The grub supply for Dru Bru. It was not swift; waited 25 minutes. Not sure what the hold up was with a couple staff inside the truck and no one at the brewery. Finished our beers before eating the pizza. Dough not as chewy as hoped. Service not friendly as hoped. Not sure why Dru does not have their own kitchen.

Gluten free margarita pizza with chicken

We stopped here on a road trip after hearing great reviews. I ordered the gluten free margarita pizza and asked for added chicken. I asked for the balsamic on top and on the side. My family also ordered pizza with regular crust. After waiting 45 minutes for our food, during which time we only saw 2 pizzas come out, our food was ready. The guy at the counter asked my husband if I still wanted my balsamic to which he said yes. When he brought the pizza to me there was barely any toppings and the chicken was cold! Like out of the fridge cold. Not to mention there was no balsamic on top. I ate one bite and went over and asked politely for them to warm it up, the guy said no he couldn't, and that it came out at the same time as the other pizza and that is just how it is served. I pushed back and asked him to touch the chicken to feel that it wasn't warm and he declined and said that it was in the oven and he saw them pull it out, so it was cooked and there was nothing he could do about it. I said the mozzarella was barely melted and he said "that's how we make it!" I paid $5 extra for a gluten free crust that was barely warm and $19 total for a pizza that I threw in the garbage. I can't believe the horrid customer service. I was willing to eat it if they would just heat it up for me, but I'm not eating cold chicken on lukewarm crust. I would not go to this place for the pizza again! The brewery is a cute location though, I had a cider that was good and my husband liked his beer.

I liked the pizzas and they have lots of options. The flavors were well blended and there was not anything that was over-the-top, and the dough was soft and yet also nice and crunchy on the edges. I recommend looking at their website for the full menu. The location is great because you can pick up and leave, hang out in their gates of area, or go to the brewery. We picked up and left so I don't have a review of the other options but they exist. They have a children's pizza option which we found to be

Excellent wood fired pizzas! Highly recommend! Crust was perfect. Got the lookout (half with fire) and the matador.

We had the Matterhorn and red top pizzas and went inside to Dru Bru to eat.

Cheesy garlicky goodness, which was delicious with the very fairly priced Italian Valpolicella on their wine list. I placed a to go order for two large pizzas (a pepperoni and meatlover type) and came in to pick them up. The bill was 55.00 for two pizzas. I thought that was pretty expensive when I was ordering over the phone but thought, "they must be good sized pizzas" so I went ahead and ordered. They added a pretty high charge onto the bill for using my DEBIT card. I was shocked at that. When I asked why I was being charged extra for my debit card I was told that they charge for the usage of any card. WTF? Credit cards, I can kinda see since the business gets charged a per use fee, but a debit card? No. That is absolutely ridiculous. You have a product, you accept those forms of payment, and then you ADD a charge on because you would prefer cash? Not loving that, at all. Anyway, get the pizza back to where we are staying, open the box to find an "artisan" style pizza that is about the size of a legal pad. To add insult to injury, the toppings were very sparse and there was hardly any cheese on the pizza. If you are going to charge so much for pizza, how about not being skimpy on the toppings? I guess I am the outlier here or I should have dined in and had pasta instead of pizza. NOT impressed.

She didn't have any beverage while I had their dragonberry mojito. The beverage was excellent, as was the tortellini and garlic bread, and the fries are possibly the best in Ellensburg. My cut of prime rib was more done than I ordered and was lacking in flavor. The doneness the establishment had control over, the taste, not so much. The corn was not very good, like it had been out too long, soft and not the best taste. The service was excellent! Our server Taylor was very attentive and worked hard to make our visit memorable. I left a tip a bit higher than what I normally would. The part though that is irritating to me is they charge a 3% credit card fee. This restaurant is equidistant between banks that I use. If I had known of this fee I could have had cash. Banking fees should be built into your pricing. $40 for a 10-12 ounce prime rib should contain enough profit to absorb the credit card fee. All in all a good meal that mostly checks the excellent box.

There was open seating in the bar, the door greeter (bartender?) handed us some menus and said we could choose our own table. Definitely understaffed for two big teams of kids & parents, many empty tables were not cleared (including ours). We were warned that the kitchen was catching up with all the orders so it might take longer than normal. We didn't mind since we wanted to have a drink first anyway. We enjoyed the spicy Bloody Mary and a yummy ceviche appetizer to start. We eventually ordered the heaping 12th Man burger; too big to eat with your hands, had to knife and fork that baby! Hubs ordered the fish tacos, fresh & crispy, no complaints. The staff was hustling, spread thin, but still amazingly friendly & efficient. We will return to try other menu items.
