavor. The Levi Reuben served over greens (instead of on bread) was also delicious. We loved the fennel sage patty and the homemade sauerkraut. We got the kids' PB&J as a snack which was SO good with homemade peanut butter and homemade raspberry jam. Very impressive. Lastly, we couldn't resist getting the signature Snickers-inspired bar, which was so good it should be illegal. Day 3: We were excited to try their daily special, the teriyaki chili rice bowl, made with homemade ginger tofu patties. It was delicious, although it could have used some greens. We tried two more of their burgers to explore the menu further, the flirty burger and the teriyaki burger, and both were great. A devastating disappointment came when, even though we walked in within 10 minutes of their opening, they had already sold out of the special dessert advertised on their Instagram, the carrot spice cupcake with pecan glaze, the only dessert they had that was coconut-free. It seems like they inexplicably only make 4-6 cupcakes per day and then don't make more even if they sell out?! (Who does that??) Overall, we loved the food and are so glad they exist. Major props for making so many things from scratch. We really appreciated how nothing was fried or greasy, really hard to find these days. They also deserve special mention for having top-notch service. All the employees were so kind and accommodating, and every dish came out quickly and made to perfection. The vibe of the restaurant is really peaceful and would be an equally good spot to have a quick meal or to linger all day.

Five flavor plate - a nice amuse-bouche that went through a series of flavors: Hawthorne jelly for sour, yams for sweet - butter melon jelly for bitter, mushroom.and black pepper for spicy, and radish cracker for salty. The bitter melon was my favorite and definitely wasn't that better - it had pleasant spices almost like a chutney. Next was mushrooms in a light cucumber sauce, followed by a savory and thick 18 vegetable soup. This was a nice back to back contrast of light and simple with rich and hearty. The next three courses were aiming to imitate meat a little more. The first was a grilled mushroom over fragrant green millet. Then, sweet and sour tofu skin, and another grilled mushroom covered in a curry sauce. Of these, the tofu skin was my favorite as the bright course in between the savory ones. Next was rice in a savory broth with peach jelly, and then a nutty noodle dish with a smooth and creamy sauce with a nice blend of spices. These helped round out the meal, and the noodles were especially tasty. To end was a dessert made from berries and sweet potato, almost with the texture of ice cream. Reservation is required and the meal is prepaid except for tip. The whole thing came to about $130 each after tax and tip.
