This feels like they took advantage of being the only pizza place around. The breadsticks seemed frozen and the pizza was overloaded with cheese. We were passing through to see a concert at The Gorge, and were dismayed at the lack of dining choices in the Quincy area. Being road trippers, we typically have two standards for food: City Gourmet and Rural Best Effort. We fully expected Tower Pizza to fall into the latter category. We arrived four days before the end of concert season, when the restaurant apparently closed its doors for the winter, and were warned by owner that she had a skeleton crew and a chef who was overwhelmed. We lowered our expectations accordingly and settled in for a long wait. As it turns out, we were so wrong on both counts. The food here is not only good, it's great, and would be on our short list for a good meal no matter where they put down roots. The food came out quickly, was piping hot, and deliciously prepared. My wife got the smash burger, and my daughter, myself, and her fiancé shared a meat-heavy pizza. As others have noted, the pretzel crust is their secret weapon, and really allows their pie to punch above its weight, as the diner looks forward to eating the "bones" as much as the toppings. The burger was just fantastic with juicy patties covered in just the right amount of melty cheese to not overwhelm the locally-sourced beef. The fries came perfectly al-dente with a spice dusting that slaps. If this was Tower Pizza on a "skeleton crew" with a frazzled chef, sign us up for a slow day! I am an Italian from Buffalo NY. Let's just say I know my pizza. If you don't come to Crescent Bay, in Quincy WA for the Sun, the boating, jet skis, golf or amazing view, do yourself a favor and come for the pizza at Tower Pizza & Sunworks beachwear. The crust is a perfect combination of thick and chewy around the perimeter, and thin on its base. The sauce would make my Nonni jealous and all the other gourmet ingredients are fresh and delicious! Perfect pizza for the night! Hit the spot. Pizza is loaded with toppings and cheese. The crust is almost like a twisted pretzel. It was fantastic. 1 large pizza is 8 slices and if you take 2 down you are very full or a very good eater. When you go to a vacation destination like this and eat pizza this good it brings you Back to your childhood trips. Genuinely good pizza and panzarotto! The pizzas are made with a great dough - light, tasty, and crispy. Cooked in a proper pizza oven, it was cooked well, with nice crisp char. We were not impressed at all this time. We ordered the the Gorge pizza without mushroom (substituted with another veggie). Well, they removed most of the mushrooms, I found a couple, and didn't substitute what we asked for. It's was also cold. I'm a pizza lover and I even threw away the Leftovers which my wife said, "you never do that". Ya, that bad for me. Don't think we will be trying this place again next year. read more

We especially love their braided/ribbon like crust that is soft, chewy and always perfectly cooked. Our favorite one- The Gorge! Lots of appetizers to choose from- our kids love the Mozzarella sticks: mmmm!!!! Dinner salads with ranch are a perfect accompaniment to the pizza and served topped with: shredded mozzarella, a sprinkling of olives, tomatoes & croutons. Always a great drink special on the board, for e.g.- cucumber mint w/ Ketel 1 & club soda in a tall glass---- perfect on a warm day in the canyon. Service: they treat everyone like a local! Probably the best pizza I've ever had! I ordered a thin crust Happy Camper. Pepperoni, black olives and mushrooms. Lots of topping and cheese. No need to order extra cheese. To their credit, this was the only restaurant (besides mcd's) we could find open within 30 miles of our accommodation. I am thankful for that. We had the bacon cheeseburgers- one with fries and one with a salad. For me, this was the exact food quality I would expect in the middle of nowhere. It was better than McDonald's but not great by any means. My salad was pure chunks of iceberg lettuce, the fries were ok but could have been 10x crispier. I didn't enjoy the bacon that was on mine, but the cheese came off with the bacon when I removed it. Not to mention that their prices reflect that there are no other dining options- it was nearly $30 for the 2 of us. read more

Pizza was loaded with toppings and the end of the crust was nice and crispy but the toppings weren't cooked long enough and still raw. No sign of the even the tomatoes being exposed to heat were present so the pizza crust was soggy. Got a box after one slice and it soaked through the box really fast...not with oil but all the water that wasn't cooked off from the fresh veggies. A few minutes longer in the over would have made this a great pizza but I don't think I'll be back for another try... read more

Based on what we heard from the locals and read online we had pretty high expectations. The interior is really cool. The food...it was "ok". We ordered a salad, mozzarella sticks and a small pizza. Nothing spectacular to note from the food. So this is where it gets subjective. The sticks seemed store bought and the pizza was pretty over sauced which overpowered the taste. The place was pretty full so our service wasn't bad but wasn't great (had to ask for silverware, water refill). Based on other reviews maybe they had an off night. I was hoping for better but it left us wanting more. read more

We have eaten here twice. The first time we had great service and good food. The second time we had crappy service and ok food. Service was slow. Server held our ticket until she waited on two or three other tables. She was much more interested in serving a group of guys out on the patio, instead of taking care of the customers inside. Food was incomplete. Had to ask for more drinks. Had to take tab to the bar as server was outside for the umpteenth time with the table on the patio. There were two employees in the back and one person sat on the counter with her shoes on. I did not see her wipe the counter off when she jumped off. If this had been our first experience, the rating would be much lower and we would never go back. read more
