I called yesterday to get a tire repaired that was going low. Keep in mind. I purchased the tires there not too long ago approximately six months ago and I was told to show up and I was told him I would be 20 minutes. I got there and was told that they didn't have time to fix it and they sent me away even though I mentioned I had a trip in the morning. 1. Made at 10:30am appointment, they asked if I'd be staying with my car, I said yes as I had work at noon. 2. Arrived at 10:20 to be told it would be hours before they'd get to the nail in my tire. They said I could either wait 4 hours or leave it there. Neither was an option for me. 3. I was pretty annoyed and the guy told me the scheduling people double book all week and they don't have enough people working. So basically they make sure they collect the $s and so what if customers have to wait. 4. I went to the mechanic in my neighborhood who plugged the hole within ten minutes. If you want to get your intelligence offended go to this place. This is the second time I went to this place. The first time I got a tire with a bubble in the side and I went there to get the tire changed (i had my own NEW tire that I had as a spare but without the rim. Their answer: you need to buy a new tire from us because we can't get responsability for the tire you brought with you. My solution, went to a family shop in downtown Taunton and got the tire swaped for $40. Today, I had a fallen in the preasure in one of my tires, took my car there to be patched. Their response: you need to buy a new tire from us because it seems you have a nail in a zone too close to the tire wall (they told me that pointing at a littel grey thing incrusted in one of the tires channels, but without even taking the tire off and review it to find the leak). My solution, again... took it to the family shop in downtown Taunton where in 10 minutes, took the tire off the car, found the nail, and patched it for $25. The technician showed me the nail, told me it was right in the center of the floor. I showed the grey thing incrusted in the channel that the person from Town Fair Tire referred to, and he laughed... this is a little stone from the road, and with a smaal tool took it off and showed it to me. Conclusion. The Town Fair Tire people are trained to upsell their customers no matter what. I'll never go back there ever! read more

I came here to get my tire light diagnosed and was told i would be waiting about 90 minutes. That's fine i figured there would be a wait time. exactly 20 minutes later i get a call that my car is all set. i was like "what was the problem with my tire?" the response was that there was a nail and that the tire had been replaced without any authorization from me or any type of price estimate. I had to pay $97 in "labor" for my tire that was covered under a warranty when i only asked for a diag. never have i been somewhere that does any kind of repair work without approval. i asked that my old tire be brought back and i left with my spare tire on the vehicle because i don't want any of my money going to this shady location. no thank you. had i known i would be paying anything over $50 my initial response would've been for the spare tire to be put on until i get paid. read more

My brand new (20 days old) Pacific picked up a screw on a road trip from FLA to MA. The dealership (the place that should take great care of a new car owner) was insisting that the tire and sensor needed to be replaced - a $300++ expense. I left there, found this spot just over a block away. Chuck walked out, looked at the tire and said, "Yeah, we should be able to fix that". They repaired the tire, removed the "fix-a-flat" material and had me on my way in about 30 minutes. But wait, there's more....when he rang me up, he said, "That's $10.57" I was stunned. I asked if I could kiss him (jokingly). It is now over a month later and the tire hasn't had any issues. Called ahead @ Raynham TFT to check tire availability and appointment for 2 tire replacement and alignment. If you don't mind waiting over 2 1/2 hours. Plenty of staff hanging around, service is VERY slow. Alignment was explained to me that "it was done but they can't really adjust it, that's just how Mercedes is". Why did I pay for an alignment if they can't do it properly? They should of been forthcoming with that information prior to my request to have an alignment. $$ was as expected except paying for an alignment that they didn't do properly. You might have to use the restroom while waiting hours. Thats disgusting, now I need to decontaminate. read more

Got to give a shout out to Chuck here at TFT, not only did he find me the best price for my baby's new shoes (Goodyear Eagles A/S) but also found a way through the manufacturer to include a 3 year road hazard warranty which in MA is almost a necessity! Gave me a 90 mins to 2 hour time frame for car to be done and it was right on time, including changing out all 4 tires, balance and 4 wheel alignment. Hands down the worst service I've ever got. All the mechanics are lazy and never doing there job. Front desk workers completely inattentive. Heard multiple people complain about there wait time. Had a nail in my tire and needed. New one, however being an AWD vehicle I didn't want to have to replace all of them!. Jordan was awesome. I asked him if I could order just the one and he said he could,but wouldn't be till Monday (this was friday) but he could check the other Town Fair Tires and see if they had my specific tire in stock. Set it up with the store in Fairhaven for me, (which is where i live )He went above and beyond to help me out and set me up with a "loaner" tire to get me home safely, that will be swapped out with my new tire tomorrow! They must be paying people for these reviews on here. For a tire place they sure do suck at balancing tires. Bought my tires from here, got a good deal. Comes with free tire rotation so a few months later I went in to get my tires rotated. After rotating the tires, I get on the highway and my car shakes now. I bring it back next day and told them it shakes, they said it would probably just need to be balanced. So they "balance" them. Then I get on the highway and it shakes again. I bring it back the next day tell them it is worse now. He said he could get me in but they are busy and it might take 2-3 hours. I told him absolutely not, I'm busy too and this is my 3rd trip back here this week! Then get me in right away after complaining. Then the manager comes out and tells me they snapped the stem off one on my lugs nuts and he would have to make some calls to see if someone could drill it out since they could not there. Tells me it was rusted and it happens sometimes. So I say if it was rusted how did you already get it off twice this week? Basically they cross threaded it and hammered it home with an impact gun. So he tells me to bring it back tomorrow and they will take care of it. I get on the highway and drive home and my car still is shaking on top of everything!! After they balanced it twice already. So I bring it back the next day and they finally fix it but I had to go back a 5th time because they forgot to put my wheel lock back in the car. I will never go back to this location. Not even for free. They have good deals on tires but 5 trips to a place to get your tires rotated? All set with that. They don't know what they're doing. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not go here for any flat repairs , tire balancing , or alignments...in the waiting area they used to have the closed circuit tv from the shop so you could see the work being done ...now it's off..but I watched the functioning one behind the counter and they never balanced my new tire or did an alignment and tried to charge me for both services!!..thats the second time this happened for an alignment...this place has gone way down hill...I will never darken their doorway again unfortunately read more

What a great experience with this location. For having a crappy day the day before getting a flat tire in a snow storm. These guys helped make things better. Although they weren't able to salvage my flat tire [massive screw], they were quick and efficient with replacing the tire. I was in and out within 35 minutes. The employees were extremely nice and answered all my questions. Waiting area was clean, and I love being able to watch them work on my car with their recording system hooked up to the Bay area. Down hill fast is where this place went... Brought my truck in for four tires and an alignment. They forgot the tires. When I pick it up they tell me they didn't have time to align it again after they put on the new tires... I had to come back to get it aligned. I brought my car in by appointment to have a damaged tire replaced and a slow leak repaired , everything was done as expected and courteously, the problem is the slow leak is still leaking after repair and when I called after a couple days dealing with putting air in it they said it would be two hour wait and Or I would have to Make another appointment if I didn't want to wait ,the first appointment was four days from now! I came here the other day to have my 4 tires replaced. After having been shunned by other automotive businesses in the area, I was happy to have been greeted quickly by Sean and made to feel comfortable in the waiting area while my car was serviced. My vehicle was taken into the garage within minutes of my handing over the keys. The sales staff was very informative about which types of tires were best for my car. I don't know very much about cars - I'm lucky I can even pump my own gas. Thankfully, I wasn't spoken down to and swindled into buying a bunch of things I didn't need. I got a great deal on my tires and the best ones for my long commutes across the state. I will definitely be back for any other service that I need done in the future! read more

After blowing a tire on a trolley rail in Boston, I had my car to town fair the day after my mishap to replace my front tires seeing as I was running on a donut. The staff was friendly, knowledgable and timely, and despite the limited availability of my tire size, they had my car fitted with 2 new tires and rims in 2 business days. Overall, I am impressed with their staff's ability to explain the work being performed and providing intuitive recommendations for repair. Had issues here with various services over the last 2 vehicles. But they are close, and even though they are so inconveniently closed on Sundays, without a long drive or paying foolish amounts of money for shipping with online retailers that seem cheaper, here we are. Ill admit they did make things right when needed. But itd be better if things just went smooth and didnt need discussion. Todays issue came up when I needed to remove my spare tire, on the stock Jeep Wrangler bracket. Right away I knew something was wrong when at 280lbs, I had to struggle to get the lugnuts loose. Once I got the tire off, I found the factory spare tire bracket cracked at the the top lugs, definitely from having torque applied by an impact gun. Factory torque specs are 40 to 80lbs for the plastic tire carrier, not the 85 to 125 the wheel lugs call for. Guess I shouldn't have complained about the 2 times the spare wasnt included in the rotation. Now I need a new carrier. read more

I have bought new tires and warrentee insurance from town fair tire fairhaven just before the pandemice outbreak. I have put off going in to have problems with the back tires looked at because of the pandemic and today I called to see if they have any contact free prodical in place. I got snarky response from the store and corporate office. No contact free prodical in place and poor customer care. I called Sullivan tire and they have all new methods of contact free customer care. I am now a customer of Sullivan Tire. Do Not Buy From Town Fair...because they Just Don't Care! read more

After having 4 tires replaced at Town Fair Tire I noticed the following issues: - Half the valve stem caps were missing - Hub caps were not aligned with the valve stems - Wheels over-torqued - Dot indicating lightest part of tire was not positioned at valve stem This is very poor treatment of a return customer. read more

We went to the TFT in Dartmouth a handful of times because my TPMS light was on. They replaced my 2 faulty sensors but the light kept coming on. My husband called the one in Raynham and spoke to Dave and he told me to head over there and he will take care of it. They said they weren't programmed at the Dartmouth one so he reprogrammed them and I was on my way. The light came back on after driving 20 minutes, like it always does. Called back Dave and he said to go back. They replaced all 4 sensors free of charge and the light has been off for a few days! After going tot he Dartmouth location they said if it came back on I'd have to go to the dealership because they can't help anymore. So happy Dave was set on fixing the problem. When I went there Saturday, a gentlemen (possibly the manager, he was in a red tie so I'm assuming so) checked me in and was super nice. They all understood my frustration of having to go back so many times. Very happy with my experience overall, will return back to this location in the future even though it is further than other locations read more

Made an appointment, it took 4 hours, guy brought the car around and i asked if he did a front end alignment and balanced the tires (which I paid extra for)....his response, '"Ummmm was I supposed to do that ? " I would not go there if my life depended on it. I do believe next time I will go to NTB, where I have always had a positive experience. Came in on a Friday morning around 10:30. The service was good, the guy showing me around knew his tires and actually steered me away from buying more expensive tires than I needed. The speed at which the tires were put on my car, however, was glacial. I was told the wait would be 2-2.5 hours (after I had already purchased of course). It has been about 3.5 hours and I'm still waiting. They beat any competitor's price; so you will get a good deal here, but the wait time is long. read more
