We sometimes tend to defecate in the same place we take our meal and wonder why is it so smelly around. In this regard the operatives (drivers, in this case there were three rotations), did their best to clean up and provided garbage bags for trash. The trip was well pasted and safe. There were ample rest stops, about every two hours or so, and somewhat reasonable accommodations for the lack of individual phone charging stations. Drivers were friendly and accommodating despite the obvious language differences. All in all this appears to be a real good alternative to the absurdity and what seems to be the increasing ridiculousness of air travel- if you have the time and patience. While they didn't pick up from my hotel unfortunately, we took a quick Lyft over to the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Airport and Mark was there right on time to pick us up, even calling as he pulled up to let us know he was arriving. The van was clean and comfortable and everyone in our van was on the same cruise, which meant we had only a couple stops to make before heading right to the port. The price per person (about $25 plus tax) was cheaper than a Lyft and I know that next time we are going to Port Canaveral I need to stay at one of the hotels they come to and save a little extra $$.

It's hard to contact Uber when something comes up. The web site is poorly designed. Receipts aren't always mailed out or updates when you tip late. It seems their main aim is to sell you side services. Uber seems to have cynically exploited advancing the taxi profession. Now they're the problem. My guess is they're "driven" by margin compression above all else. I wish there were alternatives.

Generally I have given a fair rating, except for the issue of incessant smoking by the operatives, which I attribute to cultural deviations. What was once perceived as a mere happenstance, now appears to be deliberate and premeditated. I am specifically referring to the issue of segregation. Yes that ugly word. Segregation on the bus is alive and well here in China town USA, or it highly seems that way, but you be the judge. (Photos attached). Now to be fair "these people", our industrious, hard working yellow friends (and I know, I'm one of them, at least partially anyway) have done much to fill in the gaps in affordable transportation, on the east coast. We must acknowledge this, and to a large extent encourage and support the spirit of enterprise.
