EXCEPTIONAL Customer Value! Everyone was very attentive! I was especially appreciative of the gentleness and kindness they demonstrated with my 80+ year old mother. In addition, the quality of products make a difference in how long the nail polish kept its luster; not chemically extended like other salons. Very relaxing environment and CLEAN. I indulged in the head spa treatment and it was by far the best spa treatment I have ever experienced. Worth every moment and penny! Love this place! read more

One star for really crabby nail tech. Went on Mother's Day to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. Got the Deluxe Pedicure with gel polish. The nail tech doing the pedicure was clearly not here to do her job. She scrubbed my feet, instead of using the cheese grater callous remover. When I asked her if she could use it...she looked at me, used it for 10 seconds on each foot and put the utensil away. I asked her if she could do it again on the left foot, on the main part that has a huge callous (not only is it Mother's Day, but I wear heels every day so it wasn't hard to miss the callous). She ignored me and said something to the employee checking people in. The employee then translated that the nail tech would do the callous removal at the end. So the nail tech continues. Does not cut my cuticles. Skimps on the massage. And rushes through everything else. She talks about me to the male nail tech who comes to do my nails (I'm part Asian) and I don't think she realized that. It was a horrible experience! When I checkout to pay, the employee checking people in asks how everything went. I told her that my nails are great, the pedicure was so-so. She then proceeds to tell me that the nail tech doing my pedicure tends to get like that. She was hungry, and as soon as she ate when she finished my pedicure, she felt better. I will NEVER go back and waste another penny in that establishment. Please make sure your rude employees eat before doing their job! read more

Amazing service, the vibe was welcoming, the staff was seriously accommodating. I came here once in my early stage of pregnancy and have come a couple more times when i'm up to it throughout. They never fail to make me feel pampered in this time of needing to feel pampered!! My friend has gotten acrylic full set /full design some times we've gone together and their individual artists are amazing!! I don't know what's going on here anymore but their work is sloppy. They will rush you and not pay attention to what your asking. I've been thrice in the last year and disappointed in their service completely. I had to get my nails redone twice at another shop and the difference in quality was insane! The pricing has gone up with no justification. However, prices have gone up everywhere. The only pro I can say is that getting my feet done by Nancy was up to par. However, the manager rushed my friend and she too was very unhappy with their service. read more

my experience was good today. I enjoyed my ManI Pedi. The only thing I would suggest is that the that they give loyalty stamp for total minimal service Dollar Smith of 25 and not individual service minimum of 25, for example - I spent $38 today for my service....., because part of the service was for my nails and some for my toes. They don't give you a stamp for the minimum service collectively.... it has to be $25 for one service individually so I didn't qualify for a reward. I thought that was a little being that in total I spent 38 but AnyWho, actual nail service was great and I like my nails. read more

Unprofessional technician. When asked his name, I was told "Hong Kong Supermarket". I laughed it off and asked again, and he repeated it. He then proceeded to hold a conversation with his team member speaking in their native tongue. Not cool. I was also charged for "long" nails when my nails are medium length and charge $5 for TWO tips. They are offering a 15% discount during their grand opening, but neglected to take it off my balance. The $8 overcharge can be applied to my tip! I will not return. There are two many nail salons in the area to accept unprofessional and overcharged services! read more

I have been getting services at this salon for about 3 years however I'm not sure if management has changed but within the last 6 months it has gone down hill drastically. The products are weak and do not last. I have my real nails, which were very healthy until I gave them yet another chance. I travel a lot and I usually get my manicure (Shalic) right before I leave Houston. My nails have chiped and cracked my real nails. This is the third time. I spent a whopping 89.00 for a Shalic Manicure and a pedicure. I will no longer waist my money and I get on the road and my nails are chipping and breaking. Look for some place new. They are either trying to stretch the products with asaitone or the products are just old. The point of shalic is to keep your nails strong snd prevent breaking, well don't waist your time or your money that you can't get back. read more

It was a gorgeous salon, and the people are extremely friendly. They are also very talented. Plus, I had a hurt ankle and she was very careful with my left foot. After the winter months in boots , my hands and feet now look fabulous and healthy. Although when doing my manicure-cuticles one finger got a little cut. My daughter had the same issue so the cutting tool. The baths were sanitary they used liners. Although not sure if tools were sanitized or cleaned with a antibacterial cleaner. Little pricey... glad I don't go that much! Thank you! read more

We went to this salon a few times and was surprised at how much we loved it. A good nail salon is hard to find. Unfortunately, the good did not last long. When we called about my polish coming off, they said that I could come this week, but made sure to inform us that they would only repair that one nail. Not that I wanted more done, but I'm certain we deserve more after this monstrosity. We live an hour away, which proves how desperate we were to find a good salon. Driving back for a half ass polish is probably something I am not going to do. I would hate to inconvenience them with having to repaint one toe. Let's be sure to inconvenience the paying customer instead. As you can see in the other photos, my husbands fingers are peeling from the manicure. His hands feel like sandpaper. read more

Staff that greeted me (I think was the owner) was very nice and offered me water and service throughout was good. I just feel as though the person that did my manicure rushed and did not take time. I originally asked for french tips, and the girl who did my nails could not get it right. so i eventually just told her to paint her entire thing white. it was very messy and bumpy and uneven. I more than likely will not return, this was my first and my last visit. I attached pictures below of my nails as soon as I finished and walked to my car. I have been a customer here several times and have never had a bad experience. They take amazing care of their customers. I got SNS on a Tuesday and by Tuesday evening they began to crack, and broke/chipped a little by Friday. I went back on Friday evening to ask to get them fixed and the manager sat me down himself to fix them after I explained what had happened. I was truly impressed with the customer service and care they have for their clients. I will never go anywhere else!! Anna does an amazing pedicure and gives an awesome massage. She claimed I had "made" the employee pay for the replacement, which is untrue. She offered the replacement herself, and I never asked for it. Instead of taking responsibility as a business, she blamed her employee and then turned around and blamed me, going as far as calling me rude for making him buy them and bringing up his personal situation to guilt me. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I can live without the shoes, but Lana handled this terribly. She and this nail salon are not employee or customer friendly and I absolutely will not be going back.

She did an awesome job on my hands but she did a super wonderful job on my feet. She took all my callus off perfectly. Some places are too rough and that can be a painful experience. I loved that she kept checking to see if she was doing enough. As for the place, it is super clean and relaxing. It was very well needed. Will be back when I have the chance.

Immediately when I walked in, I knew I was not in a "typical" nail salon. Main Street Nail Studio feels more like a relaxed wellness center with the vibes of a cozy café. It is spacious, warm, and comforting. Such a welcomed contrast from other salons where it can feel like a crowded factory line of sardine-packed rows of chairs. Here, I felt like I was resting in an easy chair in the corner of my own living room. Joslyn did both my pedicure and manicure. She is a pro. I asked for a light pink- but not too pink, and she pulled four different options to try. Throughout the pedicure, she told me exactly what was in each of the scrubs and explained why each treatment was being used. She spent extra time working around every corner of my toes and feet. My feet are so soft now- my toes feel like tiny pillows and my heels like they are covered in satin. The manicure was just as thorough- Joslyn worked with care on shaping my nails beautifully and painted three coats of polish with precision. I've never had a pedicure or manicure done with such attention to detail, and I've certainly never had one that looks this good a few days later. She is a true artist! Throughout the whole treatment, I enjoyed talked with Joslyn about her experiences as a woman, a mother, a teacher, a community builder, and a creative. I realize that "doing nails" is just one thing that she does- but seeing the way she does that, I know Joslyn would have glowing Yelp reviews for the rest of it, too. All in all, Marlene, Joslyn, and everyone else at Main Street Nail Studio have created a lovely, one of a kind salon environment. In a world of conveyer belt nail salons, this one is a shining gem.
