He explained that if I came early am at 0730 they opened the doors at 7:45 and they could take care of me. Christmas eve --0730 I was at their door. Absolutely horrible, made a 9am appt a week prior, dropped off car at 7:45 am, came back at 11:30, car not even started..left with car at 2pm, 3pm came back with a flat tire, the service man with the girly long blue hair and earrings was unprofessional and rude..told me policy that walk-ins take precedence over appt, and blamed it on the district manager, what a weak employee, spoke with a one eyed manager, who was drunk , and rude..Will never go back and plan on telling everyone I know in Cranston and who works for the State of RI, it's a clown show, unprofessional and a bar room..how do you guys last...it will end soon ..go anywhere but this place! read more

I bought 4 tires here. Two low tire incidents brought me back: malfunctioning valve stem -- fixed, no charge. Returned today, early Saturday morning because of an unexpected nail in the tire. I just spent about $1300 for all new tires and my appointment was at 2 pm. The manager and another employee Jonathan answering the phones didn't know how to move the cars along efficiently with the guy next to me waiting for over three hours for his vehicle. They took over half an hour just to get my car in the bay after I complained of their disorganization. Nathan Viera represented himself as a manager working over 4 years and I watched him explain to me the delay while sittting on a tire propped up as a seat after they were both eating at the front desk. I had to cancel seeing patients and leave the clinic early because they recommended the earlier time and I realize I should pay a little more for my tires with better customer service at another location. I also observed them advise an alignment to another customer and they didn't relay this to the technicians so they removed the car and had to place it back further delaying his wait. I don't even know where to begin! The Cranston location is the only location I'll ever go to. The gentlemen in the front are knowledgeable, consistent, and friendly. (I've had multiple problems at the Warwick location ((just very incompetent people who were hired just to stand there)).. moving on... I can't remember his name (think it begins with a B?) was fantastic. I wish I remembered his name because you need more people like him working for your company. He answered any questions I had. I needed new sensors in my Grand Cherokee because two of them were bad. I went in and they put them in right away. I was in and out within a half an hour. After driving for a little not all the tire pressure was reading on my dash. I went back a couple days later and they fixed it within 10 minutes. My boyfriend put new rims (and tires) on his Lexus. After we picked them up from Warwick one rim was scratched, they put solid ugly gray weights on a bronze rim, and the tires weren't balanced correctly. After talking to the manager in Cranston he told us to come in. He took the gray weights off (CAREFULLY) and put black weights on the new rims, and balanced the tires himself. We had a problem with doing an alignment (the back tows were frozen.) Once I got them fixed I drove there to get the alignment re-done and they squeezed me right in. I have been going to Town Fair Tire locations since I started driving almost 30 years ago. I would say that this is probably the best experience that I've had in all my visits. I stopped in about an hour before closing because my low tire pressure light kept coming on. I was greeted by Kevin, and within a short amount of time, they determined that I had a slow leak in one of my tires due to a nail. For a mere 5 dollars and change, they had the tire patched and the nail removed. I imagine that if I went down the street to Tasca Ford, they would have charged much more. Brought my truck here for tires. They come out to look at the truck and ask if I have a key for my lug nut. My lungs don't require a key. Then after looking at the wheel I am told they cannot work on the truck because I do not have the correct lug nuts. Ok. So I call the company I bought the rims from and they assure me my lug nuts that came with the rim are correct. I have had my tires rotated several times, multiple brake services done. Every other mechanic and the rim company say they are correct. So why won't this town fair work on my truck?? Well it was 96 degrees this day and I was told they already turned away 3 customers before me because it was to hot. So it seems to me they just didn't want to do the job because of the heat. If I could give these guys 153947594875938745 stars, I would. To be honest, this review was due a LONG time ago. For some reason, the past year has been one for frequent (albeit, minor) bad luck. Two flat tires, a busted skid plate and (most recently), I struck a curb when avoiding an accident and bent my rim/popped a tire. Being a slightly less than 0% knowledgeable about cars, it is always a little nerve-wracking to seek help. However, each and every time they took the time to assess the situation, explain exactly what my options were AND give me alternative suggestions for saving money. In one case (the skid plate), they even said I could go to the hardware store and pick up some of my own nuts/bolts and fix it for just a couple bucks rather than have them charge labor. In this most recent case, I had called right after I hit the curb, having realized the wheel was bent (using the phone customer service is ANOTHER story - three stars at best). Turns out, they were able to just bang my wheel back into shape - and although I had already ordered the rim with the Phone team, they didn't charge me and are going to hold on to it just in case something else happens in the next month (I think they've picked up on my luck XD). I really and truly cannot say enough good things about these folks here (and a special shout-out to Kevin!). You guys make what often could be a long and stressful situation turn out on a positive note. My tires are an uncommon size. I ordered some tires online and made an appointment to have them installed and get an alignment done. It turns out the system identified the wrong tire for my car, so the ones I ordered would not fit. The only tires they had in stock were A LOT more expensive. This was annoying, of course, but they did an EXCELLENT job of taking responsibility, and finding a solution that showed respect for my time and wallet. read more

I've been to a few other Town Fair Tire locations and none were half as great as this one. I had a slow leak repaired and also got an alignment. The guys who work here are super friendly and knowledgeable and explain everything really well. I had a bunch of questions and they were happy to answer each one. They're also super fast! Their prices can't be beaten. Warning: the entrance to the right of Town Fair (if you're looking at it) has a pretty steep hill - it is super easy to bottom out on it. Go slow! read more

Had absolutely the WORST service at this corporate Town Fair today. Had an appointment and arrived inside 2 minutes early. No cars in bays( per camera view) 2 mechanics at end of counter on their phones and desk agent took call from " bossman" who took his entire focus as none of the 3 employees even acknowledged my existence in front of them. After listening to him simper to his boss for ten minutes he finally hung up and barely acknowledged me. Had a road hazard warranty on tires purchased there-but of course even though there was pot hole damage on sidewalls it wasn't bad enough to let warranty cover it. I purchased my tires from TFT in Seekonk last year and had the tires rebalanced and rotated in TFT in Cranston out of convenience. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. Anyway they did a good job. My car feels nice and steady no vibrations at high speed. I own an Audi TT Coupe quattro and all four tires have to be on point or it will drive like crap! So this Town Fair tire location in Cranston has only been open about 2 weeks. They are already off to a good start in my eyes. The store is clean, the staff is friendly and the service was timely. I needed to replace all of my tires after one went flat and it was discovered that the other 3 tires were extremely worn and not safe to drive on. Before buying tires however, I did my research for what brand of tires would best suit me based on ratings for dry, wet and winter weather as well as price range. I wanted tires that were going to last and have good consumer reviews. Once I decided on the ones I wanted, I called a number of places to get quotes on the tires. After about what felt like a hundred phone calls, even to a Town Fair Tire in Warwick, I felt defeated as the tires I wanted were way over my price range and the tires that were offered to me, did not do so well with ratings and yet were still a little pricier than I wanted. I ended up speaking to a coworker who mentioned that Town Fair Tire does price matching. I was a little upset that the Warwick location failed to mention that tid bit of information to me. At this point, the lowest tire price in my price range came from BJ's, which was fantastic, however, they do not provide the alignment needed after. That was not so fantastic. I decided to call the Cranston location and asked about the price match. I spoke with a gentleman named Puleo (Leo for short) who said they absolutely do and he would be happy to call and very the price and see if they could beat it. Once he called me back to confirm he was able to verify that price, he mentioned that BJ's had included an automatic rebate and that unfortunately Town Fair only has mail in rebates. He did say that once I received the money back from the rebate the overall price for the tires I wanted which were BF Goodrich, would be cheaper and therefore they would have beat the BJ's price. I was still not to excited about that. Leo asked me what it was about those tires that made me want them. I explained to him the research I did and that they seemed like the best fit for me until I started pricing them. Leo then offered me a solution. He said that while those are very good tires, a lot of these large name brands are part of private label companies where the same material is used expect but the private label company uses their own name, even though they are pet of the bigger company. He recommend tires called Anteriers (not sure I spelled it right) and explained that these tires are actually comparable to the BF Goodrich tires I want, made from the same material, just not labeled with the Goodrich name. He also mentioned he recommended these tires to his mother who happened to have Goodrich tires and she liked these ones better..... I figured if he put his own mother in these tires then they must be good, right? He also offered me a 30 day return policy and 90 day road hazard along with the other perks that go with buying tires at Town Fair. For all 4 tires and the alignment, he was able to beat BJ's price right off the bat and that made me and my wallet very happy!!!! As of the past few days, I really am impressed with the tires. My brakes feel better with these tires. My stopping time and drive have both improved. I had a great experience to say the least. read more

Please don't waste your time and money! Do not come here. My boyfriend took my car here for an alignment after I replaced my tire rods on my car and my car was still not aligned and came back with a grinding sound!! They also told my boyfriend I need to replace my tire rods when I replaced 3 ALREADY! So tell me, HOW? I called to let them know about the problems and they told me to bring it back so I did and my boyfriend told me the guy up front gave an attitude and told him they can't do anything if we don't get the tire rods replace. BUT HOW IF THAT WAS ALREADY DONE AND IF THAT WAS THE CASE WHY DID YOU GIVE ME AN ALIGNMENT??? Second time did nothing, my car is still not aligned and the grinding sound is still there but now EVEN WORSE..please save yourself the time and money from this horrible place. My wife and I purchased a full set of touring tires for our 2010 Acura MDX, Wednesday December 30, 2015. We went to the Cranston, RI location on Sokanosset Crossroads. While the salesman was very polite and helpful, the quality of work was subpar. Not only were the tires a mess (whatever compound is used to get the tire on the rim was all over the wheels and tires) and the service mats left in the car, but the wheels were dangerously unbalanced; at highway speeds the entire car shook like an old jalopy. I made an appointment at the same store to have the technician rebalance the tires. While there was no hassle, the car is not the same; there is still some vibration at highway speeds and now more vibration at low speeds, and this is after the service manager balanced the tires. This is a $40,000 car that used to drive like a dream. I am very unhappy with the driving experience since making a purchase at Town Fair; the ride used to be so smooth, and now I can only feel vibrations in the steering wheel. Maybe Town Fair is the place to go if you have an older car or an economy model, but I am convinced they don't know how to work on luxury brands. I don't know why I thought a national chain would be able to do a good job; I should have brought it to my regular mechanic that specializes in Hondas and Accuras, Wayne's Service Plus in Providence. At this point I can't even go back to Town Fair for satisfaction, because it is clear to me they don't know what they're doing. I plan on returning the tires, going to tirerack.com, and having my garage perform the service (which is what I should have done in the first place). The convenience of Town Fair definitely does NOT outweigh the poor workmanship. My biggest complaint is that, even though the my money will be refunded for the tires, I won't be able to get back the money I spent on service and old tire disposal. My advice to everyone, always try to stay away from national chains (no matter what you're buying), you'll always be more satisfied supporting local businesses. read more

Me and my wife brought our Lexus Rx330 To get a four wheel alignment on Saturday May 7, 2016. There were three employees behind the counter named Larry , Curly & Moe. Brulio and a red headed step child, these idiot's were so unprofessional that they actually took the remote for the customer television and changed the channel to watch a baseball game, that pissed about 3 Paying customers off that were watching the tv .Then they were yelling chanting and acting like three village idiots behind the counter . As a business owner I would not want these idiots working for my company or representing my company, unless I owned a circus. If anyone is looking for free entertainment you should stop in and see a bunch of oversized kids that don't care about their job or the paying customers. I own two cars and have two sets of tires for each. My main car is my baby and I am very picky about who touches it, I have stock wheels and tires for the winter and larger rims for the summer. My second car is my work car which I deliver in so I depend on it. I have studded winter tires and summer tires for it. Needless to say I go through a lot of tires, alignments, etc..... and I return to Town Fair again and again because I am never disappointed. I have moved several times in recent years and while I like the convenience and service I can find at whatever location I am closest to when I need them, if I can I prefer to drive to this location because of the manager Sean (who I have also met and dealt with at other locations.) He and his staff are top notch. I always leave feeling like I made the right decision and understanding what I purchased or what was done to my car. I don't feel like I am talked into anything I don't need or taken advantage of as a women. I have and will continue to recommend Sean and Town Fair Tire to my friends, family, and colleagues. read more
