    The day this incident happened.

    Called in to KS Nails on 10/4 at 1:08 pm and made an appointment for 5:30 for a pedicure and nail soak off and manicure, no polish. Got to the salon on time where the nail technician did not soak off my acrylic nails as requested, but used another fake nail to take my current nails off. Made it to the pedicure bowl, asked for the milk and honey pedicure but asked the woman who was doing my pedicure not to use the pedicure foot file, just the pumice stone. The lady who did my pedicure stopped paying attention, and completely took a CHUNK of skin, off of the side/top of my big toe, with the pumice stone. When I looked up as I realized my pedicure was starting to hurt, she was looking out the door/window! Not paying any attention to what she was doing! She said sorry and put my foot back in the water. My toe continued to burn, I told her and she put these green liquid drops on my toe (I believe she keeps handy for cuts) and proceeded. Then used an exfoliating scrub on my legs and feet, and kept going over the toe she JUST took a chunk of skin off of. I asked her to stop because she was hurting me even more! She wrapped my legs with the hot towels and LEFT in the middle of my pedicure with another person who works at the salon maybe at 6 pm? Nothing else said to me. The man who popped my acrylic nails off, painted my toes then sprayed rubbing alcohol all over my feet, which of course hurt, because of the lady who just took a chunk of skin off my toe. Also, he watched the whole thing happen because he continued to take off my nails during my pedicure. So he knew what was happening from me telling her that she hurt me and to stop etc. Finally my toes are painted and I am ready to go, where the man that painted my toes/took off my nails and myself are the only people in the salon, shortly after 6 pm. He then tells me my total is $90. A lot of things start running through my mind after the experience I had and the worst nail salon experience I have ever received in my life. But I paid it, because I planned on calling the next day to speak with the manager or owner about my experience, and how I do not think it was fair to be changed that amount after the terrible job they did. As I leave the salon, the man who did my nails left right after me, 6:15 at the latest. If the staff at this salon is such in a rush to leave that the lady who started my pedicure left in the middle of it, and he left 1 minute after me, why was my 5:30 appointment accepted? If the staff is that much in a rush to leave and are hurting people, KS Nails should not be accepting appointments after a certain time! I've been to this salon before the owners switched and after. Never have I experienced this before, and I know with the previous owners, this would have been resolved before payment was requested. I called the next day, Thursday 10/5 as I planned, and asked to speak to the manager/owner. The lady who answered the phone is who I spoke with the day before who I made my appointment with, she knew who I was because she remembered the time my appointment was and the services I requested and I told her about my experience the day before. She told me the owners would call me back. The owners did not call me back so I called again the next day, Friday 10/6, and was then told that the owners were on vacation and would call me back on Saturday. I never received a call to make resolution on this. Which brings my review, Monday 10/9. I have added pictures of my toe, which is completely unacceptable and neglectful by KS Nails, and considering the placement. Why was she even using the pumice stone in this part of my foot? Because she was bot paying attention! The service I received, and the aftermath of ME, a paying customer, trying to find resolution for something I did nothing to cause. I wanted to come to a price agreement with the owners and be refunded for part of the services I asked for, instead of disputing this charge with my credit card company so they take 100% of the charge back. But, I have called in 2 times now for this and have been pushed to the side, and I am tired of it and wish I would have argued with the man who told me my total was $90, even though I am not that kind of person at all, that's why I paid that RIDICULOUS amount in the first place. I believe the salon should be making this right, not me, I have tried. My credit card company approved my dispute today, which was the last resort for me because I understand this is a small business and did not want to just take my money back, I wanted to come to a resolution where the salon and myself were both happy. I have to put bandaids on my toe when wearing shoes now, going to the gym, walking my dog and just running errands which are all regular activities. As you can see in one of the pictures I added, even wearing my Birkenstocks is now uncomfortable because of the placement she took the skin off of. It rubs and starts bleeding again.

    If you're looking for a mediocre salon with 1 star service, this is your place! Natural nail care is replaced with over-drilling, sloppy polish and rushed services just so the next person can get in the chair and receive the same mediocre service as the previous person. The cleanliness is also questionable so I think it's safe to say I won't be returning here!

    I hardly do reviews but I love the job Toni and Sam did! 2 weeks ago I went to a different nail place and I asked for "coffin" style nails. They were horrible! I had bumps and they looked more square than anything! Toni made my nails the shape I wanted! Sam, bless him! My feet needed major TLC and he massaged my feet so good that I felt like I was going to fall asleep! I highly recommend them!

    I've been a loyal client for a few years now & they've recently undergone change in management. I have nothing negative to say. Hannah (spelling?) has done my nails twice now & I've been impressed enough to pre book with her. Highly recommend.

    I'm VERY picky when it comes to getting my nails. I hate when the nail tech rushes and ends up cutting me once or twice as well...but that wasn't the case with Joy! She took her time and was very sweet. I have been visiting this nail salon since this past May and this is the best they've looked out of all of the trips I've made! Thank you Joy!

    KS Nails has a professional, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Their prices are fair and they really do care about presenting their guests with quality customer service. Everything was cleaned and sanitized multiple times during my 45 minute visit. Quick and efficient!!

Anita serviced my husband. She arrived first. She gave him an armrest, along with warm water to soak his nails. My nail technician was Mia. Her quality of service was not the same. I did not receive an armrest nor a greeting, and my water was cold. She wasn't the friendliest either. I could tell the level of attention and detail that Anita provided for my husband was totally different from what I was receiving. However, my husband wished the buff on his nails was a bit brighter. It was dull and didn't really show a major difference. We also did not get a chance to select our manicure preference, as we were told the nail technicians would provide this information to us. Since it was a Friday and we were walk-ins, we plan to try them again on a different day and make reservations to see if the service will be better.

When I arrived, there was tons of parking available outside. I walked into this beautiful, airy and bright nail salon. A friendly staff member asked me to sign in on the iPad at the front desk. You simply type in your phone number and name. I barely waited 2 minutes when the same staff member came back up to me and asked me what services I was coming in for and I explained I had an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure. She walked me right over to a pedicure chair and told me my nail tech would be right over. They started the water for me and I waited/soaked for about 8 minutes and Tina greeted me. Super sweet and great leg massage! She did a fabulous job on my pedicure and I will definitely book her next time. She wasn't very chatty but very pleasant and friendly. I was able to actually enjoy my pedicure and listen to the music they had playing in the salon. Tracey came up and started on my gel manicure (at my pedicure chair) and she was super friendly! Overall I had a great experience and I loved that it was very clean and I saw them open up their sanitized tools from the baggies. Lana, the manager was very rude,…read moreblamed her employee for an accident with my shoes and made them pay to replace my shoes and then found a way to blame me for an employee's accident. This salon is not customer or employee friendly. I will not be going back. See story below if you want to know details or you want to avoid the same bad experience I did! I'm really disappointed with how a situation was handled by the manager, Lana. During my visit, a worker accidentally spilled nail polish on my $155 shoes (I was never upset with him since it was an accident). When I asked to discuss it, Lana took it upon herself to offer a replacement, which I appreciated at the time. She later told me to come pick up the new shoes and bring my old pair to exchange. However, when I arrived, the replacement shoes were a slightly different color than my existing one which was an issue because she insisted on giving me only one shoe because "only one was ruined." Shoes come as a pair... and I was never told I'd only receive a single, mismatched shoe. When I pointed that out, she repeated the same excuse and told me I should be grateful for the one shoe and "I made the employee buy me new shoes." She claimed I had "made" the employee pay for the replacement, which is untrue. She offered the replacement herself, and I never asked for it. Instead of taking responsibility as a business, she blamed her employee and then turned around and blamed me, going as far as calling me rude for making him buy them and bringing up his personal situation to guilt me. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I can live without the shoes, but Lana handled this terribly. She and this nail salon are not employee or customer friendly and I absolutely will not be going back.
