This was my first visit. The salon is clean and bright. I was greeted by a young man and asked to choose a nail color. I chose an orange red and sat in one of the massage chairs for a pedicure. The woman assigned to me was wearing a mask and kept asking me questions. I know she was trying to be friendly but i was there for service not a chat. The mask made it difficult to hear her. I usually love the leg massages at some salons but there really wasn't much of that other than the application of lotion. Polish application was good. It was all just okay. read more

Got a mani/pedi today. First off, price is great considering new "fancy" salons that look great inside, but cost a fortune for mediocre service. I'm a habitual nail biter, since childhood, and haven't gotten a manicure in 6 years because of it, but decided to get one today. I am beyond pleased with the service and the results, I could cry. Walked in after reading the reviews. Excellent pedi and she didn't bitch that my nails are too short like every other place I go. Like I didn't know... I cut them before I go because I like them short. Ann did an excellent job getting my nails that are growing into the side of my toes and scrubbing the bottom of my feet. Didn't feel judged at all. As Kelly Clarkson would say..."Never Again" First of all I must say when I worked in Kennesaw this was my go-to spot on lunch. Oh my how they've fallen off. We arrive to a freakishly long wait. We finally get seated for our pedicures, but we are waiting for 15 minutes just to have someone come over and start the water, not to mention that the spa chairs were broken (the message functions didn't work), the walls here have turned a dingy off white stained with water marks color. My friend had a simple manicure (ladies you know, the hand massage and color change) why did she end up bleeding?? The lady, instead of snipping the cuticle actually cut her finger. I went for my famous french tips..***complaint*** the white tip should start where your nail meets the tip of your finger, this lady went a little crazy with the white, (but being what would normally take an hour took 2 1/2 hours) I didn't want to say anything in fear that I might be there until closing. **complaint** I hate being pressured into doing things...We were asked while getting our pedicures if we wanted our eyebrows arched, we said no, I was asked again while getting my nails done, I said no, I was asked again after I finished washing my hands, and as I was handing over my card to pay, THEN as she painted my nails, she HAD to reiterate how she could have given me a LITTLE more shape...(rolling my eyes to stop from saying something rude and totally appropriate) read more

Very welcoming atmosphere...next to five below and other shopping places. I walked in and immediately was helped. Very professional and quick. TiTi took her time to do my fill in and he'll color. The place isn't as spacious as other nail salons I've been to but I was serviced as soon as I walked in. I got a gel pedicure from a technician with light brown hair. My toes were looking a little ratchet and rough since they've been breaking off and neglected ever since it got cold. However, she did a great job with evening out my toenails and shaping them! The whole process took a bit longer than I was used to since she was taking her time polishing but I didn't mind because I had nothing else left to do and the paint job turned out great. No excess polish smudges/puddles or missing gaps near the cuticle! It came out to be $40 for a regular pedicure with gel polish. Never been to a nail salon where everyone is this friendly. I drove in from NC for a wedding and haven't had time to get my nails done. They took me as a walk-in. Even though busy, I was seen within 10 minutes. The person working with me took her time and did a thorough job of pedi and dip mani. Wish this place was near home. read more

I should've completed a review for this establishment a long time ago, but I've been lazy. I've patronized this salon for over 6 years and I love the staff/service. Although it is best to make an appointment as they have solid repeat customers, you are able to walk in Monday-Saturday. They will be honest with you about the waiting time upon arrival if you are a walk-in. The pricing is fair and affordable. I've recommended several friends in the past and they all were satisfied with their service. The staff goes out of their way to remember the names of clients when they return. When my daughter first started going to Towne Center Nails, they had a lot of staff, and I would occasionally get a pedicure. I loved a girl named Amy, and she was very thorough and did a wonderful job. Another worker there (I don't know her name, altough by now I should!), did my daughter's pedicure, and pitched a fit because my daughter wanted acrylic (sp) on her toenails (something that Hong, co-owner always did, perhaps Hong was booked that day, I don't recall, but this particular lady pitched such a fit that Amy took over and did them for her. I had her do my pedicure once, and requested that I never be given an appointment with her again. So much for my request! Amy left Towne Center nails, (no one will ever tell you where people go), and this spring, when we went back to begin the pedicure regimen, much of the staff was gone, and I got "the person", because there was no one else, I guess, and she pitched a fit when I asked for her to use the razor, since I still had roughness on my feet. I gave Towne Center Nails one more chance after that, and get the same "lady" again. Same thing happened. When I asked for her to use the razor, as I still had roughness when she had finished, she blew up, began complaining to everyone in whatever language it is that they speak, and huffed off to get the razor. She makes no bones about her rants, and doesn't care whether she offends you or not. She came back and put the wrong color polish on my toenails, to boot! I like Hong very much, she's a sweet lady, but because she allows this person to mis-treat her customers and get away with it, I am not going back again! I've been going here for years. I always have Hong (sp?) do my fill-ins. Any of the other girls give good pedicures. Hong's English is very good. The different pedicure girls don't speak English as well as Hong but they are always happy and do a good job. They don't hurt me, nor do they rush. Hong's sister runs Nais Tips and Toes on Cobb Pkwy in Kennesaw and she is equally as good! read more

I have been going to Town Center Nails since they opened and won't go anywhere else. My husband (and I of course) LOVE it when perfect strangers walk up to me and compliment my nails! That's right, my nails. My hands are in constant motion and my nails are gorgeous. I've worn them sport-length but mostly I wear them long and elegant. Although this is an older nail salon that is showing its age, I've had nothing but good experiences with both manicures and pedicures. I've never worried that the instruments aren't cleaned properly. Drove there from Dallas since somebody told me they were so good. I went in for a full set of acrylic nails. I was asked if I wanted solar nails. I said no just acrylic and that I was trying to keep it cheap as I am not working. (I don't even know what solar nails are?) Once I was done, had already paid, and was sitting under the dryer I noticed the prices on the wall and realized that I was over charged. I asked how much mine should have been? I was told a lower price but that I got solar nails which were better so it was more! I clearly told them I didn't want solar nails AND that I wanted what the cheapest since I am not working. The tech took it upon herself to do what she wanted and charge me for it. My mother was sitting right there and heard me tell the tech exactly what I wanted! The tech spoke and understood English so there was no misunderstanding! Needless to say this was my and my mother's first and LAST time there!! And I still don't know what the heck solar nails are since I see absolutely no difference in looks or technique! read more

Absolutely terrible! I went in for a quick eyebrow wax. Nothing fancy. They plop me down in a chair and someone in the middle of a pedicure for another customer comes over and just starts smearing on wax. Didn't even bother to clean the area to be waxed or asked how I wanted my brows waxed. The wax definitely wasn't hot enough either. But I didn't get a chance to say anything because just started ripping the wax off, even when she got the wax on my actual eye lid she was merciless. After she's done, she puts a mirror in front of my face for two seconds then goes and sits back down to finish the pedicure. Normally they're supposed to put aloe or something on the area so it doesn't become irritated. Confused and in pain (a first for me when it comes to waxing, it shouldn't hurt), I paid and quickly left. In the car, I immediately notice that my brows are pencil thin and glaringly uneven. Not even 24 hours later and my forehead is covered in dozens of tiny red bumps. The next day they were even worse! They got bigger and doubled in number. My forehead looks like braille!!! So now I have pencil-thin, uneven, and patchy eyebrows with a trail of tiny red painful bumps across where my eyebrows should have been. It's been 4 days and the bumps aren't going away, just getting worse. I've never had this reaction before and I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for years. If they can botch a simple brow wax, I'm terrified to think what they do to people's nails. Never again. read more
